I don’t understand how I keep getting used hue lights. This is my second order. The first one was also used and the buttons didn’t work. This one just came in and the sticker was loose and you can see marks on the bulbs. They were clearly used.

The bright setting on the bulb is sometimes not bright enough, and it's noticeable. BUT. I love these. I love controlling it with the app and setting automations so that I can have lights already on when I get home from work, and set it it to mimic someone being home when I'm away. And it's so easy having guests over and setting the lights to dim so that it feels more like a party. They are pretty expensive though so even though I want all of my lights to be Philips it's just not feasible to drop 50 bucks a bulb even though they last longer.

I received my first set of these from my brother in law a couple years ago. Since then I have onboarded several more. Once you have the hub, you can simply keep adding them. I have them in multiple rooms and the Philips Hue app allows me to program them to turn on and off at different times. This is especially handy for my travel schedule. Neighbors never know when I’m home or not, as the lights turn on and off at random times through the week, as they would if I were there.

The light scenes in the app make for easy transitioning from color to color. Each scene sets a particular mood. They work seamlessly with my Alexa echo, so I can simply ask Alexa to turn on the lights. I can also ask her to set the lights to a particular scene. And for my morning routine, once I cue Alexa with my morning wake phrase, she knows to turn these lights on to a specific setting. It’s like having a personal assistant at home.

It's not just the light bulbs that are good, it's the software. Even though other competitors have light bulbs that are on-par or better to the Philips Hue, their software doesn't stand a chance against Philip's software. The hue app is so seamless and easy to use, and everything is set up in just mere minutes! Everything I wanted the hue bulbs to do, the app does it with no problem.

After many years of using LED lights with App controlled settings. I can say that by far this is the best product out in the market. It is easy to set up and can work with any router since it has its own dongle to connect to the lights. In addition I have it connected to apple home kit and can allow for voice activation to turn off, dim, change color light. It is amazing and once again a quality product despite the steep cost. If you are looking for a light bulb that is bright and fun to use this is it.

Amazon had the best bundle I could find. Still way to expensive but the apple home kit connectivity is worth it.

These are a big improvement over others. The glow is bright while delivering soft ambience.

I had issues connecting/updating firmware. Only the hue bridge updated its firmware...
Wasn't plug n play. It was a headach actually.
I only got it working because I'm tech savvy enough to work out the bugs.

Ended up bailing on the phillips hue app all together as it's flawed and created conflict with apple home kit. - Then scanned every single QR code available to get home kit working. (The small one on the packaging inside the box was the only one that let me connect to home kit. That's a joke, ya?)

just imagine someone buying it without original packaging - they'd be unable to connect or at least have great difficulty.

Ni hablar, llegaron en perfectas condiciones. La caja venía con su sello de garantía y funcionan a la perfección.
Mi única recomendación si quieres comprar unos focos inteligentes es que analices bien los lúmenes que quieres en tus focos, yo compre los de 800 lúmenes y siento que parece que tengo velitas en mi cuarto. Para mi próxima compra será mejor uno de 1100 lúmenes o 1600.
Tengo uno en el ventilador y la capuchita que trae el ventilador roba mucho la luz, pero si planean tenerlo en una lámpara de escritorio están bien estos de 800.

Was using some random cheap wifi smart lights and the reliability sucked. They would just randomly not follow commands.

Got these and set up the hub and everything works flawlessly now. They respond to commands fast and hook up with Alexa routines perfectly.

Even the colours just look a lot better.

Plus it auto discovers the lights, no messing around with wierd apps/turning the bulb on/off to pair it.

Smart button battery was dead on arrival. Box looks like it had been opened before but nothing appeared used. Lights and hub work well but the button doesn’t seem to stay connected.
