I’m what you could call a Bluetooth speaker fan…. I’ve got several. To the point where the wife questions my insanity as I get another after another. From Expensive JBL Party Box 310 down to $20 cheap ones. What amazes me most is how they all have their own sound! With this speaker prior to receiving, reading through the listing, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this. I had a feeling it was going to sound great!!! Well to be honest. I was firstly shocked by its small size. I wasn’t expecting it to be this small. Just standing at 5 inches tall. The speaker is built well, it feels solid.The app is easy to use and doesn’t require access to your whole phone just to work! You don’t necessarily need the app if you’d prefer not to. Just simply connect with Bluetooth and you’re ready. With the app, you can control LED patterns and the option for different sound profiles. It doesn’t offer an eq with bands but rather a dot to move around in a circle with each area of the circle having a different characteristic. The speaker sounds good. Not as good as I was expecting but for the price, it sounds good. I was expecting a more vibrant sound that could fill a room. But it makes a perfect nightstand speaker.The coolest feature I’ve enjoyed is the sound effects for sleep that it offers. Enjoy falling asleep to a star filled summer night with crickets chirping or the waves rolling in while sleeping on the beach or a nice fall night with the sound of a camp fire. The sounds are very clean, very real sounding and able to set a timer up to 2 hrs if you’d like. Or just leave it go until it’s time to wake up. The sleeping sounds alone make this speaker standout above many others .The LED lights are a neat touch. Haven’t seen another BT Speaker with a light layout such as this. This speaker sets itself apart from many others. Although I was expecting more from this speaker, it’s cool features came as a surprise and made up the difference.

I’m writing this updated review after concerned customer service reached out about not being able to access the app and having a low volume issue all around. I’ve received and tested the replacement speaker and have to say the first one was definitely faulty.
This speaker connects quick & easy to the app, and projects the volume much louder and farther than I was able to previously. I’m also super excited about the nature sounds! I still love putting them on at night and the volume timer is great at night once you fall asleep.
Overall, the look of the speaker blends in well and looks nice. It has a modern, sleek look and the light show it produces (and customize) is an impressive treat. I really love this speaker and I really appreciate the company insisting on making it right-which they did. This is a small and powerful speaker that is too easy to move around wherever you need it. If you’re entertaining you can take it from inside to out, or vice versa all night. The bass and sound is top notch. I really love the speaker and the customer service experience I got to encounter.

I’m so bummed with this little awesome Bluetooth speaker. The positive-it’s so sleek and cool looking, the colors are gorgeous and I haven’t tried this yet, but it’s waterproof!!?just sitting on the table it gives off a cool light show and it just looks like a nice classy speaker. Now, what in so bummed about is I cannot connect to the app! I’ve tried it about a hundred times at home. I’ve taken it to work too and tried it there and it will not connect. I have my phone connected to it via Bluetooth but I need the app. It has a lot of options and I’m hoping it increases the volume. When just the phone is connected via Bluetooth, it does not get very loud. The whole point of a speaker is LOUD music, right?? Unfortunately I have to deduct for that as well. I can’t hear it when I’m cleaning and dip into rooms right next to each other.
Overall-I’m confused. The price point seems accurate when you unbox this. It’s a looker, for sure. It’s cool and nice looking with a comparably cool light presentation. The sound is clear, crispy..but the volume is low. I’m not looking for a mosh pit, but I don’t think it’s too much to ask to have it loud enough to motivate me while I’m cleaning. I could only imagine how you would struggle to hear if you take it to a waterproof spot like the beach or pool party. You and your speaker would be a dud.
The app doesn’t connect. I’ve had people at work try, too, I’m case I was missing my error. Nothing. So to sum it all up, I’m really disappointed. It’s a pricey little speaker-well worth it if all its bells & whistles functioned-but all I have is a cool looking speaker to gently & quietly hear my songs around the house.
