awsome little buggy, has amazing acceleration and top speed over all its built very well and is a blast to drive. I am very happy with this buggy Ive spent a lot more on name brand hobby grade rc's and this will hold it own with them if not out perform most of them! I cant wait to upgrade to the brushless set up to see just how insane this thing can get!

Best buggy you can get for the price.

Car is almost too fast for its size. The controller has a speed limiter on it to get used to speed. 1st run it crashed into a truck tire and survived. The only negative I have is the instructions do not tell you where the on button is. (a little red button on the servo.

Fast and Fun

My go to when my Traxxas is down. This is my 2nd 144001, (both run, one is upgraded), and I can tell you for the price, it's an amazing buy. Not "hobby grade" like HOSIM garbage, this is hobby level, like any Traxxas or high end. Parts readily available, good quality metal upgrades available too. I have a 75% metal conversion on my other model with a faster motor.

its fast but the battery dont last to long and the esc and motor get hot fast so it shuts down the car really fast full throttle u got like 3 minutes before it over heats but i also put way bigger wheels on it with more traction the car will wheelie so i put a wheelie bar on it as well  im gonna put a fan on it it has to have one it gets hot fast but other then that its pretty fun for how cheap it is my traxxas rustler vxl 4x4 was $500 this little car i paid $75 bucks for

Amazing value with two 2200mAh batteries. I have found these batteries to be high quality and long lasting. Wish I had caught it at last months price (ten dollars less). I've found the brushed versions to be more stable and durable than the brushless (heavier and slower so they are less flighty, and less torque means that the drivetrain components are under much less stress). Only four stars are given as a lot of prep work is required. The differentials need properly lubed, the shocks come under or over filled, and the toe needs to be properly set up front. There is also a lower toe rear setting that is optional and recommended (there are videos online detailing all of this). The car looks great and is reminiscent of the cars of my youth...only less expensive and quite fast in comparison. This has plenty of speed for offroad use, but the diminutive size means that care needs taken in selecting a fairly well prepped surface otherwise the day will be spent flipping it back over. The power, weight, and balance are all very good for the size. Mine was upgraded with a hard plastic wing (the original bends out of shape fairly quickly) and the offroad tires from a 124017 model.

This is the 4th in this family of vehicles I have purchased. It is nice to have parts commonality among the range. I look forward to a long time of use with it.

The axles are not particularly durable. Once re-bent too many times LC Racing CVD's tend to last forever as a replacement. It also pays to buy differential drive cups,  some shock oil, and LC Racing shock seals...or the entire set of shocks can be replaced inexpensively.

For those complaining of crash damage, RC cars are not meant to be rammed into immovable objects! These things will take tumbles for days. High speed ramming into hard objects breaks the best of them!

One of the best RC cars under $100

The car was great, amazingly fast, until the motor stopped working. I had to buy a new motor and replace the bad one. I still like the car though

I liked its speed and manoeuvrability but it lacked in durability. The first day I used it, the front shock tower bent.

Good for the money

car was great for 10 minutes. then remote fell apart on the inside. trigger pieces became dislodged and fall out from remote. sensor and physical trigger. contacted company with 1 response. sent pictures and description of what happened and communication has ceased since.

Don’t buy tire axle broke on third time out for a race. Fender snapped off within the first 20 minutes.

Broke in less than 24 hours only ran 3 races
