How often do I have to use my SmoothSkin Pure Fit?

With Pure Fit, you only need to use the device once a week for 12 weeks initially, and then just top up as required, usually once every 4 – 8 weeks to keep regrowth at bay. Using the device more often is unnecessary and could result in irritation.

Is IPL treatment painful?

This varies from person to person, but most users describe it as a slight tingling or warm sensation that is not painful. Remember Pure Fit has a GENTLE MODE for particularly sensitive areas.

How long does it take to see results?

You can see visible results in as little as 2 weeks with Pure Fit, depending on your own hair growth cycle. It may take some users a little longer to achieve results, we recommend following the treatment regime for at least 12 weeks.

Is IPL permanent?

SmoothSkin devices will prevent hair regrowth as long as you keep treating regularly. After the initial 12 week regime, you will need to do ‘top up’ treatments every 4–8 weeks depending on your hair growth rate. Results may vary for different people.

(Long review..sorry) So I have PCOS like many many others. The chin hairs...OMG those damn chin hairs! Shaving, plucking etc. About 15 yrs ago I had professional laser treatment and that lasted for about a yr before those buggers came back. Like all of us, I have been so self conscious of my shin stubble. The shaving and plucking cause irritated skin/redness etc. Miserable. So I decided to try this even though I cringed a bit at the cost. The pictures here are 8 wks apart (side view and under the chin) - week one was late that first evening even after I had shaved that morning. Week 8 photos are taken on a sun night and I haven't shaved since Saturday morning!! Yes, there is still dark stubble but no where near like before and it has been about 36 hrs since a shave vs maybe 10 hrs!! I have also used this on my underarms/bikini area and seen a difference there as well - I have not used on legs. Even if I don't see all the chin hair gone by the 12 week mark, I am still quite pleased with this. The whole process on the chin takes about 2 minutes and it does feel a bit warm but not HOT. The only warning I have is be super careful around any tattoos or dark spots. I accidently caught the mole under my chin (slight ouch) and the edge of a tat on my ankle when I thought I would do my legs - BIG ouch!! Tat blistered right up for about 2 weeks and that first 24 hrs felt like that area was being bit by dozens of ants. Also i didnt really notice any difference till around the 3-4 week mark. Anywho..yep, still shaving daily but no more of that heavier stubble by evening - i am excited to see what continued use shows. So.....if you have PCOS and those nasty chin hairs - try this and I hope it works well for you!!

It works as it is described and I saw hair reduction after 3-4 sessions. The problem is that by the 5th session, it would only work sporadically. Sometimes when I would push the button, nothing would happen. I cleaned the device exactly like the handbook describes as well. After I was half way through the 8th session, it completely died and now nothing ever happens even after letting it cool down. I tried following up as it advertises, but the only thing Amazon stated due to the issue my device had, was that it was too late to offer any refunds or returns. I had it for 60 days (one session a week for 8 weeks). End result, good product and worked liked it said, but only for 2 months.
I would not pay this price for 8 total sessions and then be done.

I have fair skin and dark hair, which is ideal for laser hair removal. I’ve been using this product for roughly 8 months on a weekly basis. Initially I saw a real reduction in hair growth on my armpits and bikini line, but the results ave been stagnant for the last several months. I don’t know if the bulb has weakened or if it’s just not strong enough to completely eliminate the hair?
The machine itself is easy to use. It does get overheated however and hurts after several minutes of use, so I do have to take breaks to let it cool down.
In the initial months I would have definitely recommended this product, but at this point I think I’m better off going to a professional, so I’m giving 3 stars.

I did not believe this would work for me, but it DOES. I have been using an epilator forever because I am (TMI) unfortunately a hairy beast who would need to shave my entire body every day, and then be razor burned pretty much constantly. After 3 weeks of once per week usage, I have noticed a SIGNIFICANT reduction in darker hairs on my legs and arms! I will keep using it because the results are amazing! I have always wanted to do IPL laser hair removal but the packages have always been way above my budget i.e roughly 1lakh.
