Product Description
This product has the stages of "Digimon Adventure tri." And "Digimon Adventure LAST EVOLUTION Kizuna" added to "Digivice Ver.15th" released in 2015, and includes the entire history of the adventures of the main character Taichi and his friends. It is a Digivice that was made.
The body color has been changed from the transparent coloring of the previous work to the coloring that appears in the main part of the animation.
It reproduces the Digivice that Taichi and his friends actually had. In addition, the coloring that appears in the main part of the animation will be the first commercialization of Digivice.
The game system is equipped with a pendulum sensor like the previous work and counts the number of steps. Catch "HELP" and the story progresses.
The stages where you can adventure are not only the TV animation "Digimon Adventure" broadcast in 1999 and the movie "Digimon Adventure Our War Game" released in 2000, but also "Digimon Adventure tri." Released in 2015 and released in 2020.
The stage of "Digimon Adventure LAST EVOLUTION Kizuna" has been added.
New Digimon such as "Alphamon", "Imperialdramon", and "Agumon -The Bond of Courage-" have been added, and about 80 Digimon, the largest number ever, will appear.

This is not like your traditional digimon virtual pet. There are no care elements, your digimon will not die, poop, or get hungry. It will get injured but that only affects it's ability to battle. Also, evolution is temporary, and must be earned by succeeding in battle enough times.
This device is entirely in Japanese, but it's easy to figure out what each function is. All I had to look up was that in a battle, the second option ( once unlocked ) is to evolve, and the third option is to switch digimon ( again, once unlocked )
Gameplay is simple, just clip it to your belt and walk or just shake it to activate the pedometer, and your digimon will "walk" with you. As you walk, you will encounter enemies. Then you mash the top button to attack, if you mash enough, you will land a hit on the enemy, fail, and the enemy hits you. If you fail to engage the enemy, it will injure your digimon, so listen for the little beeps. Might be best not to take your digimon somewhere very loud, as the beeps can be awful quiet... also, be very careful, I would not trust that clip to keep the digivice on your belt. A shirt pocket is much better, just take care not to bend down so it falls out.
At a certain point, you will unlock more digimon. If you defeat the boss digimon holding them captive, they joing your team, and you can switch between them. Your digimon sleeps at night, at which point, they can no longer. If you leave your digimon alone for too long it makes an angry face at you, but this seems almost unavoidable, as they count the time they spend asleep as time apart. I don't think it has any negative impact on the game? I haven't found one at any rate.
I would advise against buying this unless you're a diehard digimon fan and a collector. If you're interested in virtual pets, i'd steer you toward a cheaper and more traditional, yet very feature heavy Digimon Ver. 20th, which Amazon lists as an "original digimon", it may not look like the device from the anime, but it's a lot cheaper and is a more traditional digimon experience. But this is a great LCD game for more hardcore fans, and it doubles as a cosplay prop for some of you.
