Great Solution to Raise a Table Up to Standing Height
Smart Business Mom
Product Description
Is your bed too low for there to be ample storage space under it?
The space underneath your bed can be a great place to stow away boxes and bins and keep them out of sight. This can be especially helpful for rooms low on real estate and can't accommodate additional freestanding cabinets, shelving units, or dressers.
But what if your bed frame's too low? Don't fret — we have the perfect accessories to help you get the additional height you need, making it easy for you to slide containers in and out from under your bed!
These Adjustable Bed Risers from Home It lets you effortlessly elevate your bed — or any furniture, for that matter!
This set gives you 4 small risers (3”) and 4 large risers (5”). And since they’re stackable, you can put the smaller ones on top of the larger ones to get a combined height of 8”. The opening measures 3x3x0.75” and can accommodate most furniture legs.
Not only can you use them to elevate your bed so you can breathe less dust from the air and enjoy better sleep. You can also install them beneath the legs of your couch, or chair and make getting up easier for your knees. They can also raise the height of office tables and study desks so you don't have to stoop or bend over while working. This helps save you from back pain!
These leg extenders are also safe to use. They're made from heavy-duty polypropylene plastic and won't easily collapse. In fact, they can support a total weight of 1300 lbs. The openings have raised edges that keep furniture legs from slipping out.
Here are more details about these furniture risers:
- Made from reusable, non-hazardous materials
- Quick and easy installation
- Doesn’t scratch or dent hardwood floors
- Comes in Black, blends seamlessly into your home interiors
Easily customize the height of your furniture. Add the Home It Adjustable Bed Risers to your cart TODAY!

Unlike in the 90s when bed risers weren’t reinforced underneath, causing bed casters or furniture feet to bust thru the platform base, these are indeed HEAVY-DUTY, as advertised. We now see the extra undergirding of support, so there won’t be any issues with this new generation of risers.
What’s extra-special about this set is that you can adjust the height of the risers, using the 3” and 5” heights separately, for when you only need a little boost, to stacking the small one on top of the larger one, combining to raise up your sofas, tables, and chairs, 8” in height. They sit securely on the ground, on their flared bases, so you can have peace of mind that they won’t be tippy.
I do recommend these, in particular, if you want the option to raise your furniture up 3”, 5”, or 8” in height. Most are just one set height (usually 5” - 6”), but this set acknowledges that some cases call for more adjustability, so it’s brilliant to offer this option to customers, since they’re not sold everywhere—unless I missed them, I didn’t see this type of risers at Walmart. These are made to last, so you’ll be happy with the quality of the materials & construction. 👍

Now that you get the general idea about this riser im going to get more into detail about this hoping people will understand certain things.
So the serface area in witch your beds "leg" (or whatever you plan to use this on) will sit on thies riser is about 3in by 3in. So if the leg of your bed, sofa or whatever you plan to use this for is wider than 3in by 3in then your out of luck. But if not then your good to go.
So now that you know if your good to go or not here is more advice and or detail however you want to take this. So if the leg on your bed is very thin like about an inch or 1 1/2 in think twice b4 getting this. People complain about how thies break and the leg of there bed just goes right thru the riser and all but dont stop to think about how if your using this for your bed (lots of weight will be on this PLASTIC riser) and your bed legs are very small and cant take advantage of the space on the riser available properly to allow an even weight distribution on the riser witch will then lead to all the weight being forced on to a small section of this riser and then leading to the plastic getting weak due to inproper weight distribution on the PLASTIC riser and then eventually break. So think a little bit. Dont get be wrong tho, thies are some sturdy and thick risers i am very content with them. But it was just my luck that the legs on my sofa fits nearly perfectly into this riser witch makes me feel comfortable as the weight is being properly applyed to the riser like it should be.
Ok now that hopefully you understand what i was getting at up there, now you may be thinking (if your bed/sofa has really thin legs) is this for me? Can i still make it work? Yeah you can but you will need to get a bit craftey. So instead of putting those thin legs onto the riser itself, you can cut a fairly thick pice of wood and apply it into the space where you would put the leg of your bed/sofa and then put the bed on top of that. What dose this do you might ask, well since your putting the thin leg of your bed/sofa on top of the pice of wood that is utilizing all of the space on the riser...this then applys all the weight evenly on to the riser. ...if you dont understand then im sorry i did my best but hopefully you did.
Dont forget they are rated at 300lbs per raiser!!! So if you utilize the space provided on the riser properly and are using 4 at a time you should be safe for 600lb...im not garenteeing it but on the riser itself says "maximum weight per riser 300lb" Hope i helped!
Oh and as for people who have wheels on the bottom of there bed, as long as the wheels are pretty wide then i dont think you should worry but if not then maby look for something else or go with the pice of wood thing i sed earlier in the discrption.
***Update 7/15/15
So it has been about half year using thies risers and i must say i have no problems with them, no cracks stretchs or anything. Like i sed makee sure the weight is applyed evenly and you should be good. I recently bought a new futon that i use nightly with my wife and everything is sold 👌

Our granddaughter who weighs 102 'flopped' on the completed bed and we all heard a 'pop'. Sure enough one of the posts had gone through a riser.
We determined that we didn't need the full 8" and removed the 3" risers, which eliminated the damaged riser.
Two nights later while laying in bed my husband heard a 'pop' (he weighs about 170). When I came to bed he mentioned it but we were too tired to do anything. The next day we took the bed apart (again) and replaced the damaged 5" riser (luckily I had that extra set). He had his crew cut a set of thin metal plates which we dropped into each recess, relieving the pin point load.
It's now been a week and no more 'pops'
The rigid walls are fine, it's the center recess that is questionable in terms of strength. Our bed frame was on wheels and when we removed them we were left with a tapered metal leg. This may have contributed to the stress/load, but I have to think that most beds have metal legs and that all users would remove the wheels from the legs before using the risers resulting in a very similar condition.
If you were to use these I'd strongly suggest a thin metal plate or 1/4" ply be placed in the cups. Be sure that whatever you use is thin enough that the retaining wall of the cup still contains your bed leg - you wouldn't want the bed to slip off.
Due to their shape (flared sides) the risers are right at the outer perimeter of the bed's frame and I've kicked them once or twice while making the bed. That will take a little getting used to.
On the plus side we love the look of the new elevation and I plan to use the left over 3" cups on a chair while working at a high table top - these will have metal plates inserted too.
