Sensitive, phenomenal; casting, outstanding;
I have no dislikes. I bought it for crappi fishing, n it's a crappi catchin machine. The sensitive blowes my 6'4" bnm crappi spinning rod outta the water. I did get the Okuma I'm 7'6" n it's perfect. I also have n Okuma Crisium 9' fly rod for my jig pole n I love it also. Excellent poles for their prices, I'm my opinion their the best on the market. Would definitely recommend the Celilo light action rods, or any Okuma fishing product!!!

1.0 out of 5 stars Received a defect?
Reviewed in the United States on June 27, 2023
I was giving this three stars, one for the feel and casting distance, a star because I like Okuma gear (specifically my old Coronado reel, and my newer ABF-55 Avenger reel that I had on this rod), and a star because Amazon is offering to replace it. This was ordered 6/20, delivered 6/22. The box wasn't folded so no obvious shipping damage, but upper section of the rod broke in the middle on a cast. Weirdest place. See pics.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but a new rod is not supposed to self destruct on approximately the twentieth cast during the first hour out on the water. Self-destructed under no strain, casting unweighted 7.5" Slug-gos, and never caught a fish. Owned it a couple of days. Fished it less than an hour.

Again, I respect much of Okuma's gear, so I am hoping to replace in kind instead of seek a refund. I hope this one had a hidden defect and the next serves me a long time. Here's hoping.

UPDATE: downgraded to one star when the replacement arrived broken. I like the ability to return, and willingness to replace, but no more. I've lost faith. I don't know if Okuma's quality has diminished that much, or if there's some weird handling going on before they get packaged, but two in a row? No thanks.
