It has 39g sugars per serving.Interesting if you don't compare it to a whiskey.The bottle was received partially full. Amazon does not allow returns for many foodstuffs, so it didn't look good. It took some fancy dancing and manipulation of amazon's attempts not to speak with their customers, but I did get through, and they gave me a credit.

have never found an alcohol substitute that tastes acceptable by itself and this is no exception. works passably well mixed with soda or cola / diet cola for a mixer without the alcohol. better than many alternatives, not too sweet. could be a bit warmer, other brands use a touch of cayenne or similar to add a bit of heat. if you are looking for an non-alcoholic mixer option this is definitely worth a shot - just understand what you are getting!

It's aroma was not bad. The smell reminded me of over-sweet whiskey cocktails, but this flavor is lacking - too tart and sweet, very flat and not as complex as Ritual or Seedlip. Best combo was using it to sweeten a strong tea with cardamom and anise fragrances. After the bottle is finished, I don't anticipate getting another.

I will buy this again. It smells like whiskey and leaves a little bite in your throat like whiskey. I agree with other reviewers, that it's not so great straight. I mixed it with a few drops of cinnamon extract (you have to buy it online); a dollop of bourbon barrel aged maple syrup; a marischino cherry and an orange or lemon wedge over ice. Feels like a real drink without the buzz and hangover.

The thought of being able to drink something other than coffee with my cigar intrigued me so I bought a bottle. I opened the bottle and took a whiff and i was impressed. But when I tasted it, it was way too smooth, like a sugary soft drink with no fizz. I could have just downed the whole bottle. If they could have put some sort of spice that would create a burning sensation it would have been much better. In all fairness they do tell you it is best to mix it and drinking it neat is not the best way to consume the product, but that's what I did anyway. I'm adding a star to the review because of that.
