Publisher's summary

With the holidays nearing, Brantley Walker and Reese Tavoularis are getting settled, both personally and professionally. For Reese, dealing with Brantley’s about-face regarding the size of the task force is easy. It’s meeting the parents that he’s worried about.

On the work front, the Off the Books Task Force has a stack of cold cases that need to be tackled, but two new cases keep them moving across the great state of Texas. One of which turns into a dangerous game of hide and seek.

Need more story...Less sex

the first three books were OK... problem is that there is too much sex... I. ean there are whole chapters that are just sex. the first book had two chapters in a row that was just sex. I am a huge fan of MM Suspense-thiller-crime-paranormal. another story overall is good even thou I wouldn't want the two leads looking for me if I was missing. Between taking time to get each other off and missing blanton clues that could have saved the victims at least 24 hours earlier...they just are not very bright. the author could definitely benefit from reading Gregory Ashe or Alice Winter novels. They know how to build a relationship between two men with out them constantly having to have sex. it is not realistic.

Gripping

The third book in the latest series from Nicole Edwards and I was hooked from the first to the last chapter. Brantley Walker and Reese Tavoularis continue to explore both their professional and personal relationships in this latest addition to the series.

As their investigations for Off The Books Task Force become more complicated, danger will rear it’s head and people will be put in jeopardy. The story was gripping, the suspense riveting, with so many twists and turns which made for a great read.

Nicole Edwards is certainly making a mark with her suspense books. Not only was there a great deal of suspense but the heat that sizzled between Brantley and Reese was smoking hot. You cannot help but become invested in the story that Ms. Edwards wove.

Thor Thom and Charley Ongel did a great job with their narration and the voices were easy to listen too.

Such good romantic suspense!

And the suspense keeps building! Nicole Edwards has hit it out of the park with this series, each book building on the last and investing us in the outcome of not only he romances, but the cases! Brantley and Reese are going strong and it's time for Reese to meet the parents. There is no family I would rather sit at a table with than the warm, loving Walkers! And we get the blossoming romance of JJ and Baz! Witty banter and high, sexual tension add to the fun of seeing them move the next level. But this is not what is catching my attention! The suspense storyline is fantastic. It's building, there are small clues and answers, and such a realistic feel to the story keeping it fresh and exciting. I can't wait to hear book 4!

Tor Thom and Charley Ongel continue their amazing narration of this series. They are these characters and I love the voices they use as well as the inflections. Their chemistry shows through with JJ and Baz and the duet style just makes it that much better! Love this pair and always enjoy their story telling.
