Customers are mixed about the clumping of the animal litter. Some mention that it clups well, and covers the urine smell well. However, others say that it doesn't clum very well, the urine clubs stop sticking together so well, so when you're scooping the clumsy pieces fall into a million pieces.

Costwise, it's incredibly effective. One bag last a whole month for one cat (actually lasts a whole month, not just says it does on the package!) and is less than half the cost of brands like Pretty Litter.
It's super light weight, I didn't realize the package I was bringing in had litter in it until I opened it.
When pouring it has virtually no dust, and is easy to pour with the resealable package design.
Tracking does occur, which is inevitable with my long hair cat, but isn't carried as far as other litters we've tried. Plus, accidentally stepping on a grain of litter made of corn is about a thousand times better than stepping on a piece of silica crystal.
The clumps are smaller and don't break as easily, I'm assuming because the corn is more absorbent than clay-based litter. It's easy to scoop, and needs topping off less throughout the month as you're removing less litter each day.
There is a slight smell, a bit of a 'farm-y' outdoorsy smell, but there is no piss or feces smell anymore. I don't mind the corn husk smell, you kind of get used to it pretty quick, and it's much better than a reeking amonia smell.
My cat transitioned fully overnight and hasn't had any issues with the new litter. She used to roll around in the litter at every full change, and that would leave her dusty and smelling of clay and chemicals, but now she rolls in the corn litter and easily shakes off any pieces sticking to her and gets on with her day with no smell and no dust.
If you’re the kind of person who writes negative reviews solely on the basis of the smell of a thing, Do yourself a favor and give this one a WIDE BERTH. Just get something else!! As much as I’m not too keen on it- the smell of the litter is vastly more pleasant than what’s going in it! I find a liberal sprinkling of Baking Soda helps dampen the smell of both. Speaking of baking soda, my usual, preferred brand had been Arm&Hammer naturals since the clumping pine litter I had been using just vanished. I find availability of the A&H to be a bit spotty in local stores. The Petco near my house, for example doesn’t carry it but has dozens of different CLAY litters(which I won’t use) and all of plant fiber litters they do carry are exorbitantly priced. That’s why the A&HN was so great! It was lightweight, plant-based, nice-smelling, very effective and compared to most fiber-litters- very economical. Availability was bad enough but the price here on amazon started to fluctuate pretty wildly between “good” and “preposterous” so this Nature’s Miracle stuff was a very attractively priced alternative. The Arm&Hammer had a nicer scent kind of like laundry soap or softener but that also changed at some point to be more perfumey but still fresh, soapy& better than this one. But again- it’s cat litter and this still an improvement over what the cat puts in it! Having had several spiteful cats over the years, I’d become intimately acquainted with nature’s miracle’s other cat-adjacent offerings & I wish that the scent of the litter was closer to the urine&stain remover. This stuff DOES clump up well- even when it’s really saturated. You still get a bit of ammonia smell though. That’s if it’s really bad though- like you’d gone away overnight or something. If you’re a religious litter-scooper, you shouldn’t notice. I would probably only repurchase this if it were still as cheap as it Was when I originally bought it but I wouldn’t do so very enthusiastically and if I were able, I’d probably get something else even though it were higher-priced. This is good in a pinch though. If I can get it again for super-cheap, I’ll probably try mixing it with a higher-priced clumping plant-fiber litter.!

This litter is AMAZING. My 3 cats love it and it clumps well (compared to pine litter, which I also tried and did not like, despite being way cheaper). Yes it does track, but I bought special pads to put under my litter boxes and I do a small vacuuming around the litter boxes everyday and there really isn't a problem when I do this routine. I change my 2 litter boxes ever month and 1 bag of 18 pounds fills my 2 litter boxes :)
