I'm not familiar with other brands or varieties of Helichrysum, but the odor of this product is quite strong and slightly medicinal. Perhaps eucalyptus should have been noted in the perfume profile to temper expectations. The perfume notations are Earthy, floral and sweet- but I would add Medicinal and astringent. I looked up it's properties and it will be good for cosmetics, but I will have to use it sparingly as an experiment before incorporating it into regular recipes. It comes with a dropper, so it's easy to measure small amounts.
