I am a huge fan of this very talented storyteller and was anxiously waiting for this new series.
Four years ago, Caleb Romero, then an off duty firefighter, witnessed a horrific car crash and became the lifeline to the lone young survivor, FIona, and later, her “aunt” /guardian, Emerson Aldridge. He was smitten with both and not only continued to check up on them, but also ended up purchasing a home next door. He became their friend and support person.

We are back at the Misfit Inn where at one time Joan, a foster mother, gave a group of kids a chance of finding a family.

This time the story belongs to contractor and YouTube fixer upper celebrity, Wyatt Sullivan and Nashville publicist for the rich and famous, Deanna James.
Both have had personal struggles to deal with. One with a divorce that destroyed her trust in men, and parents that think she’s not focused in her life, and the other one feeling guilty about an event that changed his brother’s life as well as his attempts to bring his show to the networks.
When Deanna buys a dilapidated house in the midst of a night of one too many glasses of wine and realizes she needs help, in comes Wyatt . He not only helps her but proposes a partnership.
Wyatt also helps Deanna realize she is talented , while also showing her she can trust and depend on him.
But what happens when a mishap occurs, hurtful words are said and a potential contract for a tv program is in danger?
This was another touching story about family, friendships, hope, and second chances in life and love.
