Get it, it works great
I had looked at this product for over a year. I didn’t want to pay the price. I thought I’m not paying these bastards this much money, I could make something that’d work myself. I made two different versions of a dog ramp, spent many hours testing in the water, spent about $80 in misc parts, after all that time and money it didn’t work that well. (I almost had it but decided I could make it better and in the process ruined it). So after another exasperating outing with my McGyvered versions I plunked down the money for the Pup Plank. This weekend was the first test. It worked great, I should have gotten one sooner. The dogs went right up it, well it took the Beagle took a few tries to figure out to use the ramp.I see some people panned the pump and cords. The pump works fine. I have a pup on the boat but the hand one supplied with the ramp is faster than getting the electric one out. It fills in 30 seconds.So if you’re looking at this thinking there is no way I’m spending that much for this, do it, it’s worth it. If I were to meet the developers of this product, I’d buy you a beer, my hats off to ya! Good job!

We bought this for our boat trip this weekend. We had three large pups (60lbs+) and this was a BIG hit. Usually we have to haul them up onto the swim platform which is awful for our backs and usually ends in scratches, but this was easy for them to use, super sturdy, and they loved to have access to get out easily. Our largest shepherd loved just sitting in it to stay cool. The materials are sturdy and there is a note on the box with the number for the replacement netting should that become damaged. We have very enthusiastic labs and German shepherds so this will get some serious use.
The Kit included the tie-down ropes which were plenty long enough. A repair kit, pump, and carry case. So far so good. I will update if anything changes.

The inflatable boarding ramp is really well made, attractive, and easy to setup and use. I have an older golden retriever with bad hips, and was worried he might have difficulty with it. Guided him toward the opening and he climbed right up into the boat - really impressive! I’m looking forward to not having to hoist him back in when he needs a break from swimming.
The only reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 was for the quality of the accessories. This is not an inexpensive product, and having investigated making/selling my own with dropstitch manufactures in China, I’m aware of the unit cost for ordering these in bulk. The pump is complete garbage, the storage bag is oversized and yet I still expect it to rip after a few uses, the little nylon strap provided to secure it is too short and should have a plastic buckle instead of just a tension closure, and finally the ropes it comes with are too short to be of any use. For the price, it should have better accessories in my opinion.
The only reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 was for the quality of the accessories. This is the perfect solution to get your dogs on and off the boat or a pool. We have tried the DIY solutions and failed with every attempt. So I decided to finely spend the money on something that works. We now no longer have to help the dogs in the boat. After just a few times of the showing them how to use this. Now they know how to do it all by themselves. I would highly recommend purchasing this. You won't regret spending the money. It packs down into it's own little bag with the pump. It's very well built with rubber pads for footing and very strong nail proof rubber so it won't pop.
