This piece is exquisite. This was my Christmas Present from my husband (that I picked out) and It is perfect in every sense of the word and it stands out among my collection of different pieces because of the deep rich purple spikes that sparkle & shine in the light. It has a really nice energy that feels clean and calming.
Mine is closer to a pound and has a unique overall shape and even where it was smoothed out in the back it's beautiful with the light grey, dark grey & black stone. Then you have a layer of clear crystal and purple Amethyst tips. No cracks or flaws to be found and it stands upright really good because the base is perfectly level (we checked with a tiny level) and worth every penny as a show piece. This company sells high quality Crystal Pieces and I will be a return Customer at some point.

Your piece is unique and it is part of the exact moment of the origin of the rock after the volcanic eruption. This one for example shows agate and jasper formations at edges!
Tiny Fissures
Tiny fissures at the basalt are common in amethysts geodes.
We select each stone carefully and when we detect that the fissures are too large and may affect the overall structure of the amethyst, we discard them.
Calcite formations
As they are natural stone pieces, their appearance can vary from the images shown here and they may contain tiny pits and fissures, agate formations, stalactite, calcite, chalcedony, rainbow due to druzy, iron stains that can vary in quantity.
Stalactite Eyes
Beautiful crystals, such as this kind of amethyst are valuable gifts from nature.
Some of them have additional minerals in their formation. You might be lucky enough to get an amethyst with stalactite eyes inside!

This is so pretty! The purple is a bit darker than I was expecting since Amethyst can vary from lighter to deeper tones. When the light hits it you can really see the shimmer. I set it on a standard post-it note so you can see size. It's just slightly taller than it is wide. They buff down and polish the edges so that part is smooth, the rest of it is just natural. I'm so pleased with this purchase that I had to share. These Deep Purple Project stones are more affordable than many out there and they are beautiful.

My chunk of geode measured 11cm at its highest point and 8cm across at the base. It weighed exactly 679 grams, which was within the 600-700gram range promised. It was a deep, gorgeous purple. The outside of the stone was polished basalt.
It was exceptionally well wrapped, with thick padding around the geode.
This really is a stunning piece and will have a place of pride in my home.
