An excellent novel. Loved all the cast. While in theory it doesn't need a full sequel, would be nice for Cade and the crew to ride once again

Good storyline. Fast paced and new kind of magics.It keeps you on your toes and gets your blood flowing. The author is very aware of the mystical realms. He is very good about his pace and you just fall into the whole thing. Very well storytelling, I couldn't put it down. Definitely one of the best stories of the year. If you read one book this year this is the book!!!

Sebastien de Castell had just finished a degree in Archaeology when he started work on his first dig. Four hours later he realised how much he actually hated archaeology and left to pursue a very focused career as a musician, ombudsman, interaction designer, fight choreographer, teacher, project manager, actor and product strategist.
