Since my original review these headphones are still going strong. Battery is still operating and still holds charge well. The sound they have warmed up as with all speakers through proper conditioning. As per original review "Con- volume dependent on phone". (Not true;advanced settings in bluetooth menu fixed sync media). My fault, I either did not notice or hadn't updated my bluetooth option capabilities (see pic). Would give 5 stars if volume wasn't too limited and accessories insufficient, but the case and price point are solid

Good For Intended Use

Intended use: pre-purchase/track selections, set-building and on the go music enjoyment... and more track selecting.
PROs- Accurate neutral sound, no recognizable embellishments, Adequate levels for critical listening (unless you live near a loud construction zone or on the train tracks, or have hearing issues). These have a relatively strong but flexible construction with tight but comfortable suction cup ear pad cushions. Bluetooth signal distance and reception through/around (3)walls and kitchen cabinets works really well. The included Hardstyle Case is a nice bonus. These really come alive with the wired connection. Drivers hold up when being pushed in moderation with headphone amp or connected to mixer headphone output where you can adjust input gain/eq settings and volume output.
Although I enjoy these, there is some design features in question that I deducted 1 and 1/2 stars for.
CONs- No Internal gain or has limited gainstage amplification (louder with wired connection to phone); pushing + or - on headphones only controls the signal source(phone). On the positive note you won't accidently damage your ears like the manual warns. The control buttons are tiny plastic so close together, not suitable for all finger thicknesses that you need to feel around for to be certain of selections; the interior cloth/foam driver lining is very thin and may wear out quickly?; the adequate headband cushion could be a little thicker for longevity and long durations of use.
*Note* - Inside ear cup: Slightly protruding center waveguide not suitable for every ear shape.
Gimmicky above adequate packaging and gimmicky inadequate accessories such as 12" usb-a to usb-c cable that I would have to hang from the wall outlet with my headphones on the floor or connected to and charging on top of my closed laptop lid(limited desk space). I know where I can plug this short cord into... my potentially wet kitchen countertop appliance outlets. why do they even make these??
Then there is the haphazard inline control located on your shoulder or at neck level with the 3.5mm cable which brings me to the MUST download full(barely full) user manual with no definitive instructions for using included trs-trrs wire.
*FYI*: TRS into headphones- TRRS into phone
So, is the $ price tag justified?? ehh...(yes/no handscales) Being that I'm into these headphones for over $ considering costs of functional cables, $ for 6ft coiled 3.5mm to 3.5mm with 1/4" adapter and $ for 6ft usb-c cable, plus the costs of taxes. Emphasis on Merchandise over Merchandising would have been better in this case.
Because, they really do sound good and the styling fits. So far so good, If they hold up for a significant amount of time, I will definitely be pleased.
