Mackies CR4-XBT 4 inch Monitors with Bluetooth

I really like the clear sounds and I can hear higher high notes and lower low notes than on my previous stereo speakers. These Mackie monitors sound so good, I have 3 pairs of them at home on three different computer systems because they are more affordable than the rest not to mention I can bluetooth from my phone or ipad as well, I quit using stereo speakers on my computers completely, they just don't sound nearly as good as these monitors do.

A Little Powerhouse

I have been enjoying these speakers for my computer in the kitchen. As a 69 year old musician for the past 53 years, sound is particularly important to me in every room in my house as well as my studio. My hearing isn't what it used to be but I still require clarity, punch on the bottom, and a crisp top end. The CR4-XBT set has satisfied that for me. I haven't really used the Bluetooth yet.

The only thing I could've wished for is porting on the front instead of the rear to avoid a little booming if located to close the wall.

Good set of monitors for your studio

I have thoroughly enjoyed my Mackie CR4-XBT. The Bluetooth is great for listening to tracks from a device. They have alot of power. Great low end and mid, the high is okay. For the price I don't think you will get much better.

The monitors are great for the price. The Bluetooth is a nice feature.

Listen up

I wouldn't want to get carried away and say that my basement is a studio or even that these are monitors rather than speakers but they are a perfect accompaniment to my needs, getting the best out of my desktop computer. I give them four stars rather than five since I assume that the next next size up are even better.
But I would certainly give Chris Kress five stars as the best salesman I can remember encountering. Give this man a promotion.
