That was something... and, well... I liked it.
Things I liked:
🧡 The writing: This is my first read by the author and I'll be reading more by her. It's not too basic yet not too much.
🧡 The spice: Yup, the scenes were one of the best I've read on the hot scale.
🧡 The ending: I liked the whole romantic suspense that is going on in the read and the ending makes you pick the next book!
Things I wasn't impressed with:
⚫ The male lead: He is so much better than the leads in dark romances that I've read but, apart from the sexy scenes, I wanted to know more about his character. I'm hoping that we'll get more information about the character in the sequel.

Some moments will have you squirming in your panties while your mind conjures up the filthiest pictures. Sigh... So good!!

This book is a BDSM, dark, erotica romance novel. It is suspenseful and thrilling and pack with emotion. The smut is spicy and hot, everything you could want from dark romance. I’ve learned to expect the unexpected with the Merciless world and Willow Winters did NOT disappoint with this one.
If you haven’t read the books in the Merciless world, you have too. I suggest starting with A Kiss To Tell, A Kiss To Deep, Possessive, Seductive, All He’ll Ever Be and Irresistible Attraction. This series is seriously chef's kiss 💋

The Merciless world is pretty much my one Willow Winters reading experience, and there’s a reason many consider this world to be her best- it is just so freaking hot. In this outing, we have Braelynn, our heroine, who has finally escaped her abusive relationship, and thanks to a friend, she finds herself a job as a cocktail waitress at what she thinks is a standard old club- turns out, it’s a sex club, run by none other than Declan Cross- the baby brother of the Cross crew and an old high school acquaintance. Things get all steamy, BDSY-y and possessive-y super fast, as Declan and Braelynn explore their more kinky fantasies and their scorching attraction to each other where Declan finds lots of control- the perfect satisfaction for his trust issues and a safe way for Braelynn to explore her needs. There’s some side plots with a rat in his club, and of course, a ginormous cliffhanger. It’s fast paced, super steamy, quick romance read- certainly would easily be contained in one book, but where’s the fun in that?

This book was STEAMY and that ending OMG?!?!
This book follows Declan the owner of an exclusive club and Braelynn who gets a job in the club. Declan and Braelynn know each other from their past and they can’t help the chemistry between them. Are their secrets going to break them?
This book is steamy and has a bdsm relationship. The ending does end on a cliffhanger and I need the next book asap!

This was so unexpected. I have had a love-hate relationship with the Cross brothers. I didn’t really like Carter and thought that maybe that would mean that I would never vibe with this family. But Declan cross is the king. This story was everything! It was spicy it had sweets it gave all of the emotion. I was invested in this pairing from moment one. I enjoyed that the childhood bond didn’t dictate how the relationship unfolded here. I cannot stress enough how good this book is. If you are a fan of a mafia story, if you are a fan of spice I highly recommend. And that ending?! Ms. Winters, I need you to bring on the next book ASAP!

Willow Winters know how to get you suck up in a dark and sinful romance story.
Declan Cross is more ruthless than I was expecting but I wouldn’t have him either way. He had me on the edge throughout this book and that damn cliffhanger had me gasp out loud because damn, I wanted more and that was brutal. I can’t wait to read the next books in this trilogy and I’m looking forward to see where these two are taking their game out.
If you love dark romance with lots of steamy and suspenseful moments, this one is definitely something to look up.

I really wanted to like this book, really. Considering in the past year, I have not minded reading BDSM books because some of them have been faithful to an accurate relationship of BDSM between two consenting partners. And I am always curious how romance is different for every person, how it plays in their life.
THIS ONE WAS NOT - I REPEAT - ACCURATE.
This book really zoomed past the heroine's abusive and toxic relationship with her ex, and how she now comes to work for the supposed Cross Brothers, in a nightclub owned by one of them, through her friend's recommendation.
Sounds familiar?
Well this was almost how fifty shades of grey played out, so. No exes though.
Then we quickly zoom ahead to her finding out which Cross Brother owns the nightclub and tangling in the past and now present with one of them.
No confessions, no feelings, no explanations of what happened in the past.
S**. We get lots of it, because this is an Erotica Romance with some plot.
And then we get to the DNF part - the consent part - doesn't exist by the way.
She becomes uncomfortable during one of their sessions, and HE- oh no, he just continues.
Now even in consent non consent - which is dubious consent, you still get told that you do have consent to back out of the relationship.
But you know what this isn't even made clear properly - and you still expect me to support this sh**?
No thanks. I am out.
No, Willow's amazing writing wasn't enough to save this one. I needed convincing characters (not people who are unsure of what they're even doing in the book), erotica (Which didn't seem forced), and actual plot being followed (seems to disappear halfway in the book in favour of s**ual favours).
I needed anything but this. Is all I am saying.
And yes as you guessed, I will probably not be reading the second book.

Uhmmm well hello there Declan, I mean Sir. This book should come with a warning to have a fan while reading it.
When Braelynn went into her new job as a waitress, she definitely didn't expect that her boss would be someone she knew from high school or how much he had changed and she definitely couldn't see where this would have brought her.
"Maybe we're just two broken pieces trying to fit together, but cutting each other instead."
The book was suspenseful, with the proper amount of angst such book should have, hot hot hot moments and of course an evil cliffhanger that we now must endure until the next book. If you like something quick and naughty, if you like mafia romance, BDSM, kinky fuckery and angst, pick it up!

Declan, the club's owner and the youngest of the Cross brothers, was once close friends with Braelynn. That didn't go well though. However, after leaving a failed, toxic, and abusive relationship, Braelynn moves, and her best friend (Scarlett) persuades her to apply for a position at this club as a waitress. You see where this is going.. They eventually meet, and it's not your typical cordial encounter. It marks the start of the process that will make Braelynn his personal whore.
I could go on and on about this, but let me just say that this family and this entire story is amazing. I adore how the rat-finding storyline was interspersed with hot sex scenes.
ALSO THE ENDING.... TIME TO MOVE ON.

Tease Me once is seductive, and dark, and taboo. I enjoyed every moment of it! If you’re a fan of the Cross brothers and have been dying for Declan’s story—look no further because it has arrived!
In fact, I haven’t even read the main books in the Merciless world yet, just another one of the spin-off series, and found this one super easy to get into and enjoy, despite that. So if you haven’t read any of the other stories following the Cross family, I wouldn’t worry too much about jumping in here! Actually, it made me want to read them even more, now!
Declan Cross runs one of the hottest clubs, where his patrons get up to all kinds of fun, to say the least. Braelynn’s fried helps her get a job at the club but she is blindsided when she discovers the man who runs it is a memory from the past: Declan.
What ensues is a passionate game of cat and mouse and neither are willing to let the other out of their sight, even when the suspense is kicked up a notch and Declan discovers someone close to him is a mole.
If you’re looking for a quick, intense, and steamy read, this is the one!

OH MY GOD???? that cliffhanger was so evil i can’t
before i get into it, let me say that after this, i definitely have to read the merciless world. like i’ve been like apprehensive to start it because it’s so long and there’s so many books but i literally fell in love with the author’s writing style through this book so now i have to read everything!
moving on, this book was so good! i literally ate this up under two hours and now i have to wait MONTHS for book two omg. but yeah, declan and brae’s chemistry was through the roof. their smut???? god tier, i mean every scene was bomb. they have some cute moments that are definitely swoon-worthy, and some smut scenes that were so hot, i literally had to close the book and stare. even though the book was short, it’s enough to have me more than invested in both the characters and the plot. i NEED to know what happens next!

Book 1 in the new series, Shame on You by W. Winters. Loved Declan and Braelynn. Their relationship was off the charts hot. The chemistry between them radiated off the pages. You won’t want to put this book down once you pick it up. The only reason I stopped reading it was because it ended. I can’t wait for the next book. I have to know what happens to Declan and Braelynn.

OMFG!!! I am so excited that Declan Cross is here. I have been waiting and waiting for his story for forever and Willow did not disappoint one bit. If I could, I would give this more than five stars. I could not stop once I started. I was gripped from the beginning all the way to the end. I kept looking for more pages. I am surprised my kindle did not combust. Declan and Braelynn’s story is hot, spicy, steamy, erotic, intense, and heartstoppingly good. Declan is the youngest Cross brother and has a lot on his shoulders and it shows. He knew Braelynn or at least who she was when they were younger, so when she starts working at his club as a waitress, he ends up promoting her as his assistant and oh my, does the chemistry start to just scorch the pages. Have a fan or glass of water nearby to cool down. Willow has knocked the beginning of Declan’s story out of the park. I can’t wait to see what happens. Buckle up for a hot and wild ride with my man. I loved this story and the end….. Woah!!😳😳🤯🤯 My head was blown.

I have been waiting for this man for so long! Apparently because of a busy life, I had to put this book aside and pause reading for a few days but omg, I just finished and I am Shooketh!!! It's so good.
Declan Cross is the true devil. He is ruler sitting on his throne, slaughtering anyone who comes in his way. That is until the woman of his dreams comes back. And now he won't let her leave. She is trapped with him and the offer he has made her won't let her leave him. It's all a game and he will make sure that he is the winner by the end of this all.
I am so excited for this series now! The starting was a blast and I can only hope what the author has in store for us now. It's that good. Declan cross is the new villain in town and I definitely recommend you all to meet this man ASAP! All dark romance lovers will definitely love him.

Declan Cross, the youngest of the Cross Brothers but the most restless and reckless. This story is sinfully delicious and full of lust and BDSM themes that leaves you heaving for your next breath.
I feel like I was trying to bring myself to swim through these pages that held me captive from the very beginning. Because we all know what the Cross Brothers represent, darkness, a storm of reckless mayhem and Braelynn lands herself in the thick of it.
What starts off as a job opportunity with Declan Cross turns into a plain and simple Sin. A control that will tailspin Braelynn into a haze of desire that takes her out of her depth of a relationship that requires so much trust, but who is trusting whom.
This was everything I wanted in the Merciless world. Declan is just hell in a deadly suit. Can’t wait for more.

This was my first Willow Winters book and I’m hooked!! This book reads sooo easy and fast, I absolutely loved it!!
It’s a long time ago that I was really into a romance book and that I forgot that I was reading. I was intrigued, invested and really shocked at the end.
I love how Declan has the “touch her and you will (literally) die” vibe but has a soft spot for Braelynn but just doesn’t want to admit it 🙈 and the spice in this one is immaculate and really hot 🥵
I really want to read book 2 ASAP. I was sad it was over and I can’t wait to read more about Declan & Braelynn and the world she got dragged into because she has a soft spot for the bad guy. (I finished this one in less than 24 hours btw)

If you liked the Merciless series this is Declan & Braelynn's story.
I loved this book, Their chemistry was instant. I loved how Declan softened himself around whilst maintaining his domineering side and I loved how Braelynn started to come out of her shell once she started working at the club and started a relationship with Declan.
This book was intense with mystery and secrets and I read it in one sitting, The only dissapointing thing was I did not realise this was a duet and it ended on a cliffy and I just could have kept reading their story for hours, Willow had me hooked for the get go and I cannot wait for the rest of the series.

Willow Winter has done it again. This book caught my attention from the first page. It was a fast-paced, full of action story that kept me on the edge of my seat. Hot, sexy, dark, romantic, intimate, erotic, dirty... The list can go on and on to describe Tease me Once. The plot just sucked me in, there was a perfect amount of suspense, mystery, passion, and emotion and that ending left me begging for more. And i have a feeling Declan might just become my favourite Cross brother. Can't wait for the next installment!

I have amended my review after Willow engaged in a smear campaign against a victim of SA.
I enjoyed certain aspects of this, Brae’s coming to terms with what her relationship to Declan is was very cool to see pan out. But unfortunately things happen way too quickly in this book. We didn’t get any information despite it being a multi-perspective novel, and I felt as lost as Brae most of the time.
The insta-love bothered me greatly. One week in and she’s already in love? She doesn’t even question her love for him when she finds out what he did to Travis? I just… I can’t get behind that.
Declan is a terrible dom honestly. He doesn’t perform the necessary aftercare when she cowers from him. He doesn’t read the room well enough to see what she needs. He doesn’t understand her well enough before just barreling into a relationship and a dynamic she knows nothing about. He doesn’t look after her mental well-being in a way that should make her feel good about the relationship.
Scarlett didn’t get nearly enough pages to prove she was the mole. They just pinned it on her and Brae and called it done. It made very little sense to me. I’d have loved a scene where they showed Scarlett betraying them. Or Brae betraying them. Declan just… accepts it and goes forward with a plan. It’s infuriating to be frank.
Quite a few grammar and spelling and punctuation errors in this one sadly. It had me yelling at my kindle a few times.

Delcan, dear sweet Jesus Willow hits you were it feels so wrong yet so beyond good. Possessive isn't a strong enough word to describe the way this man operates. The dark reality of his world will suck you in and leave you with a cliffhanger enough to get emotion drunk on. The next book can't come soon enough.

Wow. That was… wow. I knew Declan could become my favorite Cross brother, and he’s on his way, definitely.
Don’t get me wrong, he isn’t a good man. At all. He may even be the more ruthless in a the family, especially since his brothers got themselves a love life. Alone–lonely?–burdened with the feeling that he owes his brother because he’s the youngest and they took care of him for so long, aware that the whole organization depends on him since his brothers are occupied elsewhere, he has learned to hide his emotions. So well that they’re hidden from him too. What an interesting character.
Even more interesting when he sees Braelynn, whom he knew when they were kids, and wants her. Though he isn’t in touch with his feelings, he’s in touch with his needs. And that’s when he decides that he has to learn some empathy so his very special relationship with Braelynn doesn’t go south. I fell in love with the character right then.
What special relationship, you ask? Dominant and pet, with a side of spanking. She’s here to please him–but that doesn’t mean that there’s no reward for her. Though it seems almost non consensual, there are clear signs that Braelynn enters the relationship with her consent, though she doesn’t yet understand what it entails exactly. And there are moments when the power changes hands. I loved that.
Though there are hints of deeper feelings, it’s mostly lust and attraction. That makes for a very sexy book. Almost erotica. I won’t complain though, because the chemistry between them was amazing.
The bonus is the suspensful plot. There are undercover cops trying to trap the Cross brothers, and Declan has to uncover them. It was intriguing. With that, and a great cliffhanger, I can’t wait to read the next book!
