To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.
Good powerful light - I drilled and tapped holes in the yoke to attach a softbox; this works with my standard softboxes now. At ISO 200, 1/60th., I get about F4 with the softboxes at about 5', standard interview setup. And that's with the center diffuser. Really bright, color is great, I'm not a huge fan of all the dangly cables and boxes, but then again, encasing the whole thing in a softbox, I can control it since the box is remote. And the wireless works well too.
Very powerful professional light. Well made. Unbeatable price. However, sometimes, after a couple of hours of use, it starts to flicket. I guess it's a defective unit. Turn it off, leave it to rest a couple of minutes, restart it, and problem solved. However this could be a headache if it happens in the middle of a shooting session. For the rest, a very reliable product. Very worth the price.
