Sebastian Black is a rich nightclub owner who is of course hot as hell.
He has this LITTLE BLACK BOOK
Inside my book was a buffet of women who were willing and ready for my call. Each one specialized in something different, and each one was named after a cartoon character of my choosing

He will put you in his book under 2 conditions

There are only two rules:
DON'T EVER DENY ME.
DON'T FALL IN LOVE.

If you do either, I’ll remove you from my book and payment stops.

1st thing that didn't work for me: The payment

So in his book are women who are willing and ready for his call but why does he have to pay the girls if he is that awesome in bed? Wouldn't they also do it for free? Makes no sense.

Anyway..

The heroine has no job and just lost her home. And she also needs to take care of her little brother. You can say her life sucks.

But then Sebastian comes along and offers her to put her in his little book, of course NOT in a charming way. He was basically offering her to pay her for sex and companionship. I think he could have asked in a more nicer way.

2nd thing that didn't work for me: The virginity
At first she refuses his offer because she doesn't want to sell her virginity. But when her problems get more worse and Sebastian lets her stay in his home for one night she thinks:

It was insane, sure, but what if I took Sebastian’s offer?
I had already decided that having sex with him sounded… intriguing.
And getting paid to do it? Well, hell. That was kind of a bonus in my current situation.

What also didn't work for me was that Sebastian was thinking of breaking all his rules for her already at about 20%. After meeting her 3 times he already knew she is different.

Of course I don't mind that direction but I think it was totally unbelievable after such a short time.

Also the heroine started to throw around with "I trust you"s at 22%.

I continued reading until 40% but nothing mentionable happened.. not even sex. So I just quit.

While this poor girl works her ass off so she can support herself and her little brother after they lost everything, this bastard is staring at her as she works for him as a waitress and fantasizes about how he is going to fire her so he can fuck her (because he is the owner and he does not mix business and pleasure... I mean, COME ON!
Oh, and he calls her Jessica because she's his "Jessica Rabbit" - EYE ROLL

*****5 DELICIOUSLY WICKED STARS*****

Do you love a dirty talking, cocky, sexier than fuck alpha male? Are you a fan of a dominant man that gets what he wants no matter what? Well - if you answered yes to those questions...then let me tell you all about Sebastian Black. I had the extreme pleasure (emphasis on pleasure) of reading an advance copy of Little Black Book, and I could not put it down. From the very first scene, it grabbed my attention - who knew a threesome could be so deliciously hot. This book set my little finger on fire - I couldn’t flip the pages on my kindle fast enough.

Sebastian Black is rich, dead sexy, and a self-proclaimed asshole of a man. He’s a fine specimen to look at, and he knows it. He relies on his good looks and masterful skills in the bedroom to secure a healthy contact list in his “little black book”. Now, this isn’t your typical black book that we are all used to hearing about...no, this is much, much different. To qualify, you have to follow his very specific set of rules. No love, no romance, no relationships - just mind blowing sex which he reimburses for handsomely to ensure no emotional connections are made. He takes it as far to not learn any of “his girls” real names - each is given a special nickname and they are to only refer to him as Mr. Black. It was dark, sexy and showed us his controlling nature. So very alpha. He appears to have the perfect life, everything he wanted was at his fingertips. A successful nightclub business, more money than he knows what do with...an endless supply of women at his beck and call. The only thing missing was his “Jessica Rabbit” - the fantasy enigma that he’s been searching for. The one nickname he kept reserved and unused.

Rosslyn “Roz” Harris is your typical sweetheart of a girl. Pure, kindhearted and innocent - she is the exact opposite of the girls that Sebastian usually propositions. A series of circumstances land Roz working as a waitress in Sebastian’s nightclub. When they crossed paths for the first time, the sparks were electrifying. But Roz isn’t from Sebastian’s world and convincing her to partake in his little black book rules was not an easy accomplishment. She challenged him every step of the way and I fucking loved it. The tale was spun artfully, I enjoyed how we learned about the depths of Sebastian’s character - the way his layers were peeled away the longer he was with Roz. She opened herself up to him and my God, the things he taught her! Left me panting for more and dying to get my name in his little black book.

A man doesn’t come to be the way Sebastian is without having demons from his past - and a girl like Roz doesn’t find herself working in a bar without running from her own traumatic past and terrible circumstances. When the two collide, its sizzling and explosive - the past meets the present in a shocking twist that will leave you reeling.

This was a 5 star read for me - I loved every second of it. Sebastian’s crude propositions and lifestyle should have been offensive, but for me it was wickedly hot. Tabatha and Melissa create a book that is not only deliciously sinful, but has in-depth characters and emotional scenes (yes I teared up a couple times!). Sebastian Black has completely kicked the asses of all other book boyfriends and claimed the top spot as the reigning dark king of sexiness. A lil blurb from him:

“Here’s what I’m offering you.” He reached into his pocket and pulled out a little black book. “I’ll put your number in my book, and when I want you, I’ll call you.” He leaned in close and I could smell his cologne. It smelled like hot sex, and spice. “And when I call you, you’ll come, in more ways than one.”
“I only have two rules. Don’t every deny me. And don’t fall inlove. As I said before, emotions are a messy things I’d prefer not to get involved in.”

What are you waiting for? Check out this book today and meet your new book boyfriend.

After all, Sebastian Says.

2.5 'Knob Slobber' stars.

Sorry, this review is probably one big fat spoiler. Read at your discretion.

So I just finished Little Black Book.

Dazed and confused photo: Dazed and Confused 1RM1qlnz9ko4_250_zpsdcccca21.gif

I'll start out by saying, that I am going to try my damnedest not to get sucked in to some of these books with these awesome blurbs. I've been getting burned on this lately. Fool me ___ times, and SHAME on me.

Where to start? You probably read the blurb and get the basics. Rich club owner, Sebastian Black has a little black book filled with women who he can call on for sex, at anytime. He also pays these women to be at his beck and call. And when he's done, he's done. Your name will be taken out of the LBB, and your payments will cease.

Right when you start, our hero is having sex with Wilma and Betty. Oh yes, I forgot to mention my favorite part. He does not want to know anything personal about the women so he names them cartoon characters. At first I thought this was kind of comical, but after reading more, it was just weird and kind of creepy.

He is looking for the elusive 'Jessica Rabbit', his perfect fuck mate. Enter Rosslyn Harris, the new waitress at his club. With her crimson hair and hourglass figure, she is Jessica Rabbit personified.

Rosslyn has been living with her brother and grandmother for the past 12 years, since her parents were murdered when she was 10. When her grandmother dies, she can barely keep her and her brother afloat. They are forced to live out of their car and Roz is starting to get desperate. Her friend gets her a job at the club she works at. Sebastian noticed her immediately, and gives her an offer she can't refuse. Join the Little Black Book club.

Since Sebastian does not mix business with pleasure, he fires her knowing she is destitute and will be forced to take his offer (jerk). Of course she takes it, right? He is just so attractive and she needs the money. Then we find out...she's also a virgin. Gah!

Eye roll photo: Eye roll bored-eccbc87e4b5ce2fe28308fd9f2a7baf3-282.gif

I won't go into all the details, but Sebastian and Rosslyn's pasts are connected in a big way. They fall for each other, and don't find out about the association until they are in love.

There were many things that bothered me throughout. What stuck out the most, was Roz was falling in love with someone who only called her Jessica! What? He didn't even want to know her real name, yet she was smitten. Okaaaaay...

She also had an extreme fear of guns, because of her past. So he took her to a shooting range to help soothe her fears, and before you know it she is getting off while rubbing up against a gun. The same object that held her deepest fears for the past 12 years, and in 2 minutes of being at the range, she is almost naked grinding herself up on it. Okaaaaay...

Sebastian also does a complete 180. He goes from asshole to love sick puppy within a few weeks. Okaaaaay...

I could probably go on and on. I gave it a couple of stars because I don't mind the hero being a dick. The steam factor was pretty decent too, albeit far-fetched. The secret/connection was predictable, but was still kind of interesting.

Overall this just lacked common sense. I know it's a book and made up for entertainment purposes, but I haven't rolled my eyes so often in a while. Proceed with caution. I don't think I am in the total minority here, but others seemed to really like this.

Would I recommend?

Let me start by saying that I really enjoyed this read. Alot more than I thought I would.

I was wondering, while reading, why so many people had issues with the lead H, Sebastian, though. Some DNF'd this read because of it, & some it took awhile for them to warm to him. I mean he was no more a jerk than 90% of the Alpha males out there in books, IMO.

He was alot more polished with his "Alpha-assness", though. And maybe that's why he didn't bother me. But then again, I like them rough around the edges too. Sometimes, I like them to be just completely flat out obnoxious too. I guess it all depends upon where my line is at the moment, and if they cross it or not. I know that early on, for some reason I already understood & sympathized with Sebastian. Even though I was nowhere near finding out his whole story yet. This too, I think is why his overall actions & reactions, did not bother me. So I enjoyed him throughout the whole book. Though it has to be said that some of the things he said & did, had me going from this...

To this...
 photo 10227198_zpsfa948d70.gif

I did like our lead heroine, Rossylyn. Given her circumstances, and where she found herself, I'd say she handled herself pretty well. I sympathized with her plight on many fronts. I could easily put myself where she was & contemplated if I too, would have chosen some of the things she did. Bottom line, she was likable and wasn't TSTL. Qualities I appreciate GREATLY in a heroine. I think her & Sebastian also have great chemistry together. I enjoyed watching their dynamic play out.

What changed the rules to the game with this story, and I loved it, was what occurs around the 79% mark of this book. It was completely unexpected. Beyond shocking & scary. And had me reacting like this...

I mean I closed my Kindle super fast when I read it. After I got my bearings & courage, I opened it again and read on. The details still jacked me up though.

Vick I don't like this chick at all. You hear me? I just want to do this to her..

Over and over again.

I do so love how this one ends, too.

So, overall I would recommend this read. It's sexy, it's entertaining and it managed to surprise me as well. And no cliffy either :)

Where in the world do all of these rich, hot guys come from that are paying ladies to be kept women??? Even though this storyline is a bit overused in the post-Christian Grey world of fictional romance, this book is one of the best I've read. While there are many similarities, there are also enough differences in this book to make it an entertaining and interesting read, without feeling like a cheap knock-off.

Sebastian started off on shaky ground with me. He was such an arrogant jerk that didn't seem to have a conscience at all. I mean, what type of scumbag fires a homeless woman taking care of a child, just so he can coerce her into selling her body to him?!? That was pretty low and I wasn't sure he'd be able to redeem himself. Yet, in time, he managed to weasel himself back into my good graces.

Rosslyn, aka Jessica, really couldn't catch a break! This poor girl had it rough and was barely holding it together. She was the epitome of a damsel in distress, but wasn't weak or irritating like so many others. In fact, it was her strength that drew me in. She was a survivor and a fighter for sure.

Together, these two burned up the pages! I couldn't put it down! A few twists and secrets kept it very entertaining but it was short enough that I didn't lose interest. Great story!

This was one of the best books, I've ever had the pleasure of reading . With a lot of the books I read there's often something that niggles me but with this book I loved everything on every page. It's told from dual POVs which I really like .
Meet Sebastian Black and his black book, when he calls you coming running he only has a few rules, don't use your real name and don't fall in love ! Sebastian is excatly how I like my fictional men cocky, sexy , smart, rocks a suit and has the dirtiest mouth around , perfection !
I also really liked Rosslyn, I often find female leads moany and manipulative, but there wasn't a bad bone in her body, she just wanted to be loved. In fact that's what they both were lacking love but would they be able to find love with each other ? Sebastian doesn't do relationships, romance and mushy stuff. Rosslyn believes in love. Romance and mushy stuff. So what will Rosslyn do when Sebastian wants her name in his black book
I really enjoy this book there were times when I laughed, cried and completely fell in love with the story, and so will you too !
Spend a few hours in the company of Mr Black

4 Do not Deny Me Stars

This is my first Tabatha Vargo and Melissa Andrea book. I was intrigued by the summary and I wanted a steamy alpha male read.

Overall, The Little Black Book was an easy, short, little steamy read. It has little to no angst, which is something I like.

Summary

Sebastian is a very closed off person. He’s so closed off that he pays women to sleep with him. He feels that if he pays the women then they can’t get attached to him. He keeps his women’s contacts in his “little black book”. Depending on his mood, he will call them and they must drop everything to be with Sebastian.

He has two rules, he is never denied and the women can’t fall in love with him.

Throughout all of this, Sebastian is looking for his “Jessica Rabbit”, the girl of his dreams. He sees that in the new girl that works at his club, Rosslyn.

Rosslyn

Rosslyn is your typical damsel in distress character (which you know I have a soft spot for). Her parents are dead and her care-taker, grandmother, just died. She’s twenty-two and must take care of her tween little brother. She doesn’t have money and she’s desperate to get a job.

I liked how strong Rosslyn is, but at times she did frustrate me. Her pride got in her way a lot. Instead of just picking up any job (which I would do, if I needed to care for someone else), she was kind of picky. She couldn’t see herself working at club and it took her so long to finally apply for the job, she was almost homeless.

Sebastian

I get what the authors were trying to do with the Hero. I wanted a damaged, rich, alpha male and I got it, but sometimes he felt like a cliché. Like all the boxes were being checked off in what kind of a Hero a gal like me would want to read. Sebastian is a jerk and it kind of irritated me that he put Rosslyn sometimes in desperate situations so she could go to him for help.

Overall

I thought the read was okay and it wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t anything over the top. I thought it could have been longer and there could have been more character development. I didn’t understand the purpose of the little brother towards the middle to end of the book (you will get what I mean).

I felt like it took forever to get Rosslyn to the point where she was one of Sebastian’s clients and the summary became misleading because I thought that was what she was. Instead it was about two broken people having an attraction towards each other and putting their past issues aside to start a relationship.

So, like I said, it’s a very quick easy read with a simple plot.

Sebastian Black is your typical, alpha club owner who also owns a little black book full of women who he calls to service him with no strings attached because Mr. Black does not do love or relationships, just sex he doesn't even want to know their names only the cartoon names that he gives to them. Until he meets Rosslyn Harris who is living in a car with her 13 year old brother and gets a job working as a waitress at Mr. Black's club, but Sebastian wants more of Rosslyn than she ever realizes and that's why he has to fire her so he can take her to his bed and add her name to his little black book. The story line was predictable until the secret twist at the end that was unexpected but that was all crammed into the last few chapters. The sex was really hot and the characters were typical of this kind of story.

***3 Overly Complicated Stars***

Sebastian Black is a successful club owner with a shady past, he grew up in foster care and having to fight for life's essentials he had no choice but to do a lot of despicable things to survive. Years later, he is now rich, handsome but utterly broken, he doesn't believe in love or relationships of any kind. The only person close to to him is his friend Vicky, who grew up with him on the streets and she is now his personal assistant. Sebastian loves sex, and the way he gets it is through his little black book. This address book is filled with women's names, he pays them a monthly salary and they are suppose to be available to him whenever he desires. Depending on what he is in the mood for he would call a different girl every night, he doesn't want to know their names, or to get close to them, he only uses them for sex. In order to avoid closeness he names the girls himself, everyone after a cartoon character; he has a Wilma, Betty, Bambi and so on...

He's dream is to find a red head bombshell to be his Jessica Rabbit, and one night she walks into his club looking for a job. Rosslyn Harris, just got her world pulled from under her. Her parents died when she was young and her a her little brother grew up with their grandma who has recently died, leaving them both living out their car. Desperate for a job to provide for her brother, Rosslyn seeks employment at Sebastian Black's club. On her second night, she gets fired by her new sexy boss, only to be propositioned by him to have sex for money. Her dream has always been to find true love and share everything about her with the man of her dreams, never in a million years she thought she be accepting a wicked offer of sex in exchange for money only because she is drowning in problems...

 photo imagejpg1_zps3e959cf2.jpg

When I first heard about this book I was intrigued by the plot which seemed very promising, but little after I started reading I noticed the excessive unrealistic embellishments and that didn't sit well with me. I hated Sebastian's character, how he took advantage of Rosslyn situation to get her to sleep with him, and poor girl, I really couldn't understand how so many bad things could happen to one person. She was weak, virginal and very naive and I hated that she allowed him to called her by a different name. There's a twist at the end of the story that gave me whiplash, just when I thought everything possible or impossible had happened, the author added yet another crazy detail, making this book ridiculously unreal. There were so many things I would have changed about this novel, it kills me to read a book that could have been good, but was made into a hot mess just for the sake of adding unnecessary angst.

4.25 STARS!!!!

I guarantee you, if the blurb doesn't grab you, the first page sure as hell will!!!

Sebastian Black is a pig, albeit a strikingly seductive and attractive pig in a tailored suit. He doesn’t do relationships. He doesn’t do feelings. And, he sure as hell doesn’t do love. He fucks…. plain and simple…. whoever he wants… whenever he wants….where ever he wants… nothing more, nothing less. That is, untiiiiiiiil he lays eyes on her…..

Sebastian has no problems being emotionless toward the women he sleeps with. It’s served him well in the past and makes things simple and manageable. He doesn’t even want to know their names, it becomes too personal when names are involved. He even gives each of his “girls” a name for crying out loud!?!?!?!? And just wait until you discover his naming convention (I will say it’s somewhat brilliant but also disgusting at the same time).

Sebastian starts to discover a soft spot for his new “girl”. She turns him inside out and messes with his rules. (**Gasp**) And, that doesn’t happen…….. EVER! Could it be that Sebastian has found his unicorn? You know…. that elusive and mythical creature. Can she turn a pig into a gentleman? Or is Sebastian destined to just be a pig in a tailored suit?

Simply, this book was hard to put down. It’s sexy, dirty, and sweet all at the same time. The sexual tension between the pair is undeniable. Tabatha and Melissa do an excellent job building up the anticipation and lust. It was so thick I could barely see past the sexual tension not to mention Sebastians blue eyes. I am ecstatic this story is told in alternating POVs. I loved being inside the head of both the male and female MCs at the same time.

And, OMFG!!! The plot twists (yes, that’s plural) at the end were just the perfect topping to an already fabulous book. I don’t know if I was hoping that the twists at the end were fleshed out a bit more because I didn’t want the story to end or the fact that it felt a bit rushed.

***Go introduce yourself to Mr. Sebastian Black…. You’ll be glad you did.***

Sometimes it really sucks to be shit at writing reviews and this is one of those times. Do not judge this book from it's title or from the synopsis, it does nothing towards showing you what you get from this.

Sebastian Black is your typical alpha male book prick, he's rich, hot, domineering and gets whatever he wants whenever he wants it. Love isn't a word he likes in his world and if you so much as hint at feeling it for him you're kicked out of his life.

No I didn't have a problem with him using women for sex, I knew what I was getting into when I started this. He actually looks after the women he has in his little black book, that's a lot more than many men do. Those women knew the deal and accepted it along with multiple orgasms - what's to complain about?!

When he meets Rosslyn he sees her as his ultimate prize, her innocence and naivety pull him in, he'll do whatever needs to be done to make her his.

"I'd known from the first time I saw her that she was different"

Rosslyn is at her lowest when she takes a job at his club to support herself and her little brother. She thinks Sebastian is nuts when he proposes his deal to her but she has to consider it seriously. The sexual attraction obviously helps with that decision and you can see were the book is going from early on.

That takes nothing away from how this story progresses and the man Sebastian turns into. The twists that are revealed were well done and at no point in this book did I skim, which is saying a lot from me lately.

Right at the end I was ready to murder someone thinking it was going to be a cliffhanger, but luckily it wasn't and my little heart did a happy dance!

*** ARC REVIEW ***

Be prepared LBB starts off with a bang, one that will have you clinching your thighs together not even 3 pages in.

Sebastian Black has it all. Owner of the most hottest night club, money to burn and woman at his beck and call.

His little black book is filled with ladies that will do anything for him, but with all the women he has, he's still searching for the elusive Jessica Rabbit, the myth.

Mr. Black has two rules for the ladies in his life
1. Don't ever deny him
2. Don't fall in love with him

He just wants their bodies, with no strings attach. All has worked until he meets her.

Rosslyn Harris's life has once again crumbled around her. Getting a job at Clive's will set everything in motion, because that's when she catches Sebastian's eye... She's his Jessca Rabbit.

"She's my Jessica"- Sebastian

With a proposition from Mr.Black, one that can help herself and her little brother, she can't refuse it, even if that means becoming another name in his little black book.

"Jessica" is a challenge, one Sebastian will except.

Rosslyn will have Sebastian feel things his never felt, she's the reason he has his rules. He can't let this happen.

Everything is going better than they thought, they've surprised their self, but when Sebastian's dark secret is unearth, will it ruin everything? Can one overlook the most horrible thing that happen to them?

Little Black Book is one of my top reads in 2014! I read this book in less than a day. As soon as you start reading it grabs you and will immediately have you panting, every book needs to start off that way. Sebastian Black has given Mr. Grey a run for his money in my eyes. His is an alpha, demanding, sexy, private, my way or no way character. He wants what he wants and goes for it. My God, I will be thinking or Sebastian and his dirty mouth for days. Rosslyn Harris is a character who doesn't know her own beauty. She's shy, with not a lot of sexual inexperience. She stands her ground, but once she is broken, that's when she goes to Mr.Black. I loved how she grew in this book, she found her sexuality and her voice. With all the amazing sex scenes and I'm telling you there is a lot, there is also a growing relationship. Two people finding each other, two people who complete each other. I loved their chemistry, they have a love hate relationship in the beginning, but soon they can't fight the unavoidable. Vick, ugh i freaking hate her. I wanted to throat punch her!!!! With everything there is a back story, these are two people that had a hard pass, one that will bring them together. I definitely didn't see that secret coming. I was shocked as hell to read those words. This book has absolutely everything one needs and I'm not kidding. I loved reading from each of their POVs. Ive never read about a belt and gun like i did in Little Black Book. Be prepared ladies ;) I give this book 5 stars!!!

First 30% one star. Second 50% 3 stars. The rest 1 star. Spoilerage below.....
This started out with a totally unlikable H who is a millionaire sleaze ball. He has the cliche (as all millionaire sleaze balls do now in these books) foster care upbringing. This book is short, so no explanation given why he's in foster care. The h has a new job at his club. He finds out she is homeless and her and her 13 year old brother are living in a car. So what does he do? Fires her. Why? Because he wants to make her his prostitute and put her in his little black book! Sigh
So at this point I'm about to DNF.

So of course....she's a virgin with morals and refuses him.
Of course next day she forgets her morals and takes him up on it.
So next , pick your mis mash of typical cliche things that happen next. (Buys her a home, she has a driver now and money on credit card ect.)

Then she finds out his foster sister who works for him (and is secretly in love with him) committed a murder which he helped cover up. Guess who they killed? Did our little h turn them over to the police? Well of course not!
Two stars.

HOLY MOTHER!!!! I hated Sebastian Black when I started this book, he was such a cold hearted bastard. And cocky as all get out. BUT, I have to admit his little book of ladies and why they were named what they were made me chuckle. Very original. LOL!

This book was something I thought I would like, not something I would LOVE but I did. Love it. It was Fifty Shades meets Pretty Woman meets something totally new and hot and completely unexpected. Sebastian's tainted past and Roz's painful childhood make them a pair of broken souls that need each other to heal and become one.

When things seem to be getting to a perfect place for the two of them, something unbelievably tragic makes it all seem impossible for them to continue with a future together.

This book was amazing, super sexy, heart breaking, stomach in knots kind of awesome. I highly recommend it and just wish there was more Sebastian Black. He definitely gives the Christian Greys of the world a run for their money. 5 stars- Kellie

I could've easily skipped this one.
The way Sebastian falls for Ross made no sense at all. He goes from womanizer to falling in love so abruptly, I didn't feel the so-called 'love'. Then, he keeps sleeping with her AFTER knowing what he did to her. He's so selfish he'd rather not tell her the truth than lose her. Does he have no regard for Ross?
Ross was okay, I guess. I can respect her choices and understand where she was coming from. If I had a little brother depending on me and no money, you bet your ass I'd be doing God-knows-what to keep him safe and happy. I wasn't so keen to her when she forgave him so easily.

In all, the book wasn't for me. It wasn't a bad read but I could've been reading something else.

Ma veniamo all'incredibile protagonista :Q_

No, dico io. Sebastian è mooolto intelligente e padrone della situazione. In questo modo mette in chiaro fin dall'inizio che nessun sentimento sarà mai coinvolto. Solo sesso.

Read at your own risk or interest ;0)

Christ I need a moment to gather my thoughts on this one......
I really did like this book BUT there is a f**cking huge BUT....I found myself having quite a few internal monologues saying WTF ?

Okay, I shall explain the book really p*ssed me off on a damn good level because ultimately Ros(the heroine) was basically prostituting herself. A high class pro mind you, but yep she was a pro non the less.

Whether it was for good reasons as stated in the story - destitution or whatever. Or the fact she need money to help her brother with the whole "art camp" thingy.......whatever. If the s*it hits the fan, yeah ya gotta do what ya gotta do, but the fact that Ros had gotten to 22 and still had her V card suggested to me that she was waiting for some-one special. Also, she appeared in the story quite naive, "can I touch it" and "blush creaping up" here there and every where.

I am NOT getting out my rosary and doing a holier than thou thing but come on people MIND F*CK. Ros gets manipulated by a guy (Seb the hero - although to me thats debatable), who is basically a pimp with his "black book " of girls that he shags. Oh yes, lets not forget Seb "keeps them to financially", so again he has a bunch of high class hooches. What a catch he is.

The fact that to have his own way the selfish ba**tard sack's Ros from her job at his club, so then can persue her. His little thing is paying a monthly allowance to own her, thus making sure she is finacially dependant on him. And his fee for his dollors....oh yeah sex (or whatever) he wants whenever he wants it.

To fuel my p*ssed off fire Seb refuses to know Ros's name and refers to her as "Jessica". F**k !! come on bitch, you'll let this bastard treat you like crap and you knowingly agree to his shit, all for the dollors !!. Repeat after me P.R.O.S.T.I.T.U.T.E.

At no point does Ros try to make it on her own. And yes I am channeling my inner feminist. Ros makes referrence in the story when he buy's her a condo to live in with her brother that "this is temporary" but she does jack s*it to change anything. Role model ?!!!!

Does she EVER think erm.....maybe I (and my brother) could be out on our arses, if Seb decides he's bored or if she accidentally says her name, or cannot be available to him !! - that would be a NO she doesn't. Shes happy to coast along for the money train.

I know, I know its a book and the idea is promising but f*ck at no point does Ros "man up" so to speak and sort her life out, except for when the "twist" in the story occurs.

So like I said again she is a prostitute !
The fact that she ends up giving "dirty dick" her virginity baffled me. He soooo needed a clean bill to ensure no STD's were mooching around.
Ros is just pleased that since meeting her he has not seen any-one else out of his black book.....WTF ?!!!. Show some Aretha Franklin...RESPECT !!. Ros should be all BURN THE BOOK YOU B*stard !! Its ME and NO-ONE else you lucky f*ck. Can I get an amen ?!!!
Any how, Ros in my opinion needed to have a long think about how bloody many names were in the thing !.
Okay people rant over. I did enjoy the book honest and arguably the sign of a good author is to emote feelings......so well done Tabatha !!
I loved the HEA, but s*it it grated me getting there.
I would recommend this book. See what you think ;0)

Apha-hole Sebastian Black has a little book where he keeps all his booty calls listed under cartoon names and keeps them on the hook until he thinks he’s in love with them, then he cuts them loose. Until he meets his “Jessica Rabbit,” the perfect woman - real name Rosslyn Harris. Then he’ll do anything to get her, but he doesn’t realize the effect she’ll have on him.
description
The Good
I went into this book knowing Sebastian’s an alpha-hole...and really, it’s pretty clear from the blurb that he’s going to be one, so his actions didn’t surprise me. The book starts with a sexual encounter with Wilma & Betty, so I can see that being a turn off to some folks, but I can appreciate the turn from man-ho to romantic hero, as long as he keeps his mitts off other women once he’s involved with the heroine (there’s a sketchy moment there, but it doesn’t go all the way, so I could deal). Here, Sebastian does have that journey, even though he fights it.

The chemistry between Sebastian and Roz is strong, and builds with every encounter. His need to control the women with false names was a self-defense mechanism, but his actions were protective of Roz, and his need to help her from the very beginning was sweet. There are tender moments, even if there’s not alot of talking being done.

The Not So Good
When it comes down to it, I’m not sure how these two knuckleheads actually fall in love since it all seems to be tied to their sexual chemistry, which is pretty strong. By the time they start to get personal, the book’s pretty much over. Vick felt like a very obvious villain, and the reveal at the end felt inevitable.

description
It wasn’t bad, but there was a lack of emotional development that kept me from investing in the romance. If you don’t mind an alpha-hole, or if that’s your thing, you may enjoy this.

3 Very Generous Stars

Doesn't the blurb sound sooo amazing and like a kick-ass book with a killer alpha? Something to look forward reading to? Well, I've read it in 5hrs...and uhm yeah... don't let yourself fool you, Little Black Book, is just that: LITTLE!

It's was an ok read. Somehow I expected more, a lot more - you know I was looking forward to read about a great alpha, cocky as hell, that knows what he wants etc. etc. Yeah I wasn't really sold. He fell a bit too fast, did a complete 180 out of the blue and even though the plot had lots of potential (I really like the whole back story) it fell a bit flat for me.

Yes it was steamy, yes he was hot and had a filthy mouth, but I didn't feel or believe the connection which the characters had to another or made me believe they have. Roz, the female lead, was so so naive and a freaking virgin- I can't even. Many things about her character bugged the crap out of me and I just couldn't. She trusted him in the first 20%, like really??!?! I was surprised she didn't spread-eagle right away smh!

Sebastian really pissed me off at the beginning because he fired her for his own benefit? Because after seeing her for the FIRST TIME he thinks she's the one?? Psssh please, no! Then after seeing her, and having somewhat of an interaction he knows she's different and his Jessica?? That's the exact reason why I stopped reading so many straight romance books - it's boring, unbelievable and very predictable.
Oh did I mention it's his fault she ended up in jail (for a few hrs), too, and that her brother got taken! I mean, seriously, wth. And Vick, his longtime friend, who he met while being in foster care, no no no. I wanted to slap this girl hard; even more so towards the end -just wow.

My main problem, besides it being very unbelievable, predictable, the writing was not really captivating me or stood out. It lacked in depths and I felt disconnected to the characters. I couldn't even feel sorry for them despite their sad background stories -sorry, I just couldn't. It was shallow and rushed.

Sebastian's reasons why he's the way he's... naa sorry, it didn't make sense, especially throwing out his money to all the chicks in his books - his payments *scratches head*.

This wasn't for me...as said I'm a picky romance reviewer. I don't regret buying it but lesson learned -again- buying a book because of its hype.
BUT this is only my opinion, you might like the book; after all, it received lots of great ratings!

Sebastian Black is just that: black of soul and black of heart. Rising from the ashes he's now one of the most influential club owners in the city and intends to stay there. One of his cardinal rules is to avoid any emotional attachments whatsoever which includes women. His two rules for those women who he adds to his little black book: don't ever deny me, and don't fall in love. Breaking either of these rules will result in being removed from his book and life.

Rosslyn Harris has pretty much reached the bottom of the barrel after her grandmother dies and Roz finds out that she's left with huge debts. As guardian to her teenage brother it's up to her to find a quick fix before the two land up on the street homeless. Her prayers may be answered when she's hired at the #1 club in town as a waitress. But just as quickly she's fired for no reason only to find out the owner has a proposition that will save her and her brother. But will the cost be more than she can handle when the details are revealed and Roz finds out to what lengths Sebastian has gone to to get her in his bed.

The blurb for this book don't really give the vibe that this has a dark theme with a side of mystery/suspense. That was a pleasant surprise though the degree of dark themed content barely scratches that threshold. Still, it added an element that I did appreciate as it did elevate the overall read above being just a simple erotic romance.

The main characters didn't quite jell together for me. Whether that's because of a lack of chemistry or not developing the actual personality of each I'm not sure. I just didn't get vested in either to have any strong expectation of wanting a HEA ending for them.

I did appreciate the adult content scenes though. Can't go wrong with a dominating man who goes after what he wants. There are parts of the story I personally would have liked to give Sebastian a swift knee to the crotch but that's not necessarily bad.

While I enjoyed the overall read I did feel there were issues that were problematic for me. Not to the point that I wouldn't recommend this to others but definitely to the point that any potential reader should be aware that this has some degree of darkness and a story line twist that didn't quite work.

Sweet Baby Jesus.

I am still trying to keep my composure about this book when in my mind all I keep thinking about Sebastian Freaking Black. I need a good cool down after finishing this story.

Sebastian is a bad boy with a steel heart who wants nothing more than sex. No relationships, straight up dirty sex. He certainly has his share as well, but he is looking for the “girl of his dreams” but not to have a relationship with. He finally meets his “Jessica” and has a deal for her that she can’t refuse. She is no meek girl, she is strong willed and will put up a fight and not afraid to speak her mind. Then the story just keeps getting better from there.

Sebastian will have you wrapped around his sexy little finger and have you saying yes sir before you know what hit you (and hopefully it will be delightful).

This story was perfect for me. I have read many stories from Tabatha and Melissa and have loved them all and this is definitely the case with this one. If you are looking for a read, this is it! Before you know it, you will be trying to figure out how to get your name into that Little Black Book!

This book is AMAZING and I'm in love with Sebastian Black <3 !

From page one, with Wilma and Betty, this story captivated me, it was something different, a mix of hot hot hotness, darkness, a little mystery, everything wrapped up with perfectly likeable characters.
I never imagined the twist it would have and it was GREAT!
It is written from the point of view of the two characters, so it makes it even more easy to devour.
I don't think I have a lot more to say besides READ IT, GR friends!!

I'm actually really disappointed in this book. I wanted more from the concept of the black book. Then the "secret"... why was this even a part of the book? It wasn't needed and didn't fit with the plot! Not to mention how late it enters in the story. Then how easily it is forgiven!?!?! Seriously????

Oh my god! This book had me at Hello, or I should say As soon as I read the name of the book. "Little Black Book" Then The Blurb. Please, I had the feeling this book was going to be WOW! YaY! AWESOME!

 photo tumblr_mw4gl1RtBb1qi5s15o1_500_zps195f643a.gif

I did enjoy the first chapters but along the magic path I was walking, something changed and the whole "Little Black Book" was lost somewhere. And I missed it. Because It got lost pretty soon.

 photo tumblr_m2ha64Eswf1r3in4so1_500_zpse7ac48b9.gif

Definition of "Little Black Book" : a book containing the names and addresses of acquaintances who are potential dates, usually put together by men and women. So yeah I was expecting lots of chapters where Mr. Black and his Black book were inseparables, until he met THE ONE and even though knowing he met the one, he would used the black book. I expected that.
 photo tumblr_n724z84Fv01qhc28no5_r1_250_zps89c90d01.gif

Instead I got this
 photo tumblr_n6m9ymshwa1seei65o7_500_zps4ab43f4b.gif

I believe something was missing here and made me not loving this book at the end. I can't say it's a love story per se , but Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele started that way, but Christian's crazy ways had more details and maybe made more sense.

 photo tumblr_mi2vc9Huo71rtm2imo1_250_zps579fa285.gif

There's not a lot of drama. Not a lot of funny moments. And even though I love Sebastian Black, I didn't connect with Rosslyn. I did want to know more about Kyle.

“My name is Sebastian Black, and I want to buy you. I could have any woman I want, but I choose you. NO RELATIONSHIP, JUST SEX….”

5 Beautiful Beautiful STARS

The Blurb:

My name’s Sebastian Black, and I want to buy you. I could have any woman I want, but I choose you.
NO RELATIONSHIP, JUST SEX.

Here’s my offer…
I’ll put your name in my LITTLE BLACK BOOK, and when I want you, I’ll call you. When I call, you’re going to come, in more ways than one. It will be mutually pleasurable for both of us.

There are only two rules:
DON'T EVER DENY ME.
DON'T FALL IN LOVE.

If you do either, I’ll remove you from my book and payment stops.

Do we have an understanding?

Warning: Do not read this book in public. Ahead is a Alpha-panty-melting-hot male. He makes you want to do things trust me, You don't want to do them in public.

Sebastian Black is a club owner. He grew up in foster care. He's not into relationship's. They are a big NO-NO for him. He know's his charm and how filthy his mouth is?! So Yummy!

description

He keeps a Little Black Book in which he writes the names of his girls. He pays them. No 'Actual' Names are exchanged. He calls them with names of cartoon characters. Was a bit weird! But you come to know the reason later.

He plays very hard. But by his two rules. He leaves a girl if she's starting to get attached.

But all he wants is his 'Jessica Rabbit'. He's desperate to find her.

description

That's when Rosslyn 'Roz' Harris enters. Her grandma just died. The bank and other debts are to be paid. She doesn't have anything left after paying them all. She and her brother, Kyle are homeless living in her old, actually ancient ,if you speak frankly, car. She needs a job. Her only friend, Trish get's her a job at Sebastian's club.

description

Sebastian notices her the very first day. He instantly knows that she's the one he's been searching for his Jessica. And he never mixes pleasure and business. So he decides to fire her. And approach her with his proposition to be his 'Jessica'.

description

She shots down his proposal. But Sebastian doesn't backs down. He wants her. And he will have her.

After some time, She bends to his will. And she enters into their 'relationship'.

description

But there are things, Will they tear them apart?

This book was totally amazing. I loved it very much.

description

The book was intense. The plot was so good. This was the journey of Sebastian. I lived it all. It was beautiful. It made me cry. laugh. Be in lust. Swoon. Everything.

This book was a perfect 5 Star read for me. And Sebastian. Oh Boy. You blew me.

description

And Sebastian was definitely telling me..

And My god. If he did that.
