From New York Times Bestselling author L.A. Casey comes a fun, sexy, and very Irish, new series ...

Dante Collins enjoyed a wild life of women and alcohol in abundance, christening him with the name Date for his Casanova ways. He had always thought he was unlucky in love, and settling down with one woman wasn’t meant for him … until a country girl falls into his lap and has him questioning everything.

Ina O'Shea had been held back her whole life by everyone from her abusive father to her territorial ex-boyfriend. For the first time, she was living life by her rules and refused to allow her disability to spoil that. She always wanted more from life, and moving across the hall from Dante Collins might just be the adventure she had always sought.

When their personalities, and bodies, collide, it sets in motion a string of events that unfolds in an untimely manner. Dante questions his future while Ina runs from her past. Trusting your heart to another is a daunting task, one they’ll have to overcome if they want to keep the flame between them burning strong.

Okay, it's really releasing on the 12th of July, no take backs. My mental health dragged me for the past two years and the doubts that filled my head about this book were immense, but I've finished the book, and I'm in love with the story and the characters.

Nothing sexy about a 32yr old man who doesn’t get up to get to work on time because he was fcking last nights ONS and has been with between 800 - 1000+ women….

I get the author likes her manho’s but at least in the Slater series the guys had responsibilities and took care of them. Date was just disgusting in his actions AND how he viewed/talked/though about women.

Only semi good thing was at least he didn’t sex up anyone after meeting the very innocent, sheltered, came from an abusive home heroine. However, it’s repeated ad-nausium his prior behavior.

Oh and of course she becomes friends with Alynnah - the ONLY woman he had more than a ONS with and actually caught feelings for.

I waited on this book for 3 plus years. It's been a long time and I pre-ordered it as soon as it was available. But unfortunately I don't like this very much like L.A Casey other books from the series Slaters brothers that holds to my very heart cause i loved it. I give it 4 stars for 4 reasons...

1. Cause I get to see the slater brothers have a scenes here and also the adorable children🥺
2. IT WAS FUNNY. MANY FUNNY MOMENTS OF THE FAMILY AND BROTHERS AND THE LOVERS ARE SO FREAKIN FUNNY I CAN'T STOP LAUGHING 🤣🤣🤣

“we passed through the double doors, ear-piercing screams and pain-filled groaning came from every direction, and I knew I’d likely never be able to obtain an erection again.”
😄😄😄😄

3. THE HERO IS OTT POSSESSIVE PROTECTIVE ALPHA MALE
4. No cheating and happy ending.

The first thing that I read from the hero's POV is that he is a MANWHOR3 for sure like a sl*t for it and he said this that made me not liking his character cause it's not even cute at all if you know what i mean; “I thought about my wake-up call with the voluptuous temptress and how after I tongued her clit and made her come, she sucked my cock like a black hole, then rode me like a cowgirl until I came so hard I saw stars.”

“I was still a free agent and fucking beautiful women whenever it saw me fit.”

That wasn't something I like to read from a hero in the first POV of him saying and explained himself. AND THIS IS BEFORE HE EVEN MEET THE HEROINE but still it annoys me to read that. It's not cute and it's not good to read it... Like 😒😒😒 So prepare yourself for that😂

But he did regret it once he know and be with the heroine. He wishes that if he can go back and change it, he will definitely chase the heroine instead and she will be the first and only woman he slept with. “I never thought my past would hurt a woman like this, and it made me feel like dirt. I wished I could turn back time and not fuck a single woman until I met Ina.” ❤️❤️

Moving on....

The story start with the heroine was running away from her hometown and her own house from her father and cheating ex boyfriend because both of them are so cruel to her for their stupid reasons. She moved into a new town and into her new place... One night when she was cleaning and organizing her new apartment in the new town, she was tired and have a mental break down so she start to scream and throw her stuff around without realizing she was making a lot of noise. And the hero was her neighbor but that she never met before. When the hero was babysitting his nephews and one of his cute nephew name jax woke up from the noise the heroine was making, the hero was furious so he wants to see and shut the neighbor up. The hero and his nephew that he was babysitting took off from his place and knock on the heroine's door cause the hero thought his new neighbor was a male but turns out it was a female... And since then the hero know deep down she's the one for him....

The story how they meet was cute and romantic. But it annoys me that the heroine was the one who's so more into the hero when she first saw him and saying it a lot more than the hero😒 Like b*tch please lol.

It has unnecessary childish drama sometimes not many times because the heroine was childish considering how she grew up and raised from her dad that's why she's like that childish. But overall this book is cute and fun one to read. Especially the book contains a lot of funny scenes that would make you laugh so bad😄😄😄😄 SO MANY FUNNY SCENES AND ADORABLE SCENES THAT MADE ME SO AWE AND LAUGHING.

‼️‼️‼️NO CHEATING AND NO SEPARATION

‼️‼️‼️TRIGGER: High on violence, kidnapping, alcohol, PTSD and hospital.

‼️‼️‼️DUAL POV

‼️‼️‼️SAFE ROMANTIC SO FREAKIN FUNNY LOVE STORY.

‼️‼️‼️THE HERO IS OVER THE TOP POSSESSIVE PROTECTIVE ALPHA MALE FOR SURE.

Unfortunately the hero is a world class MANWHOR3 before he met the heroine. Like 800+ he claims he had sex with. And that honestly made me go down the rating cause that seriously made me want to puke. BUT AFTER MEETING THE HEROINE AND EVEN BEFORE THEY HAVE S3X AND ONLY TOUCHING, THE HERO IS LOYAL TO HER AND NEVER EVEN ONCE TOUCH ANOTHER WOMAN OR GO TO THE PUB THAT HE USUALLY GOES TO. LIKE HE REALLY STOP DOING HIS OLD WAYS SINCE HE FIRST MEET THE HEROINE.

‼️‼️‼️LOVE IN FIRST SIGHT.

“Her cute as fuck dimples deepened when she smiled wide, and I’d be a barefaced liar if I said I wasn’t wildly attracted to her. I shifted my stance when I imagined myself fucking her, eating her cunt, sucking on her nipples, and tasting those pouty lips of hers. I was in big fucking trouble, and I knew it.”

‼️‼️‼️THE HERO AND HEROINE ARE OBSESSED WITH EACH OTHER. This is the first time i see a heroine who's obsessed with the hero too cause I usually read and most likely like when the hero is more obsessed. Lol.

“I wanted Ina in my bed, my shower, bent over my settee, and up against my bedroom wall, and I would have her in all those ways and more.”

“Ina O’Shea had fucked my head up. I met the woman briefly. Both of my encounters with her had lasted no more than ten minutes. Ten. Fucking. Minutes. That was all, and I was acting out of sorts. It was embarrassing to be behaving like a little schoolboy with his first crush.”

“I love you, Ina. I think about you constantly. I crave your smiles, your touch, and even your little scowls when you’re cross with me. I love it all. I love you, country. Ye’ve been the only woman I see since that first night when all that bangin’ woke me up. You’re constantly on me mind, specs. When I’m not with ye, I’m countin’ down the seconds until I am. I love you. You’re me girl, country.”

I love it when the hero is scared to lose her physically and emotionally even at first when they didn't have s3x yet.

“I was worried the same thing would happen with Ina, and I didn’t want to lose Ina to another man. I couldn’t.”

‼️‼️‼️MANY JEALOUS SCENES FROM THE HERO AND LITTLE FROM THE HEROINE. Even when the hero's brothers and friends comments on the heroine's just to pissed the hero saying she's pretty and have a big ass he would punch them immediately 😄😄😄😄 and that happens a lot when they first know the hero got a thing for her big time lol.

“Interesting.”
“What’s fuckin’ interestin’?”
“That you don’t tolerate another man checking out the new girl or talking up her assets. I just find it interesting.”

“Slater”
—Dante looked from me to Damien and glared—
“what’ve ye been sayin’ to her? Her face is red.”
I hadn’t even realised I was blushing. I turned and looked back at Damien.
“Nothing, Date,” he answered without looking away from me.
“Just making conversation... She’s real pretty, bro.”
That was twice he had called me pretty. I looked at Dante and swallowed.
“Back off.”
Dante looked like he might have snarled as he took a step forward.
“Ye can’t have this one, not a fuckin’ chance.”
Within the blink of an eye, Dante punched the beautiful white-haired fairy, then the fighting started.
So did my screaming.
“I’m sayin’ he looks like a fairy. He is ridiculously beautiful with his white hair and pretty face … like a fairy.”
I turned to look at Damien once more but found a massive hand covering my eyes, preventing me from doing so. I knew Dante was speaking to me because he pressed his mouth to my ear, and I felt his lips move. I removed his hand and
“I said, stop lookin’ at him.”

😄😄😄😄

“Don’t tell me you’re jealous of your own nephew?”
“Ye wouldn’t believe how much, Look at him, touchin’ her tits and smilin’. The little fucker.”

‼️‼️‼️THE HEROINE sorry is not my favorite character on this book at all. She so childish, a doormat heroine too, sassy but not too much and sadly boring. SHE SAID ASKED THE HERO FIRST WILL YOU BE MY BOYFRIEND.... LIKE WHAT. THAT DROPS ME. ARGH HEROINE😒 OKAY YOU HAD A BAD CHILDHOOD BUT CHILDISH MUCH??! SO FREAKIN BORING.

‼️‼️‼️IT HAD THE HEROINE'S EX BOYFRIEND SHOWS UP ONE TIME AND NEVER ONCE FROM THE HERO. NOT EVEN A TEXT FROM HIS EX FCVK BUDDY SHOWS UP, NOOOOOO.... THEY TALKED ABOUT THEIR PAST PARTNERS BUT ONLY ONCE AND NEVER MORE.

‼️‼️‼️NO VIRGINS.

Both are clean.

The hero didn't have s3x with anyone else for months after meeting the heroine.

‼️‼️‼️DRAMA WITH OM BUT NOT TOO ANNOYING. NO DRAMA WITH OW.... OTHER DRAMA IS ABOUT THEIR FAMILY AND THEMSELVES.

‼️‼️‼️THE HEROINE IS 27 YEARS OLD AND THE HERO IS 32 YEARS OLD.

‼️‼️‼️LOCATION: DUBLIN

‼️‼️‼️VERY HOT SMUT SCENES EVER😏😏😏😏😏🔥🔥⭐⭐⭐⭐

YOU DON'T HAVE TO WORRY.

Both are clean....

‼️‼️‼️GREAT CHEMISTRY.

‼️‼️‼️IT HAS PUSHING AWAY FROM THE HEROINE BUT NOT TOO MUCH AND NEVER FROM THE HERO....

‼️‼️‼️HAPPY ENDING.

ENGAGED.

👉🏽👉🏽👉🏽Thank you so much for reading my review❤️❤️ For you who loves my review and follow it, THANK YOU SO MUCH. I did not get paid or be told to do a review on a book. I’m here just to write review about a book so i can remember it. Its my honest opinion😚 I didn’t know at first people will find me and follow me and trust me to be honest, I was surprised myself to look at the notifications from people who reach out to me😆 So everything i write down here on a review is based on my personal opinion and based on my true writing. I DID NOT COPY SOMEONE’S REVIEW OR WRITING SKILL because at first when i was using this app for one year i didn’t know how to scroll down on a book and see the reviews from others😂😅🤣 I know, silly me but hey I finally learned my lesson 😛😛😛 Thats why when people assume i copy someone’s review i was like what? Because at first i didn’t know how to use this app properly and i didn’t know how to open someone’s review because for a year i never follow someone or add friends or someone😂😂😂🤣 (I’m laughing so hard) 🤪 AND I NEVER COPY SOMEONE’S REVIEW EVER. IF I WRITE SOMETHING WRONG OR DOESN’T MAKE SENSE PLEASE LET ME KNOW AND BE NICE OKAY. 👈🏽👈🏽👈🏽✋🏽✋🏽 IF YOU'RE BEING MEAN AND NEGATIVE ALREADY WITH A WARNING AND NOT BEING WISE TO ME, I WILL NOT ENTIRELY READ YOUR COMMENT AND REMOVE YOU EASILY AND FAST. I DO NOT TOLERATE NEGATIVE COMMENT SO KNOW YOUR PLACE, THANK YOU SO MUCH.

I’m writing my disclaimer again here cause many negative people still don't get it or still be stupid enough not to understand my POV when I already write it so many times before. So here I am writing it again to you beautifuls human being😁😁 WHEN YOU READ MY LONG OR SHORT REVIEW, YOU WOULD KNOW THAT WHAT I LIKE ABOUT A STORY AND CHARACTERS RIGHT... IF YOU DON'T KNOW THEN HERE IT IS: I LIKE A BOOK WITH VERY POSSESSIVE PROTECTIVE ALPHA MALE, NO CHEATING, AND PLEASE NO MANWHOR3, NO MANY PUSHING AWAY, NO DOORMAT HEROINES, NO MANY OW DRAMA, NO S3X SCENE WITH SOMEONE ELSE. AND SAFE ALL THE WAY AND A HAPPY ENDING. Something that I don't like it very much if the hero or heroine have a crazy fvcked up personality and likes. Example: killing someone and let the heroine watch it all and push the heroine to lick all the blood of his victim and made her have to eat the meat of humans. and fvcks many woman in front of the heroine while telling her he loves her. I DON'T LIKE THAT TYPE OF SH*T AT ALL. That's just who I am, that's what I like and I don't like on a book. Maybe you love that, but I don't. We humans are different, we think very differently from one another. You have your likes and I have mine, you have your opinions and I have mine of my own. You think it's stupid of me to love such a book or to not love a book or to hate it whatever lol, I think it's bad you think that way cause I respect people's opinions cause I know for a fact we have our differences. YOU AND ME ARE DIFFERENT FOR PETE'S SAKE. I even have my own friends or people I follow here that shows how much they don't like the book I like, I never even give them a long comment or short Comment. Cause I respect their opinions. I don't like to give people I hard time here cause life itself is already hard enough. I do respect your opinion if you say my review is bad or whatever negative things about it, but in the end of the day I will not changed my mind about what book I dislike and how my thoughts about it. You can't tell me what to do. You can give me advice but it's me who decided to know what's right for me, this is my life and not yours. Read that again. Don’t assume things about me that is not even real, just don’t. cause when you do youre more small minded for sure. You're thinking why I'm telling you all of this when you already know? Is because you still hating on my opinions and don't understand my POV and don't respect my POV. You think i like writing this disclaimer when obviously you're an adult already? no i personally think this is unnecessary... but because there are people out there who still don't get it *rolling my eyes*. Hopefully they or the people who read this disclaimer can use a beautiful thing called a brain:) AND WHEN YOU READ MY REVIEW, READ IT VERY CLEARLY TO SEE IF I FINISHED THE BOOK OR NOT. KNOW THE DIFFERENCE. AND YES ENGLISH IS NOT MY FIRST LANGUAGE. BUT IF YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT I'M WRITING, THEN IT MEANS YOU UNDERSTAND IT ENOUGH. I DO NOT TOLERATE BULLYING, NEGATIVE COMMENTS AND MEAN WORDS. PLEASE USE A WISE WORDS SO WE DON'T ATTACK EACH OTHER. SIMPLY, I DON’T LIKE TO HAVE AN ARGUMENT WITH STRANGERS LIKE YOU CAUSE I HAVE BETTER THINGS TO DO😚 BUT IF YOU STILL WANT TO BE AMBER HEARD KARENS THAT DON'T UNDERSTAND MY DISCLAIMER AFTER I JUST WRITE IT DOWN, THEN GO ENJOY YOUR DAY AND GO AWAY. IT'S VERY EASY FOR A HUMAN COULD DO YA KNOW. IF YOU STILL HERE HATING ME OR ANNOYED WITH ME, THAT'S YOUR PROBLEM. NOT ME PROBLEM. HASHTAGS BURN😂😂 DON'T TAKE THINGS TOO PERSONALLY ON ONLINE CAUSE WE ALL A STRANGERS, WE NEVER EVER MEET. WE'RE ADULTS HERE SO LETS BE WISER. LAST, I BLOCK NEGATIVE PEOPLE! SO GET WELL SOON TO THE HATERS. HOPEFULLY YOUR HEART AND MIND WILL BE MORE POSITIVE 🙏🙏🙏 AND THIS DISCLAIMER MAY SEEMS LIKE TOO HARSH ON YOU BUT HEY I DON'T LIKE TO SUGAR COATED THINGS. I LIKE TO SAY TO THE POINT WITH MY UNDERSTANDING AND MY OWN THOUGHTS, CAUSE THAT'S HOW HUMANS ARE. WE ARE DIFFERENT REMEMBER👍 HAVE A GREAT DAY EVERYONE!!

Web-Photo-Editor I have some serious competition,” I grumbled to Ryder as I retook my seat next to him. “With a baby, it would seem.”
Ryder looked at Locke snuggling Ina and laughed when the kid openly palmed her breast. “Don’t tell me you’re jealous of your own nephew?”“Ye wouldn’t believe how much,” I huffed. “Look at him, touchin’ her tits and smilin’. The little fucker.

Plot Summary :
Dante, famously known as DATE because of his habit of sleeping and ditching women, is living a content life. Or so he thinks. The last time he gave his heart to a woman, it did not end well. He might have not been in a relationship with her but a part of him liked being someone's person and now that it was gone, he realized how hollow his life had been. That is until he met his neighbor. His cute as hell neighbor whom his nephew managed to whack and faint on their first meeting. A great start to a love story? I think not 🤣 Ina is someone precious. He knows he can't just use her like he did to every woman and keeping her was not something he considered himself to be worthy of and so their tale of friendship began.

Ina never had an easy life. Being hearing impaired and living alone was not a smooth ride. Especially for someone like her who ran away from her home for her freedom and was now alone in this big city. That is until she meets her gorgeous neighbor. Dante is hot, charming, sweet and pretty much everyone's favorite. He is a godsend to her because the man helped in this new town and for that she will always be thankful to him. Working with his brothers in their garage was a dream for her and if she had to stay away from him according to the work ethics, then so be it. It won't be that tough, right? He was just a man.

Overall Opinion :
My favorite author is back with my favorite bunch of characters ever!! I just missed my Ryder, Nico and my baby Alec so much. The humor, the utter madness, the angst and the amazing love that this author pours into her books is truly unmatched. I have read tons of Rom coms and trust me when I say that she is the queen of them. L. A. Casey had me dying with laughter in the first few chapters only and that kept getting better as the story progressed.

This standalone book was just the best for me. It had everything I wanted in a book and I loved that so much. I read this one as soon as it popped up on my Kindle and didn't let go until I was finished. Definitely recommend this book to all contemporary romance loving people. It has all the best parts of a romance book and is truly a masterpiece.

I waited for this book since the end of the Slater series but unfortunately I found it disappointing.

I would have given it a 2 star but I raised it to a 3 star because there was a few parts where I did laugh out loud and you cant give a 2.5. Any scene with Alec Slater is bound to get a few chuckles.

I found myself cringing at some of the scenes especially the "Daddy scene" I felt a little disgusted given the fact she admitted to calling her own father Daddy. For me it was a bit much going from calling her father Daddy then a sex scene calling Dante Daddy back to calling her father Daddy.

Ina seemed a little to immature for me, I know she lived a sheltered life but she did say she went to school and college so she should have had more sense. She is suppose to be this shy 27 year old but I thought she often sounded more like a teenager. Sometimes her attitude reminded me of Bronagh when she was in school in the book Dominic.

I waited years for this one.
I enjoyed and loved every family time with the Collins and seeing again the Slater brothers i missed them TBH. What i didn't miss tho was Allanah/Damian and Dante past.
I hated back then the author choice and i hate it even more now.
I still can't believe how she ruined Damien's and Dante's future.
I hate that Dante was with Allanah i can't freaking stand it, she could've been with someone else, that is not around her friends and family... other than that...well Ina is just MEH.

Ina is 27 years old, lived with her abusive dad and was in a 9 year relationship with Finn that was verbal abusive, she said she now realized she never was in love with him, but , i can't believe that.
She stayed with him for to many years. I truly disliked her character, she needed to leave as soon as she was 18...but she stayed for to long.

Dante...well apart for that Allanah stuff, i disliked his manwhore's ways...he slept with over 800 girls...ew. And this is why it was hard for me to believe that he changed and stopped as soon as he meet Ina, i'm glad he didn't go with no one else but i needed at least i dunno, him going out till he had something with her? i don't know.

At first i was intrigued , and i could get him being curious because Ina is a different kind of girl, but then i felt like it was kind of unrealistic, i needed more connection, more fighting the attraction...something other that what we got.

Over all it was a nice couple but something is missing , maybe more chemistry i dunno, she is just so plain and kind of boring.
Thank good with all the fun family moments, that were 5 stars indeed.
The couple just take a second spot for me, i was just getting indifferent with them.
Let's not talk about their first time, i cringed so hard...him wanting her to call him Daddy..like...ew.
She called Daddy her dad / his dad...like...come on. I hated that about her BTW, daddy non stop, just da or dad were enough to call their fathers..and letting her call him daddy too was...just so freaking awkward and make her talk dirty? just ew. I wasn't feeling it at all.
For the first time in a book we have the H acknowledge that she has cellulite and stretch marks , finally not a smooth skin like in every book xD

The Allanah and Damien stuff was brought up to many times for my freaking liking.
Really annoyed by that, but like i said above, it's all this author fault.

The drunk scene with her was where i drew the line, it was not needed and not funny TBH it just dragged on the book.

Sometimes it bothered me when he told the family intimate stuffs..like ok being united but..some things need to stay between them.

For the next books i can't wait to read Harley's and Gav's books...i'm not into JJ because the author once again loves to twist girls and boys names...like there will be a H named James and a h names James too..like...wtf...it's not the first time, it's so annoying, then another thing about JJ book is that i think this h will be back together with her cheating bf after she had a one night stand with him so it's a hard pass for me even if they just meet that night.

Another thing that always bothers me about this author is the dialogues full of irish talking, it's so frustrating :(

4.5 stars!

I've read a few books from this author and I have to be honest and say that her books tend to be a bit hit or miss for me! I was excited when I heard about this book releasing because the synopsis was intriguing and I really liked the cover! I waited for it to release, grabbed a copy, and read it once I had the chance! After reading, I can say that I did enjoy this book! The plot had a lot of banter in it and it was fun to read a book set in Ireland and read the Irish accent and certain words and phrases! The plot also had a lot of romance in it and I loved the way it developed and the journey the characters went on! The romance allowed for a few seriously steamy scenes too! There was also some action and suspense in the plot, which added a lot to it and answered a lot of questions! The characters were also amazing and made this book even better! Ina was the main female character, and in this book she was by herself after escaping her abusive father and ex-boyfriend! I instantly felt for Ina because she was such a lovely character and she just wanted to provide for herself! Ina was also deaf, and I think I've maybe read one other book where a character has been deaf, so it was interesting! Dante was the main male character and love interest of Ina! Dante was such an intriguing character for me because he was a womaniser and wasn't quite ready to settle down! Ina changed things for Dante and she made him want to be in a relationship and focus on one woman! Dante also helped Ina a lot and he supported her and was there for her! This book was written from both Ina and Dante's point of views! I was hoping that it was going to be before I started reading and the synopsis gives the impression that it's going to be! I loved that it was because it helped me connect more with both characters and see their feelings for each other develop and grow into love! It allowed for more things to happen in the plot as well, which helped as Ina and Dante did go through some situations by themselves and didn't spend every second of the plot together! I now can't wait to read the next book in this series! I'm not sure who the main characters are going to be, but I'm very intrigued by all he brothers, so I can't wait to read all their stories! I can't find any information on when the next book is going to release, but I'll definitely be reading it as soon as it releases! I also love the cover for this book a lot! It would draw me to the book if I didn't already know the author's name and it does suits the romantic side of the book! The cover image also suits the characters of Ina and Dante!

book isn't bad, just felt it's a little long-winded but then the development between the hero and heroine wasn't that well executed even when it's naggy.

and then the author seems to be spamming the "i love you" between the hero and heroine. kinda feels a bit fake or forced etc when it just keeps on repeating like a robot. it feels like the author is trying very hard to let readers believe they are truly in love, instead of the characters really having "the feeling" or "the moment" to say to each other in that situation.

oh well~~ in the end it's my own opinion, lol.

ARC review 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ if I could give more I would
Good things come to those who wait and this is certainly worth the wait.
Stop what your reading and add to the top of your to read list and prepare yourself to fall in love with Dante and Ina

If your like me and was so disappointed when all the Slater brother books finished then prepare yourself because L.A Casey is back with a bang

This book has everything -family banter,emotion and a little side of crazy.😜( you will know what I mean - a little clue - Aideen)
so the main story is all about date and ina. But in amongst that you get little snips of the other family members. which basically makes you want to have all the brothers stories right now 😝😝 .

Honesty I could go on and on about why you should read this amazing book but if I did that you would spend to long reading this review when you should be reading the book😜😜😜😜.

But I will say this. L.A. Casey you have done an outstanding job on this book. 👏👏👏

Ina O’Shea is done living life under the thumb of her abusive father and her cheating ex-boyfriend. Running away to Dublin, she is looking to start a new life completely on her own... and then she meets the formidable Collins family...

Dante “Date” Collins is a man who loves a good time.... with many, MANY women. But the second he lays his eyes on his new neighbor, all Dante wants is to make Ina his forever...

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Dateless was a hilarious and super sexy, opposites attract romance! Ina and Dante share an instant attraction, but with Dante's "dating" history and Ina's recent upheaval, they are both highly discouraged from exploring anything more than a friendship between them.
The Collins Brothers are finally here, and I don't think I could love this band of filthy mouthed, slutty rascals any more than I already do! In a family full of men who love every kind of woman, Dante takes the cake in his womanizing ways... and then he meets Ina. She's unlike any woman he's ever been with. Sweet, innocent, and... a complete warrior.
Ina has lived her whole life being abused and talked down to, but she knows her inner worth, no matter how she was raised. I absolutely loved how the Collins family immediately embraced Ina as one of their own, and how she had such a special relationship with every single member of the large and extended family.
The plot of this book was incredibly engaging, unique, super funny, and had some suspense thrown in as well! I adored the characters, the Collins family, of course, and we get a whole bunch of Slater shenanigans thrown in!!
With their good natured ribbing, and quite a few fist fights, these rough and tumble family members have a lot more stories to tell, and I can't wait to see what's next from the Collins Brothers!
I received a complimentary copy of this book for my honest and unbiased review.
I have heart eyes!! I just bloody love this world! It started with the Slaters, now it's the Collins Brothers!
First up is Dante. We've probably seen the most of him in previous books and trust me he will not disappoint!
He's a bit of a soft lad but with a heart of gold. He had a vulnerable side to him that you couldn't help fall in love with. For such a confident guy who certainly had the ladies throwing themselves at him, he's a little insecure. Maybe because lack of relationship experience but it made him so much sweeter.
His girl Ina is so adorable. She's your sweet best friend. Shes the one the whole group loves and will protect at all costs. I felt heart sorry for her at the start, but her life changed for the better they day she met Dante.
I loved the way they met. I loved how she got her job. I loved how the whole Collins family absorbed her into the family even before she got with Dante, then by extension the whole Slater family. And of course i just loved them! As a couple they were like a pair of innocents navigating their first relationship. It was so sweet and cute i had several "awww" moments because the blushes were the cutest.
The whole story was like coming home. I don't read many books with comedy in them because it takes a lot to make me laugh but i love LA's sense of humour. It cracks me up and trust me there's lots in here to bring laughter to your belly and put a smile on your face.
Sexy times are fabulous. Mostly due to the fact nothing is perfect. You can picture it as it's real. Ina was perfectly imperfect and Dante loved her for it.
Side notes -
Knit Happens - Genius! Can't wait for more Lilly!
The Slater kids - LOVE THEM! - Jax is my fave!
Daddy Collins - he needs his own book!!!!
THE duet?!! - Gold! (You'll see)
Love it! Love the family feel of these books. The storyline kept me turning the pages until it was done. Bring on the rest!!
Not to put pressure on or anything but i'm crossing everything we get novellas in between books like the Slaters???... pretty please???
I highly recommend this book! I know the rest of the series will be just as good. The Collins brothers are gonna give the Slaters a run for their momey and i can't wait!!
ARC Review of Dateless by L.A. Casey (Book 1 Collins Brothers series)
* * * * *
5 stars!
I loved it!
It's a hit! It's what we have been waiting for! I have never been so happy and wonderfully exhausted from reading a book!
Ina has had it rough.
Running from the horrid home life and toxic relationship she has endured for years, our girl is starting fresh.
Finding a place of her own.
Getting a job.
Making friends.
She didn't plan for Dante Collins...big time playboy and her new neighbour.
Dante fell hard for the sweet sexy girl with a booty that rivalled our lovable temperamental Slater lass. However his dad has made her off limits as she became the new receptionist.
Yeah, like that was going to stop fate from doing the thing it does best.
O.M.Feckin-sweet-jelly-baby-Jesus! This book was exactly what I needed. A marvellous mix of Slater love and family, with a steamy concoction of sexy fun time and sweet loving, and one hot mess of fantastic and gut cramping hilariousness!
Jax is a tyrant!
Lily and the Knitting Club - can I sign up?
The cup is back...Alec has warned all.
The scene with the result of The Devil's Brew on Ina...it took me OVER AN HOUR to get through it because I was laughing so much!!!
My neighbours came to my house to see if I was okay!
This is only book one of the series, with characters you know and love - and should assume the most out of - but you are hit with a curve ball of great drama, humour exceeding what I was expecting and gooey heart melting loveliness!
Dateless was well worth the wait and I cannot wait for the rest of the brothers.
I have been looking forward to this book and i was so excited to get it and I’m really happy the author took her time and didn’t try and rush because we got the perfect book to start off these Collins brothers story’s.
If you have read the slater brother’s story then you would know about the Collins and these two families together are hilarious and i am glad we get a little bit of the slaters in this book but i love the Collins brothers as well.
This was such a great story about how Ina ended up in Dublin, it was heartbreaking but glad she found a place that would make her happy.
Dante he is such a guy but i love that and i just loved everything about him he was actually sweeter than i thought and it was fantastic.
I’m not giving to much away in my review but i will say it’s an absolute MUST read, i laughed so hard but most of all i got sucked into the story straight away and for the first time in a year i didn’t want to put this book down i have been struggling with reading and this book was just everything for me.
If you have read the slater brothers then you will love this and if you haven’t well drop every book you thought you were going to read and pick them up they are funny, exciting, drama, emotion, they just have everything like Dateless
This is a must read and i would recommend this to everyone
I thought this was an amazing first book in this new series by an amazing author. I laughed so much I cried. And the Slater brothers make an appearance too.
Dateless is about Dante Collins and Ina O’Shea and is the first book in the Collins Brothers series. Dante aka Date which he was dubbed that for his Casanova ways has always thought he is unlucky in love and settling down. Especially after one causal relationship with the one woman who was never meant for him.
Ina O’Shea is a country girl who has always been sheltered by an abusive father and terrible ex boyfriend. One day she decides she has had enough and leaves her family farm for a new life with her own rules. She moves to Dublin and across the hall from Dante. They meet one night when Ina is unpacking and being a little loud. So Dante goes to confront his new neighbor but didn’t expect it to be a woman who takes his breath away. They get to talking since it seems Ina is upset and Dante ends up helping Ina get a job interview at the auto garage he works at the next day.
These two start off as friends while they dance around their feelings. They decide to give into their feelings and start dating one another. I really enjoyed these characters and their banter.
I would definitely recommend this book. It’s filled with lots of laughs and cute moments.
5* read.
This is the book I've been waiting for, and it was well worth the wait. It had everything I love from this author. The humour mixed in with the romance and added bit suspense. What I also loved was how this author always makes you fall in love with the supporting characters. The family dynamic and banter become a main part of the main characters journey and story, and when you finish you can't help but crave more from these characters and want to hear their story next.
Date and Ina are perfect together. Ina has had a really hard and secluded life and Date well his nickname says it all. Together though you just know they're meant to be, even through the rocky patches. Their story was beautifully wrote and had me laughing out loud to myself on quite a few different occasions. I loved how Ina straight away was accepted into Dante's (Dates) family before they even started dating. After the horrible upbringing she had it was just lovely to see her eventually get that loving family dynamic that she always deserved.
You know the saying, good things come to those who wait, well I can certainly say I wasn't disappointed and was completely hooked from the first chapter. I am so excited to see more of the Collins brothers in future books.
I’ve been impatiently waiting for this release since devouring the Slater Brother’s series. Hope you’re doing well Ms. Casey Babe 🖤 Your readers love you; you’re killin’ it!
We get the same characters we love to love and all the crazy antics they tend to get up to. The secondary embarrassment during the truck scene was reaalll 🥴😳
As some have pointed out, Date is a very recently reformed manwhore. And if you’ve read about the Slaters then you know he has history with Lana. She’s still a prominent character in the Collin’s series so it was no shock that she and Ina met and became friends. They do have a conflict arise due to his history with Lana being brought to Ina’s attention from someone other than Date. In my opinion, they needed something like that to pop up. Relationships are messy and they barely had anything to fight about! Too picture perfect to be relatable. Some of the best parts of a romance novel are seeing the H and h navigate an argument.
Love seeing all of my favorites appear and can’t wait to read the rest of the series
Ky 🖤
A miss for me
This book felt like a lackluster installment in a series that had a few too many of those for me.
I didn't feel the connection between "Date" and Ina. It seemed like a huge amount of lust rhat suddenly turned into love. The whole knitters thing was way too ott and ridiculous for me. The father stated one rule - not to being drama of getting together with one of his workers into the office, a huge deal is made about this, and it happens and then it doesn't matter. We have a serious attack and no one bothers to call the cops? And I'm gonna be that person, but the random "I'm a non-binary lesbian" shouted when she's drunk was really out of left field and didn't hit well with me, then later a man is talked about as "that gay guy". This is unnecessary and made me wonder why the author felt the need to throw these scenes in.
So yeah, not a good read for me and thinking it might be the last from this author for me.
Dateless was the first book in the Collins Brothers series by LA Casey. It was a spin off from her Slater Brothers series. Although it was more enjoyable having the Slater Brothers background, the series can be read as a stand-alone.
I’ve taken a respite from formal reviews for a while, but following are a couple quick thoughts: I loved both Dante and Ina. They were great characters and great together and Casey took us through a friendship before the relationship. The plot could be a trigger for domestic abuse. Thankfully most was in the past, but still could be a trigger bone the less. Casey also set the stage for all the brothers as well as how it intersected with the Slaters. I thoroughly enjoyed Dateless and can’t wait for more.
It's good to be back in Dublin!!
I fell in love with La caseys work while reading the Slater brothers and now we are back with the Collins brothers and it did not disappoint!
The growth you see with both Ina and Dante is amazing and love the fact that there is some diversity with Ina.
It was great to see some interaction with the Slater brothers. Alec as always had me cracking up with laughter. That man is somthing else. And Lily! I've never knitted before but I really want to now LOL
I absolutely loved it and I would give its 10 stars if I could!
Buzzing for the next book already!
It is literally hard to form the words to say how truly amazing this book is. The Collins family accept Ina instantly, their dad calls her his ‘work daughter’ they all treat her like family from day one. From here, upbringing I think is an extremely part of the story. Ina and Dante are just the cutest couples, the way they meet literally made me laugh out loud it was perfect. Even if Jax is a little monkey. Oh, and Gavin’s baby’s name made me melt it was insanely cute.
This book was well worth the wait because it is 💯 perfect the way it is, Date and Ina’s story kicked off the Collins series perfectly… soooo when’s the next one out? I joke… thank you!
P.S I hate Ina's dad 🤬
We waited so long for the Collins book series to start and it was 100% worth the wait.
As someone who has hearingloss and awaiting my hearing aids, I loved that the H Ina wears them and can't hear properly.
I loved how Dante fell for Ina right away, their story was so sweet and so funny.
That scene where she wins that "raffle" omg I was in stitches. I just love Collins family and so happy that they are all getting their own books. Reading the Slaters and how they interact with the Collins is so bloody good. And so entertaining lol.
Lee you smashed it girl. I can't wait for the next release x
A great start to LAs new series. It's funny with all the different Collins brothers we even see our favourite Slater family too. Ina has escaped a horrible abusive father and boyfriend and found a brilliant supportive family in the Collins clan . With their help she's becomes more confident out going person. We meet Lilly a crazy older women who has taken a shine to the Collins. She has a knitter group who she initiates In a into this is a very funny part of the story. Dante has been on a mission to see with as many as he can but when he meets Ina that all changes. He's funny and caring person who loved Ina from the word go.
Thank you for this story well worth the wait.😁
eu realmente gostei do livro, mesmo que a nota nao foi alta e tudo mais. Os personagens sao legais e cativantes porem até um certo ponto. O dirty sex eu quase faleci de tanta vergonha (principalmente da parte dela.. ela chamando ele de daddy foi demais para mim), e tambem alguns dialogos e cenas bem dificeis de ler pq eu estava MUITO constrangida e com vergonha. Nao sei se eu gosto do tipo de personagem mulher que essa autora faz, acho que ela exagera muito em alguns acontecimentos na visao feminina, alem de tudo é brega. Mas eu me diverti lendo (porem essa escrita dela é de morrer né muita ruim sos).
