Big, Booming Bass for Any Studio Setup

KRK's S12.4 12-inch Powered Studio Subwoofer makes it easier than ever to incorporate a subwoofer into your studio setup. Its extensive I/O allows for XLR, 1/4-inch TRS, and RCA connections, with an optional footswitch jack for hands-free operation of bypass and crossover filter features. When it's time to fire up the S12.4, you'll experience an incredibly tight and punchy low end delivered through a single 12-inch Kevlar aramid composite woofer and a front-firing bass port. Its Class D amplifier pumps out the clean and clear sound Sweetwater's discerning audiophiles constantly crave, with everything tucked neatly inside a low-profile cabinet that fits comfortably into any layout. Add the KRK S12.4 12-inch Powered Studio Subwoofer to your arsenal for big, booming bass you can rely on.

Bells and whistles for any situation

Not only does the S12.4 deliver rich, dynamic low end in any studio setup, but KRK also equipped it with a handy set of panel controls to fine-tune its sound to a variety of situations. An exceptionally powerful crossover filter tailors the S12.4 to whatever monitors you're currently using, with options for 50, 60, 70, and 80Hz operation. You also get toggles for input sensitivity, polarity reverse, stand-by, and a ground lift for removing unwanted noise, facilitating even deeper tone tweaking at the flick of a switch. Not to mention, the S12.4's footswitch jack is great for hands-free operation, allowing you to enable or disable the sub as well as the crossover filter (footswitch sold separately). All in all, the S12.4's extensive feature set makes it the perfect companion for whatever setup you're running.

Fantastic Subwoofer - Great Service from Tim @ Sweetwater

Ordered this and it was backordered for some time from the manufacturer. Tim from Sweetwater kept me up to date the whole time and even gave a discount for my wait. Great service and an incredible product, KRK all the way

S12.4

Amazing range on this subwoofer. You get the best of the lows in this with no muddying of the bass. You can tell every beat apart. I can't tell you straight up if it's worth the money, but if you could see the smile on my face every time I turn it on and get a blast from this with my pair of Rokit 8s, you would have no problem shelling out the dough. Simply superb!

KRK 12,4 SUB------YAMAHA HS8S SUB

OK here its i have 2 yamaha hs8 monitiors. they are flat sounding speakers that are very smoth have a nice bottopm for 8s you could do with out a sub maybe---but let me say your missing out with out a sub--subs let the monitiors deliever mids and highs beautifuly---so i got the hs8s sub from yamaha-- man what a sooth bootom end to compliment the yamaha monitiors. you nearly dime the sub and your will get great bottom and beaitiful mids and higs---- probaly enough bass lows not over powering. but again nearly dimed- at 80 hertz but it did the job. --but for me -i want to add low end. i want more than enough when it comes to lows--- as i can always. turn them down-- so i bought the 12.4 krk WOW what a beast--- with these speakers [ let there be bottom] --hooked them up with the yamaha hs8 monitiors--- 80 hertz wow very smooth lows fattt with no distion. the monitiors picked up only the higs and mids they sounded so sweet again deep lows. no distortion a great pleasure to liston to. for studio gear. the krk sub features a jack for on off pedal. or a/b box that was nice 1/4 inck and xlr jacks for both input and out put its hard to tripp my trigger but these kek sub --BAB BAD BOYS. THANKS TO IAN HASS

KRK S12.4

I'll start off by saying I don't usually recommend using subs if you have large monitors. I have KRK VXT8 monitors, they generally have huge bass! However, after moving my studio and treating the room, I had a huge bass null between 20-80hz, absolutely monstrous drop in low end at the listening position. So I got one of these, placed it in the back of the room central, facing me. Holy cow!!! Can't tell it's there, but my low end is back and deeper than ever! It seamlessly blends with the monitors. I would recommend it. It's really expensive, and honestly studio subs are overpriced because the demand is low generally. But it doesn't flub or bottom out at high volume, doesn't get hot, and it goes down to 20hz with power, but my complaint, it does roll off rather aggressively after like 28hz, sounds close to 6db drop then 10db at 20hz.
