Great monitor if you’re using USB-C

This monitor is gorgeous and if you’re a Windows user, has built in Windows Hello for business camera. Outside of that, the camera quality for video conferencing is average, but that’s okay given the price range. Built-in speakers and mic are sufficient for Teams calls.

I love the USB-C connectivity to my Windows PC and iPad Pro. If the device has it, you can also use HDMI obviously. Note that if you’re using max brightness, the USB-C power output isn’t a full 65W, so your laptop might not get a fast charge. It works fine for my iPad (charge and extend display simultaneously)!

Excellent choice for home office

I work from home, so this was purchased as a home office solution. My previous set-up were two 23" Samsung monitors mounted on a stand clamped to my desk. I had a separate speaker and webcam. That set-up was fine, until I switched over to this. My old set-up is pretty typical for a 2 monitor set-up: you have 2 monitors side by side, webcam, speaker(s), docking station (old term) to connect everything and plug everything into a power strip. This monitor eliminates all of that. I simply connected the single usb-c cable from the monitor to my Dell laptop, that's it. The only power cord is for the monitor. The integrated webcam, mic and speakers are excellent for video conferencing and related productivity work. I can't comment on gaming, something I don't do.

I've read the previous reviews on this monitor and wanted to clarify a few points. The trio of usb hubs on the back work great as advertised for productivity. I have my wireless keyboard/mouse plugged into the monitor and my iphone charging cable. The usb-c charges my laptop nicely. The only difference now is that i don't have a multiple display set-up, but I simply use the split screen function that every Windows version has. This is a great, simple solution you won't be disappointed with for a home office.

I like the size of the screen, easily enough real estate to function as a dual monitor, the screen is quite adjustable too. I got the KVM version and the docking station works well with an a 5 year old IBM thinkpad running linux. It works as a docking station but not a kvm
. The internal speakers are OK for meetings and such, as is the camera. I use it primarily for coding and i is nice to have space for an IDE and a browser or email side by side. I haven't used it for gaming so I have no idea how well it would perform in that capacity; but for a home office it works really well and is a good value.

The actual "monitor" is great and works as advertised. I have several problems with the other features though:

1. The camera is pointed straight ahead, meaning that if my face is centered with the middle of the monitor, the camera does not center on my face, but rather focuses on my bald spot. There is no way to change the angle of the camera.
2. The charging cable is apparently lower power than a normal charging cable so it does not really charge a laptop unless it's closed.
3. The clip to hold cables in the back broke the first time I tried to run a cable through it.
4. The sound quality of the speakers is terrible. It sounds like the speaker setting on a phone.

This was purchased for an office application. The screen quality, though, is ... meh. It's very grainy compared to my LG monitor with the same size and resolution. The camera works well, and the connectivity options are great, but don't bother doing a video conference with it because the built-in speakers are so horrible you won't be able to understand what the other person is saying no matter whether you have it loud or soft or try to find a middle ground. If I had to do it again, I'd get another LG instead.
