By day Ann Grech lives in the corporate world and can be found sitting behind a desk typing away at reports and papers or lecturing to a room full of students. She graduated with a PhD in 2016 and is now an over-qualified nerd. Glasses, briefcase, high heels and a pencil skirt, she's got the librarian look nailed too. If only they knew! She swears like a sailor, so that's got to be a hint. The other one was the look from her tattoo artist when she told him that she wanted her kids initials B and J tattooed on her foot. It took a second to register that it might be a bad idea.She's never entirely fit in and loves escaping into a book-whether it's reading or writing one. But she's found her tribe now and loves her MM book world family. I loved how the story told how Mike fell in love with 2 different people, and how it brought them all together over time. This story hits home for me. What a unique story. Mike is a special individual who has a huge heart, along with that he has a few defects. Despite these, he manages to fall in love with two equally wonderful people at almost the same time. I enjoyed their story, fell in love with them, their kids, and their friends. This author always gives the HEA with spice.

The found family vibes are awesome. I always love to see bisexual and polyamory representation. The characters are well-developed. The writing is nice.

The story really dragged in a few places for me, though, and I ended up speed reading through some of those instead. I kept wondering when all three of them were going to come together and by the time they did we were so far into the story I had to wonder how much left was going to be jam packed into the end. And a lot did get jammed. It was rushed. This could’ve used a developmental editor to smooth out some of the timeline issues, and to look at what really needed to happen for the plot to keep moving.

Overall, it was enjoyable. Not something I’d read again no matter how much I liked the characters, though.

In Triple Beats Ann Grech gives us 3 strong, compassionate, responsible and loving characters.
Different people from different backgrounds, but all 3 are feeling worn out, lonely and unloved,
there had to be more to life, If only they knew ....

A single father with 2 children, a broken marriage and a ton of baggage. Mike had no time for anything but work and kids.
Ezio is a doctor who couldn't escape his parents fast enough, a gay child was not on their wish list. Maybe working
on a cruise liner can keep him sane, but surrounded by happy people he feels so lonely.
Robyn is a lawyer with a conscience, she finds herself trapped in a bad place where she cannot make healthy decisions, so
feeling guilty and burnt out she escapes her life. She needs to put herself back together and learn to like herself again.
Add a hidden health problem to this scenario and I had no idea how this trio could find love and life together...
I really didn't expect to be so swept away...

Chapters 1 and 2 are so hot, Mike and Ezio and those white Speedos nearly melted my tablet. They are phenomenal
together, before, during and after, oh yes, and all those emotions a bonus, sigh !
A holiday fling, or something more? Mike and his children are pretty special, one Ezio watches with envy.

Of course, Ann Grech knows how to play on those heart strings too.... sadly.

Which is where Robyn walks in, all sexy and sensible and sensational.
Together Robyn and Mike go on a journey, one where they help to put each others lives in a better place, but...
Life has more surprises and pain in store for this trio.

Another thoroughly enjoyable story, especially with characters from her previous books enriching the story too.

A wonderful romance story about love at its fullest! An MMF romance read that had the sizzle I expected but a whole lot of emotions that I enjoyed. I loved how Ezio, Mike and Robyn journey was written, you get the back story of how Mike and Ezio first met, then it’s Mike and Robyn beginning and finally how all three worlds collide to make a life filled with heartache, drama, wonder and finally love. I hope we get the story from the other characters too in this newest release that doesn’t disappoint.

Don't know where to start but to say loved, loved the book. It was a great story. I liked how the storyline was written by Ms Ann Grech. All I can say is buy the book and enjoy it.

This is a moving story how chance meetings can have a profound effect on your life. From the time Mike meets Ezio, his life his propelled forward on a course of change and rediscovery. Though his time is brief it leaves a lasting impression that is the basis for the future. The best part is that it's not just hot sex, but a true emotional connection. Ann writes in such a way that I feel like I am right there experiencing the highs and lows these characters are bringing to life.

Then enters Robyn and a whole new dimension comes in to play. Again, I am right there and can even place myself in Robyn's shoes as the base for her character is rooted in issues that easily come up in real life. Then add in the friendship and the hot, HOT sex, it just keeps getting better. Then things really get fun and everyone is brought together. I feel this is when Ann truly shines in finding realistic ways to bring her characters together and begin to try and build something together with some hot steamy romance thrown in.

This definitely has a HEA with a few twists thrown in for good measure. I look forward to her next in the series.

The first part of this book tells the story of Mike & Ezio meeting on a cruise. The 2nd part tells the story of Mike & Robyn who become friends and then lovers. Robyn really is an extraordinary character.. there are not many people who would encourage their partner to date and have sex with someone else.
I thought the book was too long, too slow and detailed in some places (although the part about the caves & Robyn's former job was interesting it didn't add much to the story) and then too rushed when it came to the 3 of them eventually all getting together (almost 90% of the way through). It also felt like it happened too quickly for a man who is supposed to be such a great father... surely they should have eased the kids into the situation more slowly and gently. Dad getting 1 new partner is a big enough deal but 2 new partners and an unconventional relationship in a short space of time, as well as their dad's illness and surgery, would have been a lot for the kids.
Disappointingly there are no scenes with just Robyn and Ezio. This makes it feel that the whole 3 way relationship hinges on Mike - especially with him having the middle pillow.. as if he sleeps between his 2 lovers every night.
I like the storyline around Mike's sexual preferences and loved Robyn's reaction and their use of strap-on. However this could also have been discussed more with Ezio and the obvious benefit to Robyn of having Ezio in their relationship wasn't highlighted. I know she is such a Saint she would have been happy with just Mike and no penetration!
Interesting how Mike got Wani pregnant twice despite his 'issue' that led to them splitting up. I would have liked to see an epilogue with Robyn & Ezio having a baby together!
Finally - one of my favourite things about this series is the setting in Gold Coast, Queensland. Makes me want to visit - especially with the cold rainy summer we are having in England!
