Ocean is beautiful, the water is warm and full of fish life. You swim or snorkel and you feel like you are in an aquarium. Many restaurants overlooking the sunset serving the best fresh sea food. People are extra friendly and the Island as a whole is very safe and welcoming.

West Bay was centrally located with the things my family and I wanted to do. Our biggest problem was keeping my Grandson off the beach in the mornings and getting him off again at night. The local food at West Bay Dinner were fantastic and the service was great. We all were sad we had to leave and can not wait to return.

Don't head into Georgetown at 5 on a weekday.

Don't head into Georgetown at 5 on a weekday. Traffic is not the best and parking is even worse. The restaurants are excellent, but difficult to find parking. The beach and water are the best in the world. This can be a very slow and noneventful visit or you can find so much to do and keep you busy.

    Wonderful island spot.

Wonderful island spot. Fun things to do with kids, and nice free beaches for everyone. We loved it! The submarine tour with Atlantis was over the top worth every cent we spent on it, for a non-snorkling/scuba family.

West bay is great area in between many things and some close by places as well important if walking ,the West Bay cafe ,awesome, and in town Hi Tide played music at Decker's was great and of course water clear everywhere, many water activities .My only disappointment after seeing a lot of the public beaches was the West bay beach was a bit trashy ,and construction trash as well .I think it is important to keep all beaches clean which will keep the water clean .It was the only one ,the others were perfect and great for snorkeling....and Paradise in George Town has great food and a reef right by it you can rent gear and snorkel right there...
