[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing does a lot!  You'll need a smart phone and the app to get things going. Install it and wait a week so it can calibrate. Then you're off and running and able to see all kinds of interesting data about the air quality of your house. This will read the radon, TVOCs, CO2, humidity, temperature, and barometric pressure inside your house. It suggests installing downstairs. We have this in the hallway downstairs which is kind of in the middle of the house. It seems to get a pretty good reading there. The app is pretty cool because it will show you the data over weeks, months, hours etc. This is great for anyone who wants to keep an eye on the stuff you cant see. With a new baby, I find myself really wanting to monitor the air quality of our home.  We also have 2 dogs so I want to be sure everything is as safe as possible for everyone in our home. The unit itself is super easy to install. You have to mount a little plate but then the actual device has a magnet and it just sticks on there. It's about the size of a smoke detector. You can also wave your hand in front of it and get a color coded response about the quality of your air.  I've had this up for about a month now. I havent had any issues with the unit so far and no problems with the app. Very simple to use but there is a lot of information and data. I've had to do a little research on certain things because I didnt know all of the elements it checks for. Overall this would be a good unti for anyone who is concerned about air quality in their home. Or just wants to be extra safe from those things you cant always see.

Honestly I never really thought about radon or really knew what it was until last year when we sold our last home.. it was part of an inspection.. After researching it I was really amazed at what it actually can to to ones health..thankfully our levels were good and seeing the expenses to fix a potential issue was mind-blowing.. I also was unaware that I could own a radon and air quality monitor until now.. We just out this in our living room at our new house and I love it!!!! We know many things with the app .. humidity..temp..air quality..radon levels... Every home needs this!!!

I bought the sensor about a month ago to check my basement, where i am spending more and more time.  I discovered that my radon reading was consistently above 4 (make sure to measure 20 inches off ground). For my family's health, I paid for a radon mitigation system and with the sensor I am reading 0.6 or below now, so I know that the system works. One of the best purchasing decisions I made. Also, after latest update the Bluetooth data connection seems to be much faster.

Piece of mind learning about radon

I got this connected to my View Plus because I wanted to also measure the air quality in my bedroom. It's comforting to know this info.

Great product

I cannot express to you how much this product has changed our lives. I initially purchased this for random detection because our son lives in the basement, but it has alerted us to so much more. We discovered CO2 and VOC issues. Without these types of notifications I can only imagine how prolonged exposure would have dangerously impacted my son's quality of life. I'm now purchasing a device for all levels of my home. With COVID-19, we are spending more time indoors and this device provides peace of mind about my indoor air quality.

Peace of mind

Having to work from home puts me in the basement office for long periods of time. I was always interested in knowing the air quality and radon levels down there. It gives me peace of mind to track that and figure out what weather/conditions cause the air quality to fluctuate.
