I've owned a variety of capos. The first one of these I picked up while traveling, and I was a little hesitant because it was expensive compared to others I've owned. That being said I fell in love with it's quick release mechanism and unobstructed design. I frequently use a capo, often in different positions, and this capo is so easy to move and has excellent pressure on the strings. What I like even more is how compact it is, with no arms/levers.
I've owned several of these now, and the one negative experience I had was one that started locking up on me (the quick-release mechanism wouldn't release for some reason). I didn't realize this at first, but the capo can be pulled apart at the hinge into two separate pieces. I managed to get the capo to release, pulled it apart and reseated it, and it went back to functioning as normal.
