185 customers mention "Screw holes"28 positive157 negative

Customers have issues with the screw holes on the desk. Some of the pre-drilled holes are not in the right places or not drilled all the way through. The screw holes don't always line up with the locations on the pieces. The cupholder and phone station also had unlined screwholes, so you've got to dig into the wood to screw them on. The screw holes are a bit oblong so there is a bit of play when screwing them on. The preset screw holes don't allow for customization and placement of headset stand/controller stand. Some of the predrilled holes are very tight and the wire basket holes are a bit big to store wires in, but you could easily cut some.

It's like the iPhone of desks: simple, elegant, and beautiful. The only difference is I hate iPhones...
This is everything I've ever wanted and needed in a desk.PROS:-Very sturdy-Simple, easy, pretty-Allows you personal customization of parts-Small footprintCONS:-Honestly, none so far! Will update at a later time if something arisesI haven't owned this desk for too long so far, only a week I believe, but this is definitely one of the best desks I've ever owned. You may question: "Oh, but Erik, you are only 24, how many desks could you have possibly owned in your life???" to which I would respond: "Stop reading in to what I'm saying so much". I have personally owned 4 separate desks, and my biggest complaint about all of them is that there's *so much* to them, overly complicated, too many drawers, heavy, etc... I just wanted something that was light, simple, and appealing to the eye. Yes, I'm a gamer but the fact that this is a "gaming desk" was the least of the reason I went for it.Assembly was pretty easy, I saw a video on youtube about someone complaining about how difficult it was to understand the instructions. No, ignore this idiot, it's incredibly easy and straightforward. When you look at all the separate parts, you might assume this thing isn't going to be very stable or wobbly. Let me dash those ideas away and say that this thing is solid as hell, no part feels poorly made or anything. I will say that putting this thing together with a screwdriver will take a while, use a power drill(trust me). I actually bought an extra part after doing some research and measurements, and added a keyboard tray instead of the storage shelf onto this baby. This really isn't necessary for most people, I just really like keyboard trays and went with it. I bought the Alera Valencia under desk keyboard tray, and man did this thing just barely fit like a glove. As you'll see in the pictures I've included, I've actually chosen to avoid attaching most of the extra stands/pieces as I deem them unnecessary and don't have room for them, especially when I have 2 monitors. I like that attaching anything to this desk is entirely up to your own discretion. The cup holder and headphone holder are dope, didn't attach anything else except the charging dock(which I can't really access because my monitor is in the way, cool idea though!). With everything all set up, this desk looks great. The materials all work together, it has a super simplistic look, and doesn't take up much room. I love the carbon fiber texture of the surface, very smooth and just looks great to the eye.So, to sum this all up, this is a fantastic desk, it comes with everything you'd really need in a desk without getting too complex. It's a very simple appealing thing that allows for easy customization to how you want it. This thing also takes up a very small footprint, so if you are strapped for room, you've got a winner here. Just note that if you have monitors that are bigger than 26 inches, you're pushing it. My 2-24 inch monitors just barely make the cut, you've been warned![12-20-15] EDIT: An update on this desk, it's still holding together just as well as it was before. I recently purchased a 29 inch 21:9 ratio monitor, and that and my 24.6 inch 16:9 monitor barely fit on the desk together. But, they do fit, so if that is in your interests, go for it. Just know they may be hanging off a wee bit. Oh and, 0 scratches to this desk after many many months of abuse.

I was hesitant at first to purchase this desk because of the reviews stating various things on the negative side.
    Things such as:
    Poor packaging
    Dings/scratches on arrival
    No Pre-drilled holes
Screws were missing/not included at all

Well folks, rest assured, this is no longer the case. It seems they have listened to customer feedback, and everything above was a non-existent problem on my end.

Packaging was ample. Though the box was a little beat upon arrival, everything inside was protected by a combination of styrofoam, extra cardboard, and packing foam where needed. Each major piece was packed in a foam sleeve, and smaller parts were packed in their own small boxes with more styrofoam/card board/plastic bags. I've got a big pile of this in my living room now that I'm done assembling the desk.

Speaking of which, the desk is very nice. All the screws came with it, so assembling didn't take long. There must have been about 5 different sizes of screws used. The instructions do mention where they all need to go. Holes were pre-drilled, which makes life a lot easier.
If you did want to move certain pieces, such as the headphone holder, to a different place, you will actually need to drill your own holes. All of the pre-drilled holes are placed so that the desk can be assembled as it is in the product picture. I personally don't have a problem with the pre-drilled placements.

All the pieces besides the desk piece itself seem to be made of a very strong and extremely hard-to-bend metal. The carbon fiber texture wrap around the desk makes it look very modern. I think it looks fantastic, though I would probably recommend getting a desk lamp if you don't already have one. I like to game in what can generously be called a dimly-lit cave, and finding anything on this desk that isn't LED back-lit is just about impossible, but that's just me.

The mounting accessories are really great additions to this desk. The drink holder can be mounted on either desk leg and can be moved anytime. Everything else, such as the speaker trays, headphone holder, monitor stand, multimedia dock and game/controller holders allow for much more important things to take up desk space. Like food.
The best part is that all of these accessories are optional. Install them according to your needs.

There's even a small desk drawer in front for things such as pens/pencils/game guides etc. and another one in the back to let you bundle up and hide wires. Unless you take the drawer all the way out like it was meant to, it will not fall out of its grooves, no matter what. I've read from other reviewers that they did not use the drawer because it was falling out. They've probably made a revision here.

Overall I think this desk is awesome. There's an accessory for everything I have and need to put somewhere in terms of gaming. The construction is strong and sturdy, and the finish is stunning to look at. There's not a single thing I can think of that is wrong with this desk. Seriously, it's that great.

It's quite universal, which I think is where Atlantic nailed it. This can be used ideally for laptop enthusiasts, desktop gamers, console gamers, and even things not game-related. It's really a fantastic desk in general.

I would highly recommend this to anybody who is looking for that perfect gaming desk.

    I LOVE THIS DESK!
First off, if you are debating on weather you should get the standard or the pro version of the desk, I would definitely recommend the pro version. I have a friend who owns the other one, and I've sat at it and used it. It's a good desk, but it starts to feel small, and everything seems to get crammed quickly.

Secondly, I just love it. In my personal opinion my favorite part of this whole desk is the cup holder and the monitor stand. I currently use the stand for my 32in tv, and not a monitor because I don't own one, but I plan on building my own computer and having a monitor, and all that good stuff. Right now I use it for mostly nexflix, and desk stuff.
I also love that the desk has a laminated carbon fiber look to it. It just gives it that little extra that I really appreciate. It is a wood desk though, that can have water damage giving it bumps and other things that would make it not look as good, and that's where the cup holder comes in! Making that, again, one of my favorite parts of the desk.

The over all build is pretty easy. It took me a little over an hour, but I never build things, so that's okay for me. I wouldn't say there are any hard parts to the build. The instruction manual is straigh forward and simple to understand.
When opening the box the main desk part seemed small but after it was finished and I put it in its place it is a pretty nice sized desk. For sure enough space for gaming, and a few extra things.
On the bottom of the desk it has a space to put your smaller personal things. I just have some papers under there. It also has a wire management space underneath making it very simple for me to manage my cords. Which for me was a must when buying a desk.
I also love the headphone holder on the side. I was planing on buying one, but this desk came with one! So that's super cool.
There is also a space for you to put your devices on the back left side. It's a cool idea, but I won't use it as much just because I like to have my phone closer to me, it would just be hassle to reach for my phone over and over again, but some might not mind. And over on the back right side you have your controller stand. It holds 2 contollers, which is good enough for me.
By the way, all of the little extra parts to the desk are not removable. They are all screwed in, and secured tightly.

Over all, like I said, I love the desk. It is deffently worth spending extra on the pro version.
I've had it for almost a week now, and no problems yet. So basically no cons to the desk as of now. If anything comes up (which I doubt) I will be sure to updat this post.

5.0 out of 5 stars I think its a great table with lots of space
Reviewed in Canada on August 7, 2016
I think its a great table with lots of space, all the extra add-ons can be removed to make even more space.
Well organized table and the best parts of it are the Headset holder, The beer bottle holder (or water.. but who drinks that...), cable organizer and charging station.
Its very easy to clean, the materials are solid and the look of the surface is fantastic, I wish they would make it in more colors since I have a white cat and in general the black just looks more dirty faster.

My only bad thought which really isnt that major to be honest is its just a little to high so the angle of your arms might not be at a proper 90 degree if you don't have a proper chair and even then might be just a tad off but its very minor.

Overall would buy it again and recommend it to all my friends, great buy for the price!!!

Easy to assemble (although the one I received doesn’t seem to have had all the pre-drilled holes drilled?). Doesn’t take up a lot of space & is pretty sturdy. I’d say this is probably a good sort of starter gaming desk if you’re looking for a basic style to use until you want/need to upgrade.

this thing is perfect in every way. nice to assemble, looks great and is the perfect size. it has so many great ideas implemented. i've made many jealous. i use it as a desktop pc desk and it's rad. i wanted something small enough that it wouldn't be for putting a printer on and would be nice and tidy. i might take off the rack at the back right though (who uses cds anymore?) i love the texture of the desk too, it's kinda carbon fiber textured and looks great. very sturdy. love this thing

I have nothing but good to say about this product, best computer desk I have owned even though it don’t hide the wires it is all around a good desk for me, i didn’t put all the extra things you can put on the desk because personally I wouldn’t use all of them but other then that worth the money. There is lots of room on top of the desk and is nice and sturdy even though my floors isn't level.
