There is only one downside which is the keyboard holder is on the smaller side. I have a larger than average keyboard and the holder can't quite fit my keyboard and mouse pad. So for gamers who may have bigger keyboards and mousepads that might be an issue. However it is to be expected given the size of the desk. It jams into my small room perfectly and I'm in awe of how it looks and how sturdy it is.
Update 2/4/19
This desk lasted a good 6 months of standard use on a daily basis with about 4-6 hours at most. The desk itself is still standing tall but the keyboard tray is fairly damaged after minimal wear and tear. I learned my lesson with the previous desk on the delicacy of keyboard trays, and I treated this one with the utmost courtesy. Though the tray didn't last the time I expected it felt very nice and smooth. No longer a 4 star, sorry.
First, the desk is nice and compact it affixed in good condition albeit in the same typical manner that most furniture arrives in these days... super cheap soft falling apart styrofoam that makes a massive mess and clings to everything. After assembling (which is very easy and takes maybe 15 minutes) it takes days to actually get rid of the mess the desk arrived in.
When assembled it is seemingly very sturdy but there are some very obvious areas where the cheapness of the desk definitely show through. The glass is attached to the frame with suction cups which a high red coat desk would likely have drilled holes with aluminum studs which serve two purposes, attaching and aligning. It it difficult to make the desk seem square with no actual alignment available.
The frame is easily reversed so that the keyboard rack (useless in my opinion) can be on either the left or the right side or removed in my case. The part that really frustrates me the most on this is the layout of the frame. There are two main sections and the corner virtually floats with how it is attached to the legs, this makes it difficult to find a comfortable foot position if you desire to put your monitors in the corner as I do. Also, the crossbars sit diagonally making it so a computer tower can not be placed under the desk unless it is in the middle, exactly where I don’t want it.
It’s easy to assemble, reasonably priced, sturdy, and looks great. But it’s also cheap, hard to line up, and not the best if you actually want to be in the corner. But I would still recommend it on the price point alone.
