SWITCHBACK PRESS

WHO WE ARE

WHAT WE DO

Switchback Press is designed to provide the fiction author with specialized and individual care. That’s one of the things that makes us unique. We are not a cookie cutter publisher.

As the author, you have control over your own work but you do not have to work alone. We are there to assist and guide you through the  process.

We value our authors.

We understand your ideas and words are very special to you and when you are ready to publish your novel of fiction, we want you to see results.

You want your publisher to care. We do!

Switchback Press understands your dream.

Regrettably, at this time, Switchback Press will only review fiction projects of novel length.

Switchback Press was created with the fiction author in mind, to share the power of publishing, and embrace the story in all of us. We exist to publish quality novels that make a difference. We have been through the frustrating process of self- publishing and found it lacking the personal touch. We had questions and needed guidance. None was there. So, we created this Switchback Press to make it easier for authors like you to see your creation published. Your ideas. Your words. Your results. We will guide you through the publishing process, answer your questions, and mentor. If you are successful, we are successful.

Everything we do is geared to help you publish your novel and maximize the success of every title we publish.

We take it a step further. Before your book is published you need to begin the marketing process. This will help generate sales. Here at Switchback Press we guide you through the entire process.

Your coach will help you design an author’s platform and develop a marketing and sales strategy.

Switchback Press is different.

Switchback Press is not a cookie cutter publishing company. We won’t give you predetermined packages with predetermined prices offering you services you don’t want and don’t need. We will give you a quote after you determine what services you want and need. We might make suggestions, but ultimately you decide what’s best for you.

We want you to have all the facts so your decision will be right for your publishing needs. Our quote will be based on what you need.

Keeping the cost of publishing your book down is important. The cost of your book is based on many factors such as: number of pages, number of books printed, style, cover, binding, and any extras that you want. Keeping this cost down, increases your cash flow. Because Switchback Press is a small independent publisher, we can afford to keep our prices low and tailor our service to meet your needs.

We are looking to add new authors to our publishing house and welcome unpublished authors as well as seasoned authors.

Unfortunately not every manuscript is accepted. Switchback Press reserves the right to refuse any manuscript it feels is not a good fit for our company. Our focus is fiction, but some nonfiction titles might be considered.

Upon acceptance you will receive a contract.

Devil in the Wind

Gregg Kaplan—a former officer with the CIA—is hired by a private investigator to track down a missing man whose last known location was France.

He enlists Pete Moss, a retired Witness Security Deputy U. S. Marshal, to help him locate the man. What Kaplan doesn’t know is that the man he is supposed to find is not who he was led to believe—the beneficiary of a fortune.

Their first stop is Beaune, France where the search turns deadly when they confront a Russian asset on the same mission. This coincidence triggers Kaplan’s operative instincts and plunges the duo into the dark clandestine world Kaplan thought he’d left behind.

As Kaplan is drawn deeper into the dangerous mission, he quickly uncovers the hidden agenda for the real reason he was hired. The man he is supposed to locate is actually an exiled traitor wanted by the United States Government. Kaplan’s mission: to recover the information the traitor stole.

As the body count rises and the pieces fall in place, Kaplan learns he has been betrayed. A sin he won’t forgive.

This desperate hunt —rampant with intrigue and treachery—thrusts Kaplan and Moss into an adrenaline-charged race to prevent the traitor and what he stole from falling into the wrong hands. Because that knowledge could bring the free world to its knees.
