Compact, strong, and very high quality all rolled into one
I bought this mount for my Marlin 1894 and Hawke Varmint SF 2.5-10x44mm scope, and I'm happy to say that I made the right choice on all three counts. This is a unified mount, with both base and rings combined as one.It is machined out of a piece of aircraft aluminum, which -- just as the advertising claims -- ensures perfect alignment of both rings with the scope tube, eliminating any need or desire to lap the rings. The ring caps are nicely contoured, forming a nicely rounded profile once secured over the scope, and the screw channels are unusually long (a full 1/2"!) for strength, much more so than any other scope rings I have yet to see, and I've seen plenty over the years. There are also six holes in the base section to allow a bit of fore/aft flexibility, although the short receiver of my Marlin necessitated me using the four rear screws. One thing mentioned in the description from DNZ, the manufacture, on their website that might go unnoticed by many would be buyers is that the screws are of top grade hardened steel. That is particularly important to me, because over the years, I have had to deal with ordinary or low quality screws in scope mounts that were prone to having their screwdriver or Allen heads badly round off. That won't happen here, as I was able to provide the amount of torque recommended in the instructions without a hint of rounding.Even the provided Allen wrenches appear to be of higher quality than usual. This mount comes with a lifetime warranty, and I should mention that the instructions explicitly state that using Loc-Tite will void the warranty.Don't worry, though, as this is one mount that really does not need any Loc-Tite at all.Just use acetone or another degreaser to clean and remove any oils from the screws, scope tube, the entire mount itself, and the screw holes in the top of your rifle's receiver first, then simply bolt it down.It won't budge after that.Anyone curious about what height of mount to get should know that this medium height was used on a scope with a 44mm objective lens with flip up scope caps, and as you can see in the photos I added to Customer Images, the objective just clears the rear of the barrel with the scope caps still in place.Anyone wanting to mount a scope with a 50mm or larger objective would be strongly advised to opt for the high version of this mount instead. The only quibble I have with this mount is that it is anodized a dark slightly bluish color instead of the more common deep blue-black found in conventional bluing on firearms, something you can clearly see in the three photos I added to Customer Images. However, the difference in color is very slight and even kind of dresses it up to my eyes.I took my rifle to the range only today for the first time, and the whole thing held up flawlessly to over fifty rounds of my very stiff handloads of .45 Colt, and the scope is so secure that it almost feels as if it had been welded to the rifle. One other thing that particularly appeals to me is that this mount is 100% made in USA, even the packaging.I can't recommend this mount highly enough to do it justice.Get it!

I bought this mount for my Marlin 1894 and Hawke Varmint SF 2.5-10x44mm scope, and I'm happy to say that I made the right choice on all three counts.
This is a unified mount, with both base and rings combined as one.
It is machined out of a piece of aircraft aluminum, which -- just as the advertising claims -- ensures perfect alignment of both rings with the scope tube, eliminating any need or desire to lap the rings.
That won't happen here, as I was able to provide the amount of torque recommended in the instructions without a hint of rounding.
Even the provided Allen wrenches appear to be of higher quality than usual.
This mount comes with a lifetime warranty, and I should mention that the instructions explicitly state that using Loc-Tite will void the warranty.
Don't worry, though, as this is one mount that really does not need any Loc-Tite at all.
Just use acetone or another degreaser to clean and remove any oils from the screws, scope tube, the entire mount itself, and the screw holes in the top of your rifle's receiver first, then simply bolt it down.
It won't budge after that.
Anyone curious about what height of mount to get should know that this medium height was used on a scope with a 44mm objective lens with flip up scope caps, and as you can see in the photos I added to Customer Images, the objective just clears the rear of the barrel with the scope caps still in place.
Anyone wanting to mount a scope with a 50mm or larger objective would be strongly advised to opt for the high version of this mount instead.
The only quibble I have with this mount is that it is anodized a dark slightly bluish color instead of the more common deep blue-black found in conventional bluing on firearms, something you can clearly see in the three photos I added to Customer Images.
However, the difference in color is very slight and even kind of dresses it up to my eyes.
I took my rifle to the range only today for the first time, and the whole thing held up flawlessly to over fifty rounds of my very stiff handloads of .45 Colt, and the scope is so secure that it almost feels as if it had been welded to the rifle.
One other thing that particularly appeals to me is that this mount is 100% made in USA, even the packaging.
I can't recommend this mount highly enough to do it justice.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very well built, nice looking and easy install!
Reviewed in the United States on February 26, 2018
Installed a 1pc "Game Reaper" this evening on my 1971 Marlin 336 30-30. Very nicely manufactured and finished mount. POA hight and cheek weld with standard stock just about perfect for my 3x9-40 Burris Fullfield II scope. Really like the smoother cleaner lines of this mount on a lever gun because it demands less attention and leaves more of the solid block receiver showing that looks sweet on lever rifles. The saddles of the mount seemed to be perfectly in line and the scope laid in place with no decernable extra tollerances. Screw holes lined up perfect and the recommended 25 in lb torque seemed just right and tight without hint of stripping the heads at all.

I think I'll be checking out DNZ for any other future builds that I'm not wanting quick detach ability on if not for the nice look than for the perfect alignment. Can't really think of a single reason not to fully recommend this product. Good clean, easy and problem free install.. Go for it!
