So as you can see in the photo the vents in the cap have small hairline cracks in every vent... maybe not a big deal but I feel if i bump it, its definitely going to break. doesn't look good for the cost. The saw does cut well so far. But the biggest thing that gets me is the depth scale is with out the track.... why festool would make the scale to not include the track seems very odd to me. Maybe because the track isn't fixed to the saw and its for some safety reasons... but now I have to set the depth gauge a 1/4 off for the life of the saw. That irritates me.
