About this item
- When used with Festool guide rails, you can achieve perfectly straight and splinter-free cuts.
- Spring-loaded riving knife (splitter) keeps the cut kerf open so that the material does not pinch the blade.
- This reduces the chance of kickback.
- The slip clutch helps to minimize the risk of a kickback and minimizes wear on the blade, gear case, and motor.
- Blade changes are easier and safer using the fastfix system which locks switch and arbor simultaneously for easy arbor bolt removal.Saw Blade Speed:1,350 - 3,550 rpm

Capable of cutting material that is 2-3/4" thick, this saw will leave an edge that is both burn and splinter-free, creating edges that are clean enough to glue without any further prep work. The TS 75 is suitable for cutting solid doors, truing rough lumber, cutting out window frames, and a host of other applications. Save time and create matched panels by cutting stacked sheet goods with one cut. Try the TS 75 once, and you will never look back.

I've lived with this for a few months and need to update my review. I'll still give this 5 stars but for very limited use. I do think this is the very best tool for sheet goods and for precise long rips. If you do these types of cuts daily, this is the best. Ignore my silly remark about it being a hand-held table saw, I fell for the festool propaganda. The truth is, I've not used again after my floor repairs and cutting 15 sheets of ply. I ended up buying a Dewalt jobsite table saw for medium to small crosscuts and rips. The festool is just too big a pain to mess with for anything outside a sheet of ply or cutting a hole in the middle of my living room.
This is very expensive but it really is worth the money, just make sure you get the track. I got the 75" and 55" track. Without the track, it's an ridiculously expensive circular saw. With the track, it's like a hand-held table saw. This is the easiest way to make clean, precise cuts. I used this to replace damaged engineered wood flooring. I could have just used a simple circular saw and a homemade guide but it would have been a chore. With the Festool, I laid down the track, put it where it needed to be, set the saw down and made the cut. Simple and precise. I've since used it to break down multiple plywood sheets and it can't be beat. Breaking down plywood on a table saw sucks. These are crazy expensive but if you can afford it, you'll be happy.
I first saw one of these used by the carpenter at a boat builder I worked at as project manager. Since boats don't have traditional squared up lines for wheelhouse trim and consoles, he used this for making all kinds of irregular angles on sheet goods and ripping lumber at add odd angles. I was sold and decided to splurge on one.
No regrets. Smooth cuts, no tear out, ability to "shave off" narrow pieces to fit joints and maintain a perfect edge, safe and easy to use, well made, high quality...list goes on as to what I like. However, having never owned a track saw previously, it took some time and practice to feel comfortable with using. Festool adds a lot of functionality in their engineering (some might be over engineered in fact) so clearly need to work with it to see what the capabilities are.
I like not having to manhandle 3/4 inch plywood on my contractor table saw, and for that alone it's worth it. Arguably if that's all I needed I could have stuck with the worm drive and straight edge. I see a lot of other possibilities however that this thing will allow me to do.
It's expensive, and you still need to buy the tracks so it's not a cheap investment. As a tool nut though, I'm happy I got it!
I've trimmed my doors and he cuts are clean and precise - even using the standard blade that comes with this tool. It's second to none!
I do recommend this tool if you're in the market for one. You won't be disappointed. ;)
