A good tent that could be better
From just setting it up in the yard to test itPros:- Pretty cheap at $67- Relatively light weight and small for a cheap tent- Very easy to set up and take down- Internal space is bigger than a lot of competitors. Roomy for 1 person with gear and just enough space for 2 sleeping pads and no gear for 2 people.- The two doors are big enough and the zippers seem to work well.- Internal pockets at all 4 corners of the tent. Hook at the top works for hanging a light.- The rain fly attaches to the tent with buckles, a good feature.- Clever use of the little pinch tensioners as toggles to hold back the rolled up doors.Cons:- I have used the Clostnature ground sheets as a cheap lightweight tarp for a while and like them. I was hoping the rain fly on this tent would be the same material but it is not. The rain fly feels a little thin and doesn't inspire confidence. I haven't tested it in the rain yet though.- The rain fly really feels like it should be a few inches bigger. In one of the pictures you can see that it doesn't cover the end of the tent by just a little bit. That part of the tent is supposed to be waterproof too but I would prefer full coverage from the fly especially since those short ends are where your head and feet would be.- Relatedly, the vestibules are quite small. You could fit a pair of shoes or maybe a backpack leaning up against the inner tent. But that's all, and I'm not sure how well protected they would be.- The internal pockets are a little loose and shallow and it seems like things could fall out of them without too much movement.- The guy lines on the tent are very thin. That's probably not a big deal since I'm sure they are at least as strong as the rain fly material.- You can't open the top vents from the inside of the tent.Overall, if the rain fly was a little bigger and a little thicker, with a bit bigger vestibules, this would be a 5 star tent (at least if the fly holds up to rain).

4.0 out of 5 stars Great lightweight tent for the price
Reviewed in the United States on September 9, 2020
I purchased this Mid July, mainly as a backpacking tent I could share with my spouse. Thus far, I’ve camped in it solo 4 times (twice in rain) and used it as a sun shelter for a lake day. No backpacking trips so far. More expensive tents have siliconized ripstop fabric, but Annual seam sealing and Waterproofing aren’t difficult to extend life.

Pros:
5.5 lbs is excellent for the price (under $80 when I purchased).
Seams are all well stitched and sealed.
There was no moisture transfer through the tub from the puddly tarp beneath.
Solo Setup is a breeze and takes all of 5 minutes.
The fly goes on quickly for emergent thunderstorms... and even if you don’t have time to stake the fly, it keeps Sudden heavy rain out.
Unstaked the tent can be moved easily.
There is plenty of room to plop your butt in the tent and keep your shoes out and protected/dry within the fly “porch”.
The actual size and shape of the Rolled tent+poles is very convenient for backpacking/attaching to pack... as opposed to longer poles that are awkward to pack or stick out when attached to the outside.
The elastic in the poles will be easily replaced when it loses its stretch.

Cons:
Stakes suck in hard packed/rocky Texas soil (but The 9” Coghlans orange aluminum Stakes I bought are cheap, durable, and light weight)
No footprint included... but getting ahold of a sheet of tyvek will keep weight down and protect your tub.

Highly recommend this tent for hot-cold weather camping. It is comfortable enough through 90°F nights and insulates well enough for 50°F nights.. with my good down sleeping bag I’m confident I’ll be comfortable camping in 15°-25°F This winter.

Totally love this tent. Best one ever. Super fast and easy to set up. No trying to push and pull poles thru sleeves- there are no sleeves! Just click the mesh onto the pole frame. The frame also keeps the fly up off the mesh, creating a sort of double wall with large air gap.
Best of all is star gazing with out the fly.. Even with the fly, u can roll up the side door, or create an awning, and also open up the other side. Wonderful little tent, impossible to get better at this price. My other tent is more expensive and not even close to as awesome as this one.

Really enjoy this product. It was light for backpacking and really easy to set up. One thing is the peg are not the best quality. The ground was soft and the pegs still bent a bit. But the quality of the tent was great. It was able to withstand some strong winds and comfortably fit 2 people with sleeping mats. Has nice little pockets to store your phone, headlamp and little things well. The double door is a great feature too.
I recommend this product.
