About this item

  • Certified to NSF/ANSI 58, 6-Stage Alkaline Remineralization Layered Filtration - Exclusively designed to restore the natural alkalinity and mineral balance of water; this reliable and ultra-safe Reverse Osmosis (RO) water filtration system converts your water into clean, pure and healthy drinking water by removing up to 99% of over 1,000 harmful contaminants like PFAS (includes PFOA and PFOS), chlorine, fluoride, lead (removes up to 98%), arsenic, asbestos, calcium, sodium and more.
  • GREAT-TASTING MINERAL WATER - A standard 5 stage RO system produces slightly acidic water with a pH of 7. 0 or below because the RO membrane removes not only harmful pollutants but also a few helpful minerals. The iSpring RCC7AK Reverse Osmosis water filter includes an additional 6th stage - an Alkaline Remineralization filter which restores healthy minerals and produces a balanced alkalinity, which gives your water a more natural taste than regular 5 stage RO water filter.
  • LOW MAINTENANCE - Transparent 1st stage housing for easy visual inspection. Three extra long life pre-filters to remove large contaminants and protect RO membrane. Ultra fine (RO) filter to remove contaminants down to 0. 0001 microns; fine GAC filter to provide final polishing to the purified water and (AK) filter to finally restore just the right proportion of healthy minerals and a natural alkaline balance. The end result is great-tasting bottled-water quality.
  • EASY TO INSTALL & NO LEAKS - The water purifier is designed for DIY installation and all necessary parts for installation are included. Backed by clear installation manual, instructional videos, and access to lifetime technical support. The entire alkaline system fits nicely under a kitchen sink. For leak-free installation, simply push tubing ½” deep into quick-fitting connectors and lock; no threading pipes needed. Note: Please ensure RCC7AK fits your under-sink area before purchasing.
  • 100% SATISFIED CUSTOMERS - RCC7AK from America’s favorite brand of under sink water filter is the highly rated reverse osmosis systems. Comes with 1-year limited manufacturer warranty upon registration and lifetime personalized support from GA, USA, combined with premium quality components, this water filter is to deliver endless bottled quality drinking water right in your home for many years to come, eliminating plastic waste.

ro water filter system

6-Stage Reverse Osmosis System

The iSpring RCC7AK water filter is a multi-layered filter system that provides optimal protection against over 1,000 different types of contaminants, including arsenic, asbestos, chlorine, fluoride, lead (removes up to 98%), calcium, mercury, sodium and more.

Safeguard your health by choosing iSpring as your first choice!

Alkaline Remineralization

A standard 5-stage RO system produces slightly acidic water with a pH of 7.0 or below.

With an Alkaline Remineralization filter, the RCC7AK restores healthy minerals and produces a balanced alkalinity, giving the water a better taste. It uses all-natural mineral stones as the filtration media and never sacrifices quality for quantity.

NSF Certified TDS Reduction

The iSpring RCC7 line is America's favorite brand of water filter systems. All of our systems go through rigorous testing for air leaks, pressure, and cycle resistance to maintain our premium quality and high-performance standards. It is certified against NSF 58/ANSI for TDS reduction (58 for reverse osmosis).

Why iSpring RCC7AK

Featuring some of the longest-lasting filters in the industry, the Reverse Osmosis system consists of 6 stages, each one designed to progressively remove contaminants and improve water quality:

  • 3 Pre-filters: PP sediment filter. Carbon KDF (GAC) filter. Carbon block (CTO) filter. They remove large contaminants and protect the RO membrane from chemicals like chlorine and chloramines.
  • The heart of the system is the Reverse Osmosis (RO) filter that removes contaminants down to 0.0001 microns – so small that only water molecules can squeeze through and virtually nothing else.
  • Fine GAC filter provides final polishing before the purified water is delivered to the faucet.
  • An Alkaline Remineralization filter restores healthy minerals and a natural alkaline balance, while also producing a more natural taste.
  • The end result is great-tasting bottled-water quality.
  • A booster pump is needed if the water inlet pressure is below 45 psi.
  • A pressure regulator is needed for water pressure 70 psi or above.

    No more bottled water!
    5 Stars
    No more bottled water!
I purchased the iSpring RCC7AK 6-Stage RO filter out of necessity when I could not purchase a sufficient quantity of bottled water at the store due to the COVID-19 shortages. Before this, I drank only bottled water because my tap water is especially rusty and full of sediment due to old pipes in my neighborhood. The tap water also had a strong smell of chlorine, metallic taste and would smell funny if stored in the refrigerator for a few days. That is no longer the case! Now, thanks to this RO filter system, I get water from the faucet that is as good as, if not better, than the water I bought from the store. I figure I'm saving at least $25 a month in water costs, which will have the system pay for itself in way under a year. Plus, no more lugging gallons of water from the store or making unnecessary trips in search of water. The system is fairly easy to install, requiring only the most basic understanding of plumbing and hand tools, albeit it helps to be flexible to get under your sink. The instruction manual is helpful, and there are several videos on YouTube to walk you through the process. All I can really say is that there's a big difference between watching someone else do it and doing it yourself. In particular, the instructional videos make it seem easier than it is because they're not shimmying under a kitchen sink with three drain lines, multiple water hoses and electrical conduits for a disposal and dishwasher.I feel the one thing either missing from or not emphasized enough in the manual is that the storage tank can be stood upright or placed on its side. This was critical for me because the tank would not fit under my sink standing up, and I have a standard 36" cabinet under my sink. My drain setup may be most of the issue - you can see how complicated it is in the pictures. Of course, what little usable space I had under the sink is mostly gone, but that's a small price to pay for clean water.Another potential issue with the instructions is with how vague they are regarding the installation of the drain saddle. It is recommended that it be placed on a horizontal section of pipe to prevent the sound of dripping water, but that's about all it says. My suggestion is to put it on a horizontal section of pipe just past the P-trap, preferably with the hole pointing straight up. Not only does this eliminate the sound of dripping water, but this might also prevent your system from malfunctioning should you get a clog in your trap, and it's less likely to leak into your cabinets if the drain saddle doesn't seal perfectly. I may be wrong about this, but I also think the videos missed the part about cutting a 45 degree angle on the waste water tubing (black tubing) to prevent the line from being blocked if it is over-inserted in the drain pipe. The instructions also walk you through a system purge to clear the lines, tank and filters. I think a combined approach from the videos and manual worked best for me. As shown in one of the YouTube videos, I disconnected the line from the third stage filter to purge the first three stages separately from the rest of the system. Then, keeping the tank valve closed, I reconnected the system and purged the last three stages. This is especially important for the systems with the Alkalinity post-filter (Stage 5). I had to purge the last three sections for 30 minutes before the water stopped being cloudy from what I assume was excess minerals coming from the Alkalinity filter. After that, I opened the tank valve, let it fill once and drained it according to the instructions. As for the hardware, my main gripe is that not all the quick connects had pre-installed, color-coordinated clips. However, the box contained a bag of extra parts that allowed me to perform the installation. I'm not sure if this was an oversight or just the way it is supposed to be. There was some water in the RO canister when I opened it to install the RO membrane. I speculate that either my filter system had been returned (possibly explaining the "missing" clips) or that the system was pressure tested prior to leaving the factory. In any event, the purge process cleaned everything up.A few other minor gripes: The filter section could use some kind of handle to lift it and for holding it while tightening or loosening the filter canisters. Perhaps this is intentional to keep you from over-tightening the connections? Also, the mounting instructions seem like an afterthought. I really can't imagine anyone mounting the filter section under their counter. It is far easier to just slide it under your sink and rest in on the bottom of the first three stages or lay the system on its back. Also, I installed the faucet in an opening in my sink originally intended for a soap dispenser that I never used. I cannot imagine most people using the included mounting hardware for the faucet, so that seems like it should have been a separate option. If it's of any importance, the faucet that came with my system is brushed nickel, but my original hardware is chrome. The distinction isn't that noticeable and I don't mind it, but it might have been nice to have an option (if there was one, I was not aware of it).My system also came with a leak detector that can shut off the flow of water to the system if water starts to pool under the sink. My leak detector uses some kind of pulp material that absorbs water and expands to shut off the flow. It's very low-tech, but that may be a good thing. Some of the videos I saw showed systems with a battery-powered leak detector. Of course, batteries can wear out. Still, an option between the two might have been nice. I did not install the leak detector, so this is just an observation.Overall, I am very pleased with the system despite my concerns and observations. The system is simple and sturdy. The water is creates tastes great and looks crystal clear. My only regret is not having purchased it sooner.

In particular, the instructional videos make it seem easier than it is because they're not shimmying under a kitchen sink with three drain lines, multiple water hoses and electrical conduits for a disposal and dishwasher.

I feel the one thing either missing from or not emphasized enough in the manual is that the storage tank can be stood upright or placed on its side. This was critical for me because the tank would not fit under my sink standing up, and I have a standard 36" cabinet under my sink. My drain setup may be most of the issue - you can see how complicated it is in the pictures. Of course, what little usable space I had under the sink is mostly gone, but that's a small price to pay for clean water.

Another potential issue with the instructions is with how vague they are regarding the installation of the drain saddle.

In any event, the purge process cleaned everything up.

A few other minor gripes: The filter section could use some kind of handle to lift it and for holding it while tightening or loosening the filter canisters.

The distinction isn't that noticeable and I don't mind it, but it might have been nice to have an option (if there was one, I was not aware of it).

We had been living with well water for a couple of years and were very unthrilled with everything about it. It was tolerable with a filter going through the refrigerator and on the shower head, but not great. Then something went very wrong and I still don't know what. My white towels came out yellow after a wash telling me that what I had already felt was right something was wrong with the water. So finally the landlord put a filter on the main pump, which was shocking to me to discover there hadn't been one in the first place, and the towels stopped being yellow. But the water still felt and tasted gross. I was intestinally ill and didn't know why. And then my hair was ruined. The hair strands became narrowed to almost nothing. I had to cut it very short as it just looked like spider silk. We then moved and we're back on city water and it has started the LONG process to recovery. I'm giving this ridiculous detail to let you know how fully skeptical and freaked out I was about water in general. When we first tasted the water in our new place which is on city water (reports say it's some of the best in the country) we thought something was wrong with it because it tasted so different. It was fine, WE were tainted having been poisoned for 2 years. So we filtered it through the refrigerator and it wasn't bad. Then the fridge died. So I combed through different water filtration systems and tried one which arrived broken. Didn't find that out until I had been working on the install for an hour! BE SURE TO INSPECT ANY PRODUCT BEFORE BEGINNING AN INSTALL. I'm going to get a pillow embroidered with that... Anyway! Then a reverse osmosis system was recommended to me and our lives were changed forever. I went through many of the RO systems on Amazon & eBay before settling on imprint. Their video was informative and made me feel that I could install it easily. I was fortunate that a hole was already drilled in the counter for a soap dispenser which I wasn't using. So the only issues with installation and these could have been my fault were not being sure if the little blue clips could go in either way (they can!) and really making sure that the tube had been FIRMLY pushed in. They say to, but I was far too worried I would hurt the tube. Don't be. That suckered is sturdy! There are 2 other issues that I would say determine whether you can easily do this yourself. Physically, I will say I'm not in athletic shape. I have knee, back, and neck issues and vertigo when lying down. (I'm a wreck I know!) This made getting under the sink several times and lying on my back to tighten the faucet challenging. Not undoable, but not the easiest. The clips and all the hoses are explained and color coded very well. That part is very easy. But this is not a light unit. It's heavy which is great in that I really felt it was substantive! But, a little tough when I had to pick it up and put it on the counter several times. Did I mention my bad back as well? Anyway, it was all ready to go when we read the final step. Drill a hole into the waste pipe. Hmmm. I have a drill, but drill into a pipe? In a rental? And while they describe it and it seemed simple enough, the picture didn't look like my pipes. I was lucky enough that the guy who recommended an RO system in the first place was happy to take five minutes out of his day and come over and drill the hole. It was nothing to him, super easy. He actually put the hole into the garbage disposal waste pipe, BTW. SO! As far as installation: depends on your comfort level with drilling a hole into a pipe and physical ability for awkward spaces and kneeling, twisting, etc. I did it though! And that means most of you can too. But you might also want to get all the tunes connected and then hire someone to install it the rest of the way. Don't pay them for connecting those tunes, you can do it! And now the conclusion: How does the water taste? Well, there is just no comparison. Screw Brita and Pur and those 4th rate filters that aren't doing anything worthwhile and you have to constantly refill a horrible pitcher over and over. This water tastes like you think water will taste! Clear, clean, no aftertaste. Just... water! I wish there was a way to be able to bathe in it! And it's that good at room temperature! For those who chill their water just because it tastes better that way, you don't have to! We also were having to buy bagged ice from the grocery store because the fridge that died was also our icemaker and the new fridge didn't have one. That ice is gross. Seriously. You know that smell from the plastic bag that it's in and how it transfers to ice? Bleah! But, I didn't want to make ice cubes with trays as it's a bottom freezer so I would spill the water all the time! What to do... A friend living in an RV told me to buy an icemaker. I was skeptical because I thought it wouldn't work that well, but without giving that a review here, it does work! Bye bye bagged ice!! So now we have the greatest drinking water we've ever had coming right out of a little faucet in the kitchen sink and we can put it into our tiny ice maker to make the best tasting ice we've ever had! And let me tell you, if you think good ice doesn't matter, you are just crazy. What's the point of putting your favorite beverage over something that will make it taste bad? I mean forget any diet soda, that tastes so bad it doesn't matter, but a $65 bottle of Redbreast Irish whiskey? Mmmmmmm.

First, I ordered the ISpring R/O water filter system from Amazon and installed it in my kitchen for clean refreshing water. I was absolutely amazed at how fast and efficient the unit arrived and how easy it was to install. The water that it produces through the filter system is the best water I have ever tasted! I now get clean, clear delicious water all the time right out of my kitchen sink! I cook with it, make coffee, tea and drink it every day all day.
Next, the customer service for ISPring is over the top amazing!! They are always there for a phone call with me if I have a question. Nick, the technician for ISpring, is the person who handles my calls and is always available with kind, helpful, professional service to answer any questions. Nick really knows the system, but more important his customer service is beyond excellent!! I highly recommend this system. Not only is it priced reasonably, but it works like a charm and you have a service tech, Nick, to answer questions! My niece actually was the one who told me about it because she searched for the best one out there and came upon this company!!

I recently installed the iSpring RCC7AK Reverse Osmosis System in my home, and I must say it has exceeded my expectations in every aspect. The installation process was a breeze, thanks to the comprehensive and well-detailed documentation provided. Even as someone who is not particularly handy, I found the instructions easy to follow, making the setup a hassle-free experience.

The water quality delivered by this system is truly remarkable. The NSF Certification adds an extra layer of confidence in its performance, and it has successfully met and even surpassed our family's expectations. The 6-stage filtration process, coupled with the pH+ Alkaline filter, ensures that the water not only tastes clean but also has a refreshing and revitalizing quality.

I appreciate the attention to detail that iSpring has put into designing this system. The robust construction and high-quality materials used instill a sense of durability and reliability. It's evident that iSpring prioritizes delivering a product that not only works efficiently but also stands the test of time.

Overall, I am extremely satisfied with the iSpring RCC7AK Reverse Osmosis System. It's a fantastic investment for anyone looking to enhance the quality of their drinking water. I highly recommend it to others who value ease of installation, water purity, and the peace of mind that comes with a reputable certification.

El sistema fue facil de instalar y sirve muy bien. He dejado de comprar garaffones.

when I started installing the filter. I faced a problem with installing the water adapter . It was not compatible with the European system. I had to buy a new one. A month later I was confronted with a problem with water drainage Sewers! When I calculated the amount of wasted water, it was 5 liters of wasted water every 15 minutes. I contacted a company and they discovered a problem with the valve and they were very cooperative with me and sent me a new one. I advise you to buy this filter

I've been through every cheap filter on the market. I've had a distiller after those which I absolutely loved! The water tasted amazing but my electric bill was eye watering. I did some more research as to an alternative for the distiller and found my way back to a reverse osmosis system. They kind of baffled me before now if I'm honest and I didn't understand how they worked so I bypassed for other options. I wish I'd just started with this. I've wasted thousands on electricity bills over the last few years with my distiller and it is a pain to clean and a chances of getting burned during cleaning process. This reverse osmosis system was easy enough to install (well took a few hours) and that's it, we pour straight from tap no chance of getting burned or having to clean it after every use - brilliant !! And the water tastes good. I often get sick with tap water and this passes the taste test 100% I've already sent the link for this to friends who distill water, urging them to change over too!
Lots of pros to it:- water is clean. It tastes good. The price was good (I got it on a January offer). I like that it has a separate tap.

The only con that might bother some is that it takes up most of one side under your sink. I have the space for it but some might not. But then if you're serious about clean water it's either the space gone there, or space in your fridge for a filter or space on your side for a distiller....so....
Also if you're not handy around the house you might have to get someone in to install it. We did it ourselves but some may not be able to.

(I'm not being paid for this review I genuinely think it's great after trying so many other options!)
