No Love Lost is an excellent, and as always highly complex, investigation for Faith and her soon to be husband Graham. I love when these two officers of the law and lovers work together; they are so in sync and supportive of one another. LynDee Walker creates amazing characters and then puts them through the wringer. Texas Ranger Faith McClellan's reputation as a good guy and seeker of justice is finally coming to help her in this horrifying investigation of that long-heard myth (?) of stolen body parts. As Faith says about all of the odd pieces that don't quite fit, it never comes together until it all comes together. A bit of balance to the horrific investigation comes in the form of their quickly approaching wedding.
I borrowed No Love Lost through Amazon's Kindle Unlimited program, but it is a re-read so I will probably buy it the next time I want to read it.

I’ve read and loved all the previous Faith McClellan books, and I loved No Love Lost. That being said, the case Faith must solve this time is weird, horrific, puzzling and heartbreaking all at the same time. I found this one darker than previous ones, but LynDee Walker has a way of drawing you into Faith’s cases and making them your own in so many ways. I literally wanted to stop at times and was compelled to keep reading. I HAD to stay with Faith until she unraveled all the clues. Few authors can present a disturbing case in such a way that I simply have to keep reading — LynDee Walker is one of them. I highly recommend both this book as well as this series.

I confess I would be even happier with a little less f-bombing, but still excellent reads. I will almost certainly try her Nichelle Clarke series after reading the 6th Faith McClellan book.
