The best service

I'm musician and sound inginier live music from me Many expect the best from a show and for that I have to have my own experience and that of whoever can offer an audio system with the recommendation known to them and the service is very important. The attention that I have received up to now has made me very happy. I hope to continue counting on you sweetwater I am not the only one in my area of work but I am one of the only ones that offers the best service and that is why I choose you thank you

Very High Output Earphones!

I was taken aback by how much louder these earphones are compared to the one-driver ones I had prior. Those drivers really make a huge difference in the clarity. These are also very comfortable. The wires are super thin.

Great in ear monitors

The sound quality of the Westone Pro X30s is fantastic. They are clear and hit all the dynamic ranges so you can hear whatever you want to hear. With all the different attachments and comfort parts, you can personalize them to fit your ears comfortably. I am very pleased!

Great balanced monitors

Disclaimer: As with all earphones, fit is very important to the user experience, and not all earphones fit the same for all individuals.

I purchased on sale as first IEM for drumming to replace Beyerdynamics DT770 M80, as the DT770 high impedance required my interface volume to me maxed for my use. The Pro X30 with both blue and red tips sealed well for me, although I will test shure triple flange tips to find the best overall fit.

During practice I noticed these provide a better seal and more isolation for me than the DT770. Volume control was better balanced for my audio interface output levels, with room to spare on the dial. Sound provided the feedback I needed to here cymbals, toms, and kick accurately in the mix. The more neutral balance of highs, mids, and lows gave me what I would need to hear the separation of instrument without anything being overpowered.

Listening to Hi-res audio devices I could here clear highs and mids without bass overpowering the mix, although there is a nice bass presence that allows for hearing definition in double bass parts. As these are designed around instrument monitoring for practice and performance, they may not have the extra bass presence that some audiophiles are looking for for everyday listening. I did however find listening to Jen Ledger-Ruins and Oh Sleeper-fissure provided me a listening experience I hadn't had before, due to the overall clarity and separation that didn't muddy the bass and other parts together.

As per comfort, these are super lightweight and could be worn for a very long time without fatigue. With the 5 different sizes on tips in both silicone and foam, the user is more likely to find a fit that with work well for them. Although, that is not something that is guaranteed, as each person's ears are different, and changes over time.

I highly recommend checking these out if in the market for IEMs for performance monitoring and do not want to leap to custom in ears.

I don't know why I waited so long

So for starters, these are amazing. They definitely deserve the 5 star rating, but like everyone else has mentioned the cable isn't the best. If you're listening to music, its fine. But for on stage, not even close. These also use an IPX connection now, instead of the old MMCX. However, head over to 64Audio, and get yourself a IPX Professional Cable, and you're set. I got the 64" in black, and its perfect. Thats the type of cable it should have come with. Also, bonus tip: get yourself some small binder clips to clip the cable to your shirt so it doesn't tug on you while you're performing.

Back to the headphones. Fantastic sound. I have 6 driver custom in ears from 64audio (when they were 1964 ears) but I haven't wanted to shell out a custom price. I've had my eye on these for years, but seen they went on sale so said why not, I'm glad I did. For live I was switching off between the Sennheiser IE 100 pros and the 400. The Shure SE215 just felt muffled to me, and not a big sound stage. These for the price can't be beat. I will probably hold off even more for customs again since these are so good. Beautiful highs, and great low end too. I don't use the foam tips, never been a huge fan. But the regular tips are great.

In closing, fantastic headphones. The only issue is the cable. So buy these, buy the IPX Professional Cable and you're set for who knows how long. Can't wait to use them live.
