Update. After a couple weeks of use the individual tools are easyto use, and I continue to carry and highly recommend this item.
Quality is pretty good overall. Everything lines up perfectly. The tools swing open and closed without catching. The locks seem robust and unlikely to fail during use. And this is probably my biggest concern, as I still have a scar from a lockback that failed while I was peeling an apple.
The T4 is easier to open than the Charge Ti, and Juice S2. By pushing with my thumb against the rear of the tools, I can swing open any of the tools. In contrast, the fingernail nick on other models can be frustrating if you have short nails.
Tool selection is very good. The small screwdriver can tighten the tiny screws on a pair of eyeglasses. The scissors are well designed and can snip loose threads cleanly. The pocket knife is of decent size and would be helpful were I get trapped in the wilderness on my commute home from the office. It also cuts a cheap steak better than the strip of brittle plastic I was given in my box lunch.
The main dislike I have about the T4 is that it feels bulky. The Charge Ti has a pliers, saw, and several other tools but is not that much larger. The Juice S2, about the same size as the T4, has a very useful pliers. The T4 is compact, but not compact enough to drop into a pair of slacks. It's not a show-stopper, just bulkier than I'd hoped.
On the T4: The Good:
-"Fairly" easy to open all tools with the RIGHT hand.
-Not as bulky as many claim. Thinner by ~3mm than my 24 yr old Swiss army Deluxe Tinker.
-Pocket clip allows it to be almost completely concealed in the pocket and is easy enough to slide into thinner pocket edge folds than a jeans pocket.
-All tools very sturdy and material appears to be corrosion resistant.
-Scissors is sharp enough to cut cloth.. My Leatherman micra scissors has lost its edge for that and I can't seem to sharpen it enough to where it would cut cloth. Note - If you cut paper / cardboard with a scissors, it dulls the blade and makes it very difficult to cut cloth.
-There is a small hole on the branding side to attach a key ring/lanyard - which I intend to utilize. ;)
The Not so Good:
-Blade is short. Shorter by ~14mm than the knife on the ST200. Probably too short for use in the kitchen. Time will tell if it's length is adequate for other outdoor uses.
-I wished the blade had a serated portion for "sawing" through tougher items.
-The pocket clip cannot be moved to the opposite side. I keep it in my right pocket and when I pull it out, I have to flip it over to open the knife. It would've been great to be able to pull it out my pocket and have the right orientation one time to access / open the knife with my right hand.
-It does take some force to open the blade with my right thumb using one hand and as a result my thumb tip is slightly sore. This shouldn't be a problem if you don't need to open and close the knife often. Or over time it may become looser. I added a small drop of machine oil to help a bit as well.
-If closing the blade with one hand, be careful of your finger placement as, depending on how much force you apply on the back of the blade to swing it shut - it can get your other fingers if they're in the way!
All in all it should serve the need - but I wish it had a bit longer and serated blade, and that the clip could be placed on either side (as in the K4). Will see how it goes in the coming months .. It was a toss up between this and the K4X but the extra $30 was a bit much more and based on comments, way bulkier in the pocket.

I was skeptical about the ability to open/close any tool one handed, but after a little practice, it's actually quite easy to do. Love how every tool locks, and the release is set in a why where it isn't going to be accidentally pressed while using the tools.
It has similar tools/functionality as one of those popular red knifes, but all grown up!
In usual Leatherman fashion all the tools actually work pretty well. The screwdrivers work well, and the scissors are pretty decent. I also appreciate that I can one hand open everything on it.
My only minor complaint is that the main blade is slightly hard to one hand open. Even with some use and a little oil it hasn't really become easier. It's fine, but I think some combination of the knjfe size, the thumb slot location, and the lock mechanism just makes it less smooth than I'd like. I can still one hand it though so it's not a deal breaker.
