Publisher's summary

Completely gripping psychological suspense

Sarah Morgan is a successful and powerful defense attorney in Washington D.C. At 33 years old, she is a named partner at her firm and life is going exactly how she planned.

The same cannot be said for her husband, Adam. He is a struggling writer who has had little success in his career. He begins to tire of his and Sarah’s relationship as she is constantly working.

Out in the secluded woods, at Adam and Sarah’s second home, Adam engages in a passionate affair with Kelly Summers.

Then, one morning everything changes. Adam is arrested for Kelly’s murder. She has been found stabbed to death in Adam and Sarah’s second home.

Sarah soon finds herself playing the defender for her own husband, a man accused of murdering his mistress.

But is Adam guilty or is he innocent?

I was ready for the Book of my life!

My coworkers had built this book up to the point it couldn't be lived upto.
Firstly, I didn't like the narrators, especially the male.
Second, I just think it was "ok". I liked it but it was so
built up in my mind, it was a let down. So sorry Jeneva Rose. I was so wanting to love this book!

Great Read

Loved it. A lot of cliffhangers in chapters but it kept you on your toes.

Pretty good

Quick, fun fictional read- finished in one weekend! The narrators were awful in my opinion...their tones were both annoying & I guess switching between the two just wasn’t for me.

The story itself was a bit obvious however the author did a good job in trying to weave in other potential characters & keep you guessing...i can see why the hype is there. Again, it was a good listen while driving, running errands & cleaning the house.

Lacks Depth, but Fantastic Narration

The Perfect Marriage is narrated perfectly. The male and female voices are intimate and resonating, but the story itself is extremely far fetched. The story focuses on a prominent trial lawyer and her washed up writer husband. The husband is having an affair, and when he finds his mistress murder in the bedroom of his vacation home, his wife becomes his lawyer.

Of course, this would never happen in real life. The story itself is outrageous and satirical. However, it's delivered wonderfully through narration and I think it's worth a credit. Don't expect Pulitzer caliber writing, but just take it as it's meant to be- entertainment.
