The quality of workmanship is worth every penny! After seeing the reviews on the lid, I was apprehensive. But there's a trick! You have to pull up very slightly on the lid when you first go to pull it out and it's perfect. The lid slides smoothly where even if there is water in the dish, it doesn't spill. I also love how you can operate it with one hand.
The instructions are easy to follow and it was put together in 10 minutes. The wood is thick and coated which will make it extremely easy to clean.
The liner that comes with it is heavy duty and works like a ziploc bag. It isn't a requirement to have it inside the container but it helps to keep down on the crumbs from the food. The slide is not a very good quality as it came right off as we unzipped it and would not stay on after multiple attempts to reattach it. This was not a deal breaker by any means, as it just makes it easier and quicker to access the food.
The stainless steel bowls are thick and sit on a rubber opening to prevent leakage.
The style seems as it would go with any decor from rustic to modern. I have already recommended this to other dog families I know! It is a MUST HAVE!
