Adam Sawyer is an outdoor and travel writer, photographer, published author, guide, and public speaker based in the Northwest. I don’t know why some people complained about the pictures in this book? Having seen a few of these falls already, I thought the pictures were spot on! Especially living in the time of Instagram where people color enhance & contrast the crap out of photos, this book provides “real” photos. Nothing is more disappointing than going somewhere and the water isn’t as clear or blue as how someone made it look online. The information provided for each fall is clear and concise. Especially trailhead information, nothing worse than driving down a dirt road and not finding the trailhead! Definitely looking forward to utilizing this book on an upcoming trip.

You can get a lot of info online about hikes, but this is an excellent, thorough resource that gave me more detailed info when planning our trip. Plus, when too much snow on the roads canceled some of our plans, and we had no signal on our cell phones, THIS GUIDE was a huge help in making other plans! There are (color!) pictures of most of the waterfalls mentioned, which is also super helpful in determining which to visit. A great guide!
