What's in the box
Product Description
You're cleared for immediate takeoff. The Thrust master TFRP Flight Rudder Pedals are compatible on PC with all joysticks on the market. They are also compatible on PS4 with the Flight Hotas 4 joystick (sold separately). This is the first rudder to feature the S.M.A.R.T slide rails system for smooth steering. Its ergonomic design allows you to put your entire foot on the pedal, thanks to the heel-rests. The heel-rests are removable, for alternative ergonomic configurations. You are able to place your entire foot on the pedal, or rest the ball of your foot at mid-pedal. The system of 4 slide rails crafted of industrial-grade aluminum offers perfectly smooth sliding motion. The self-centering rudder axis provides the perfect balance between smoothness and resistance. The TFRP's versatile ergonomic design is suitable for all types of flight (aerial combat, space adventure, civil flight, etc.). With the heel-rest removed, you can control the rudder using the ball of your foot, with your heel on the floor, and with the heel-rest in place, you can rest 100% of your foot on the pedal. The large base and inclined design combine comfort with stability. The two differential brake pedals are 10 inches in length designed to accommodate up to size 12 shoe size. Connectivity includes both USB and/or proprietary RJ12. The TFRP Flight Rudder Pedals are compatible with all PC games supporting multi-USB and rudders. On PC and on PS4, the TFRP works with and connects directly to the Thrust master Flight Hotas 4 joystick (sold separately). T.A.R.G.E.T advanced programming software for PC lets you program the axes of rudders and differential brakes. The USB rudder can be combined with Thrust master USB joysticks (HOTAS WARTHOG, T16000M) and the MFD Cougar control panel, so that they are recognized as a single USB device. You can also access advanced profiles created by the Thrust master community.

However I would invest in the stronger springs for the pedals and I would also suggest using Velcro strips to secure them in place, other then that they are awesome

A Favor:
Solidos con plástico solido y carriles de acero reforzados.
Tensor central para dureza de viaje de los pedales de timón.
3 funcionalidades basicamente:
-Timon Izquierda/derecha
-Freno izquierdo/derecho
-Freno central (ambos pedales)
En contra:
Muy pegados los pedales unicamente.
Cuanta también con funcionalidad "racing" que no he probado pero debe ser buena por la buena sensibilidad de los mismos.
I put both the tension springs on down at the bottom giving the most tension on the travel. I would like to try even stiffer springs but haven't researched if there are even any out there. The combo I'm using give a nice, solid, smooth travel with no stickiness anywhere unlike the plastic pedals I've used up until now.
Another huge plus, for me at least, is the quiet operation. Until now every set of pedals I've had (CH Products and Saitek/Logitech) have been plastic with the resultant squeaking/grinding/clacking becoming more and more annoying. I had to accept the noise but I certainly didn't have to like it! Now, all is much, much better.
Provided these last more than a couple years if these break beyond repair I'll buy them again.
regardless of being able to fix the issue by inverting you wont have true neutral and you will have ghosting between the throttle up/throttle down.
the only way to fix this is following a youtube guide by Johnathan Winters called "If You Have Sim Pedals You Need to Watch This" downloading both Vjoy and joystick gremlin applications and merging left/right pedal into a single "slider 1" and binding that to the forward/back dual bind.
having used both with and without the middleware changes to the pedals and using dual sticks, i strongly advocate for merging the pedals into the slider using joystick gremlin as shown in Johnathans video - it is well worth doing and massively improved my experience.
They are close together but I don’t find them difficult to operate. I feel like I prefer it.
They are well built. Yes they are plastic but the feeling underfoot isn’t cheap.
One complaint they are definitely mushy. I don’t have a comparison but I feel like the brake feel might be soft.
Overall I think if your budget is tight but you want to do more than use keyboard or controller there is nothing wrong with this option.
