Please Beware!!!
I purchased this item about a month prior to writing this review. When I ordered the drive, there weren't many reviews but they were all 4 and 5 stars so I thought to myself, what could go wrong? Those were my famous last words.I have many smaller hard drives that I accumulated throughout the years filled with irreplaceable pictures and videos. I bought this Seagate drive to consolidate them and after the 6th TB of data was transferred, I couldn't access the drive at all... Yep. Years of precious memories gone. Just like that.This happened just 3 days after receiving the drive. I was so angry that I couldn't stand even thinking about what just happened. I wanted to calm down before writing this review so I didn't misrepresent my points. Now, a month later, I'm writing this. Clearly the refurbishing department dropped the ball on this one. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this product.
