Hello Leo, this is Kelly with Dyson. The Dyson V7 cordless variants, including the Motorhead have a filter that sits inside of the cyclone which would require washing every 30 days or so. With proper care and maintenance, you should never need to replace it.

Simplest Design!

Excellent!! Very light weight which I needed due to a shoulder injury.Love this vacuum, use it everyday. If you use on Max it will run out of battery pretty quick but if used on regular setting I can get the entire house vacuumed.
