We actually used this for summer ball games to keep the kiddos comfortable and it's been amazing so far. Laying my toddler on top of it in the stroller during naps kept he a lot happier than what she usually would have been. Spilled a few drinks on it, and it wipes right off. Fantastic product, now I just have to get one for the dog haha!

Nice!

I love this pad, is extra large and easy to set up. It has a non toxic cooling gel that keeps your pet comfy when is hot. It is very well made, easy to carry and folds up for storage. It can be use indoors, outdoors and on your car. 
It is very easy to clean with a cloth and soapy water.

Love it

Y'all, this pad is everything! The second I unrolled it and set it down, I laid down on it and couldn't believe how cool it felt. It took about a day for our achy, senior dog to make her way to it, and now she's in love! Any time she lays on the floor, it's on this pad. We thought that maybe she was only laying on it because the location is where she usually lays, so we moved the pad into other areas of the house, and she always followed and laid on it wherever it was. The size is perfect for her. The cooling effect is truly mind-blowing. I wish they'd make these for humans! My only complaint is there's really not a good grip for her to grip her feet and pull herself up. I've noticed that she lays with her legs hanging off most of the time to use the carpet to push herself up better. And that's still not enough for me to lower any stars because of how awesome this pad is! HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

A game changer!

We live in AZ where our temps get up in the 110's . Our dogs don't stay out for long when it is hot and when they come in we try to cool them down. This cooling pad helps a lot, especially with our pug. She sprawls out on it and it seems to help her. It seems to activate itself in cooling, no need to refrigerate or anything. It will be great in the car for trips too. It is large enough for two smaller dogs to lay on as our chihuahua likes to get on too.

Great for hot weather

This Chillz pet pad is really neat! It actually is a cooling mat! I had a hard time believing it would keep cool when I first saw and touched it. However, after squishing it just a bit, I felt the coolness come through. We placed this in the area our dog has claimed as her own. She loves laying on it. It does get hot after she has been laying on it for a little bit but as the directions say, stay off of it for a little bit and it'll cool back down again. It seems like our pup is cooler during the day and the mat makes it easier for her to doze during the day. 

I wish it came in patterns or other designs (it might, I am not sure. I have not explored.). The blue is a bit bright to go with most home decors. Thankfully, for us, our dog has claimed a closet as her home and it is out of sight from most people. 

It is a good size for the lab mix we have. She is a medium-sized dog and about 50 pounds. We have a size large. It is 36” x 20.” It fits her nicely.

Cool (ha ha!)

This dog cool mat is a more accurate size than other brands. I have size large for my 20lb Boston terrier because the other brands run way smaller. Also I love that it is divided into two sections and that the cooling gel inside doesn't move to one side when you pick it up and move it around like other brands. It is also thicker than my other cooling mats. I brought this over to my sisters house to show her and her 57 lb husky shepherd mix just loved it instantly. She's going to have to buy her dog this same mat. I included a photo of my sisters dog laying on the mat because it was just so cute. If you have a dog and live where it gets hot, you need to buy your dog a cool mat. This is a great one! You won't be disappointed. I bought the XL and it measures 37”x31.5”. It's non toxic which is great if you have a chewer.

Way better than other cool mats

I live in Florida and it does get a bit hot inside despite the air conditioner for my dogs. I received this and put it down on the floor, then called my dog over to get him to lay on it. He wasn't sure of it at first, but he did so anyway.
I have noticed that when he's laying on it he doesn't pant as much as when he's laying in the middle of the floor.
One word of advice...put it in a low foot traffic area because it does have a squishy gel feel to it...meaning if you're not paying attention and step on it your foot will slide almost out from under you. I've almost fallen a couple of times from not paying attention to where I was stepping/stepping on it too fast lol.
I did have this on the couch while I was vacuuming and sat on it out of curiosity and there was a cooling feeling to it.
Hopefully it stands the test of time and remains puncture resistant as I imagine it'd be messy if it were to get compromised.

Seems to help

I live in S Florida so it's hot 90% of the time. I put this on my patio so my dog can lay on it when I'm grilling. She insist to be out there so she can get a taste of what is cooking and this is perfect for her to relax on. Even when it's 100 plus out it still feels cool. I'm going to get another one for my cats to enjoy while they're laying by the window. 10 stars all around.

Great for Summer

This was delivered and left on my front porch where the temperature was well over 100 degrees. When I opened the package, the pad felt extremely warm. Even though the package said no refrigeration was needed, I folded it up and put it in the refrigerator just to cool it down. I put it down for my cat, but she didn't seem very interested in it. When I later checked on her, she was lying down on it! I reached down to feel it and it did seem cooler than the carpet. She has recently been diagnosed with a terminal cancer, so I am happy this will help keep her more comfortable while we still have her. Based on how warm it was when I first received this, I don't know how well this would work when the ambient air temperature is very warm.

seems to keep my pet cooler indoors

Had this been new I would give it 5 stars. Nicely over sized, cool and soft to the touch, and wipe clean. However the one I received was used and damaged, fixed with painters tape per the attached photo, and was covered in mould spots.

Had it been a new one I could attest to the good quality, but as I received a disgusting used one, I can only give it 1 star. However, I would recommend it in new condition.
