Book 9 is a sledgehammer of fast-paced action, mayhem, treason, pain, surprises, and decision-making.
Now it's time for Book 10. However, I'm hesitant to move forward because I don't know what lies ahead in this final installment (I think it's the final) of the series. Sigh, well, who am I kidding. Fresh pot of coffee brewing as I prepare for Book 10 and another sleepless night. Best believe the Adrian Hell series is worth it!
Traveling between London, UK and Paris and Rome, they are trying to stop the remnant of The Order, out to destroy the current world order. Can they outwit and out maneuver them to succeed? Then the unthinkable thing happens. Three of their team are captured and tortured. Adrian and his remaining team member are up against Holt’s powerful drone determined to stop them!
This is a face-paced, exciting, suspenseful thriller, with plenty of action. With Adrian’s thinking outside the box and even quicker skills, still he has his work cut out for them to beat Holt. I gave this a four-star rating primarily because I got confused, at times, when Adrian’s inner thoughts/conversations took place because of his past. Knowing assassins are involved, you are prepared for what is involved in a plot like this so would enjoy the book.

This book is charged with non-stop action from England, to France, then Rome where they finally work out what the main enemy is going out to do. With no time to spare the five fight for their own lives plus hundreds more.
When its over, Adrian gets another call from Moses Buchanan asking for he and the team to do an assassin. So we readers are on for another great read.
Highly recommended read.

At the end it seems a tad contrived. The danger comes from an area, which just so happens to be the area of expertise of one of the new team. Adrian on his own, no chance, with this person on the team, no problem
