Need an average dive knife, or around the house knife if you're the sort to strap one onto your leg, or arm, or whatever to wander around with? This may be just the thing for you. It's decently sharp - one photo shows 2 quick offhand slashes at the business card that came along with it.
The whole kit showed up in a white envelope, bursting with eagerness to meet me by ripping through the top. All contents are intact and undamaged.
It arrived in the plastic holster, with a slight bit of protective oil on the knife itself. The grip is decent - slightly short for me, but I have large hands. It eases in and out of the holder nicely once you press the magic button.
I prefer the fabric sheath for around the house carry. (You never know when an Amazon package may arrive and need opening Right Now. Constant vigilance!) However, I'd prefer that that snap was down further on the sheath as the knife still pulls up enough to expose part of the blade as it's currently designed.
The amount of metal left on either side of the hole in the center is very thin - not the best there as it is weak points that could cause a break when defending against zombies, and it won't stand a chance against ninjas.

I Love it and sharp durable keeps his edge and I've used the saw as well no complaints. Good customerservice I had a defective sheath they replaced it at no cost to me and no hassle they were very nice and I've had no trouble with my new one
- Stretchy holster can be attached to any part of body, but personally, I have it on my thigh. It feels very comfortable to the touch, and can be worn even on bare skin without causing irritation.
- Knife blade itself is very sharp, and can cut through cardboard with practically no effort required, provided proper form.
- Grip of the blade is pretty good, and while it isn't the most comfortable, it still functions quite well as a grip.
- Sheath has a relatively low profile (I personally use the plastic one, for personal reasons), and can easily be hidden if wearing long skirts, black pants, etc, without leaving a noticeable bulge in the clothing.
Bad things about the knife:
- The holster straps are a pain in the ass to figure out, and even when sticking them through the buckle (yes, you have to do it yourself), they still fall out on their own, so you have to put them beneath the strap once it's already on you to ensure it stays. This applies whether you're using the fabric or the elastic holster straps.
- The location of the plastic button on the holster is in an awkward position and requires you to have long fingers to effectively take it out with one hand. You can still get it out, just don't expect a lightning fast flip action without some practice.
I bought this knife to protect myself and it is working pretty well. Do buy this if you need protection, it will serve you well.
