Publisher's summary

The Deliverance isn’t alone.

That’s not a surprise. The planet was chosen for a reason.

But the situation is more dire than Caleb ever imagined. The enemy he’s encountered isn’t the enemy he was seeking, and the conflict is expanding in ways he can barely conceive.

Taken prisoner by an opponent both familiar and foreign, he’ll have to prove himself one more time....

Or watch everything he’s fought so hard to protect be destroyed.

If you love Aliens, Battlestar Galactica, Starship Troopers, Ender's Game, or Edge of Tomorrow, you'll love this epic military sci-fi thriller.

I Just Don't Care Anymore

I loved the first book in the series and the second one. By the third I began to be suspicious that this would become a series with 79 books in it with the same things happening over and over. By the end of the fourth book, I'm convinced this will be a series with 79 books and the same things happening over and over. The bigger problem, however, is that by book four none of the characters are sympathetic anymore. The best thing that could happen to the humans and aliens of all varieties is for all of them to die. It's now unbelievable that the surviving marines could survive at all and that the author believes we're still willing to give the evil scientist the benefit of the doubt. Sorry, but enough already. Jeffrey Kafer is good, though.

This audiobook is only part of a book.

The only reason I listened to this series is that the first three books were free. The next two audiobooks should have been one book.

Spent 22 bucks on the first 4 books. Enough

I'm not willing to go into this any further, they should have stuck to 3 packs. just not worth the money for an endless sequel.

Nothing Good Has Happened Yet

This is book four of a five book series. So far everyone dies or is compromised. Very dark ,full of lies and betrayals . I will finish up this series with book 5 , but if Forbes doesn’t pull this out to a good ending , I’m most likely done . I can get all the “darkness” out of the real world that I want….. don’t need to read about humanity’s dark side when I’m trying to escape it !

um, what the heck on the plot.

I don't think these books are great, but I simply can't stop listening. I will finish bc I have come this far, but the plot is getting crazier and more unbelievable.

Evil kept winning

Evil kept winning . I continued to listen to this story wrongly believing that the author would let good win over evil. This has truly soured me on this author. Good author, poor choices in story line!

Another M. R. Forbes great

You are there on another planet or in space. The characters are real and whatever they face, you see and feel.
Much of the time you are on the edge of your seat waiting, watching, anxious to see what comes around the corner. It’s exciting and sometimes sorrowful, but always hopeful.
It’s great entertainment Forbes style.

It's a bit rough...

The whole book just feels like your being smothered for trying to do the right thing. Surrounded by back-stabbing c@@@$. It's my least favorite book in the series so far. Hopefully book 5 will bring it around. I'm tired of everyone you like just dieing.
