Product Description
COREFIT Podiatrist Approved Custom Orthotics - Because Good Foot Care Matters.
Many of today’s over the counter orthotic inserts are much too soft to support body weight. Corefit Orthotics are firm, supportive inserts, which have been used by podiatrists nationwide to provide the impact absorption and gait correction needed to keep feet pain free. (And our 3/4 length size leaves plenty of wiggle room for your toes!) Corefit is an affordable alternative to podiatrist prescribed orthotics.
COREFIT ORTHOTICS - BECAUSE GOOD FOOT CARE MATTERS
PROUDLY MADE IN THE USA
THE SAME CUSTOM ORTHOTICS WE SUPPLY TO PODIATRISTS to relieve the pain & pronation associated with:
- PLANTAR FASCIITIS
- HEEL SPUR
- LOW ARCH
- HIGH ARCH
RELIEVE LOWER BACK, KNEE & FOOT PAIN. SIMPLY DIP IN BOILING WATER. CUSTOM FIT TO FOOT IN MINUTES! Our firm orthotic arch supports have been supplied to podiatrists, medical professionals & the US Armed Forces since 1932. These same custom moldable orthotics are now available direct to consumer.
IMPROVE YOUR QUALITY OF LIFE. Our ability to walk pain-free is vital to quality of life. When low arches cause overpronation, high arches cause supination or standard shoes simply don’t offer enough support, the tendons & ligaments of the foot can become fatigued and fail. This can create a “domino-effect” of pain, radiating from your feet to your knees, hips and even the lower back. Corefit Custom Orthotics help correct this imbalance, thus providing the firm foot support our active bodies need.
MAGAZINE ADVERTISEMENT CIRCA 1946
Shoemaker Joseph Zinke, founder of US based Zinke’s Shoe Company, handcrafted custom shoes as they were made in his native Germany, ”with contoured insoles, formed to fit the foot...” Unlike factory-made shoes, which had flat insoles, his custom shoes left one feeling as though they were walking “on soft earth” instead of pavement. Then, Mr. Zinke thought, “Why not manufacture an individual custom moldable shoe insert that can be inserted into a standard type shoe, giving its wearer the comfort that is only derived from custom-made shoes?”
He and his team of scientists then developed the perfect, custom moldable insert which also turned out to be an evolutionary foot support: Corefit Custom Orthotics
ALL-DAY PAIN RELIEF FROM PLANTAR FASCIITIS, FLAT FEET, HIGH ARCH AND HEEL SPUR
We bridge the gap between podiatrist prescribed custom made inserts and over the counter rubber, gel or foam insoles. Most mass produced insoles are fabricated from cellular sponge and/or foam rubber materials. These products may provide some shock absorption, but minimal (if any) therapeutic control or support. Our self moldable orthotic inserts can be personalized to fit any individual foot in just seconds by simply dipping them in hot water and custom fitting to the foot.

Most footwear sold today offers very little, if any supportAs a result, most shoe wearers feel more comfortable with any additional arch support. Corefit Custom Moldable Orthotics provide this arch stabilizing support in addition to plantar fasciitis & heel spur relief. Podiatrists typically prescribe firm (hard) custom moldable shoe inserts to address foot ailments which cause foot soreness. |

So for many years I have been getting inserts from Amazon, and I have found a couple of different kinds that help with these type of soft shoe. Poking around on Amazon in the suggested items recently and ran across these. I did read the reviews and decided to give them a try. LET ME TELL YOU...they really work! When I first got them, I could not believe how hard these babies were! So I read the instructions, prepared a pot of boiling water, got a chair and prepared to start shaping them to my feet. I found this tip that worked for me: in forming them to your feet, paying special attention to the arches (important for PF sufferers), I used a small towel to wrap around my arch area, while they cooled. And resist squeezing them (this will cause the arch area to be too narrow and they will hurt). With the small towel still wrapped around the mould, put your foot down on the floor and put some pressure while it finishes cooling foot on them. This helps you get a better fit to your foot, took me a couple of tries, but the experimentation paid off. Then, let them cool, slip them in the sneakers and they feel like you are standing on a couple of bricks…Ouch!. It then occurred to me that I need to slip the original insert over the Corefit insert and WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!! It took a several tries to get them exactly the way I wanted, but now I can say that they are more comfortable as my other inserts.
Because of the Corefit Orthotics insert, I can wear all my running shoes all day now. Then switch the orthotics to any shoe I need to wear, this is truly astonishing to me as I usually couldn't get this level of comfort from the other styles of orthotics. Now I put them on and don't take them off until the end of the day. My feet are more comfortable in my shoes and they seem to be much better when I am not using them. They may be helping to correct the FP condition, I certainly hope so!!!!
So, I world humbly say thank you, Corefit for a product that has helped me get a great level of relief from the pain I have endured for so long...thank you.
I developed a spot on the outside edge of my foot. It is calloused. It causes severe pain. Especially when driving. Not much pressure. I drive at work.
Included pictures. Love how these molded around that. The best part is that I can remold these if I get rid of that spot.
I'm a person who always depended on strengthening my feet. Any problem could be solved. Have run three marathons in my life. I had a bad accident, two years ago. My spine twisted. Bad at the bottom of the spine. Caused severe pain in lower back and legs. I've rested so much. My feet are going bad. Also listened to a chiropractor who wanted me to wear inserts. They weren't wide enough. That's how I developed that spot on the outside of my foot. Foot hung over the insert. I've also gotten to where I'm getting pain in the arch. Others, to deal with like metatarsal extension. So I had to do something. I decided to try these. Initial impression is I'm glad I did.
I have been digging with my heel to stop pain in my feet. These are giving my heel that position. I have rather flat feet. Will work into these with precaution. Develop my feet for them. They feel like my feet have been begging for them.
Other things that work good for me. Have a pair of small arch support pads for barefoot in the house. Five Fingers work out pretty darn good. Except with the arch pain creeping up now. Negative heel shoes work out well. I also have started working with magnesium. A book on amazon about it. Have already begun making good progress with magnesium. Am soaking my feet in epsom salt right now. These inserts are mainly for my work boots. I spend alot of time in those boots.
EDIT: I did get the new work boots today. Geesh... $186 for a good pair of Irish Setters. They work good with or without the Orthotics. I do need to work a little on that one spot in the Orthotics. After a while I'll touch there. Also fear molding it too much will result in it breaking. So my plan is to work back and forth.
I wore those same shoes in my picture to the store. Ended up wearing the Orthotics in them when I left. So my rule of not working in slip on is limited to stronger shoes/boots. I'm really liking these Orthotics. Never had any before. Didn't want them. They're wonderful. I find myself standing on my heels. Standing straighter. A good roll to stepping now. Am very glad I bought these.
Didn't have any pain driving home from the store. May seem stupid that is amongst my worst pain. But for me it's true. Feet just sitting there. Loving these.
I need to face the fact that amongst other problems. I'm facing Plantar Fascitis.
At least now, I can get out and work my feet/legs. Rehabilitate them. Get stronger again.

My original ones were made by a nurse who worked in a nursing home and used thermo-plastic to mold to my foot for an exact fit. they were wonderful but eventually wore out and started to crack after 6-7 years of daily use. I needed a replacement as we no longer lived near her.
After much searching found these ... and they are my new go to (I have 2 pairs at the moment).
They are moldable, provide a very nice arch support (I have fallen arches), and appear to be very sturdy so will last a long time.
follow the instructions for molding for best fit.
I have been using for months now with no issues, and just like my previous thermo-plastic pairs don't even notice they are there --- which is what the orthotic is meant to do.
Way cheaper than the customer orthotic process (molds, custom construction etc) and bet will last longer than any of them. Best alternative for me.
I was cynical on this arch support. Ok wearing this took a day. Boy had to get 2nd pair. It felt just like the first pair
Then I came across Corefit mouldable orthotics which has changed my life. I finally have my feet back. These were purchased in September and it is now November and they are still helping my feet. I have since climbed snowdon twice and hiked in the Peak District (roughly 18 miles). I can finally live my life doing what I love most - exploring every inch of the world. It feels amazing to be able to walk again in harsh environments without the chronic pain that comes with plantar fasciitis.
I find that I have to re-mold every 2 weeks which takes about 10 minutes of my time and costs nothing. I would rather do this than pay a ridiculous amount every month for "foam" orthotics which are designed to lose their shape in a few weeks, forcing you to buy another pair every time.
These have seriously changed my life and have impacted me in an extremely positive way. I would like to say thank you to Corefit and would recommend people to give this a go.
