We stayed in Casa Sinaloa. What a peaceful, beautiful setting. I love the wide open spaces and room to breathe and relax! Our house was beautifully designed. I loved water pressure in the shower was wonderful and the bed was beyond comfortable. The covered outdoor patio and wide open sliding doors made it easy to enjoy the scenery. The onsite restaurant made it convenient for breakfast/brunch, and the food was amazing.

This is an up and coming wine & food destination. The wines are impressive and the chefs are doing creative cuisine using local ingredients from farms and the sea. The architecture, history, design sensibility and natural landscape are what make a visit to the Valle so compelling. We had wonderful food from food trucks to fine dining. We used a van to transport us to wine tastings and dinners, which I highly recommend given the poor quality of the roads in many areas (country style dirt roads) and lack of signage. There is a lot to see in a 30 mile radius. Favorite dining was at: Fauna, Animalon, Olivea & Adobe Food Truck. Favorite tastings were at: Bruma, Monte Xanic, Lechuza & Anatolia. We stayed at MYA, a beautiful boutique hotel, which exceeded our expectations in every way. We stayed three nights but could have easily stayed for a week. Next time we will make time for a day trip to Ensenada, the ocean side town nearby. In our group of 8, everyone was delighted by the experience and we've vowed to make it an annual trip going forward. Reservations at restaurants and wineries are recommended.

What a gem of a place!
What a gem of a place! The locals are friendly and very knowledgeable. The scenery is abundant. There is good street food, but also fabulous cuisine at the wineries. There is places to be one with nature, but also others great for socializing. The main wine route is all rounded, and though you might have to deal with a few dirt roads you can take your time figuring out the area. Best of all the value of everything exceeded expectations! Only thing to note is that it gets very cold in winter and extremely hot in the summer, since it is a valley and surrounded by mountains.

Valle de Guadalupe is an up and coming wine region with so many unique wines and varietals. World-class farm to table food from high-end Mexican chefs and the most beautiful, modern architecture: minimalist and unique. The region is like a mix of Malibu and Joshua Tree with so many interesting dome structures. Just go!

For being the premier wine region of Mexico, Valle Guadalupe...
For being the premier wine region of Mexico, Valle Guadalupe was uncrowded, off the beaten path and felt like a local's destination more than a tourist destination. It certainly pays to seek out the lesser known wineries and restaurants that you can happen upon some of the best versions of what the valley has to offer. Beware of the "top 10 lists..." Too well known means overpriced and often underwhelming.
Some hits for us (other than the gorgeous, tranquil Terra de Valle and Don Nacho's amazing hospitality) were Shedeh for both food and wine - absolutely exquisite, and Dona Esthela's breakfast. Barron Balche and Hilo Negro had amazing red wines, Vinos de Garza had arguably the best views in the valley and Bloodlust was just the night time vibe we were looking for.
This is a true hidden gem for anyone in the area, even for a day trip from the coast. 5 days would be plenty.

The property was beautiful, set amongst lovely gardens, with plenty of areas to read and relax. Particular care was taken to display beautiful crafts as well as the owner's own paintings. I especially liked the care taken with regards to the environment; the owner provides mineral water to avoid the use of plastic and everything served is homemade. It is a very relaxing environment. The owner, Maria Teresa and the staff were very friendly and her recommendations for wineries, restaurants and craft stores were all exceptionally good.
We loved the views and the feeling of the ultimate glamping hotel retreat. This place is not a hotel for everyone but it's very special and very cool. If you like staff and room service, personal check-in might not be for you. We liked that we could keep to ourselves and when we wanted service go to the pool. The room was very clean and nice linens, beds were very comfy. Absolutely loved the access to Encuentro pool and hot tub which was actually hot! That really made our stay!
I really liked Siempre Valle. The rooms are big and comfortable, they have a little balcony with a fire pit and a nice view, and they offer water, coffee, and a bottle of wine as a courtesy. They also have a mini fridge with drinks and snacks you can buy. The hotel’s pool is nice and my favorite part was the fire pit they have outside where you can have a glass of wine and chill. Mario, who is in charge of the hotel was very kind and helpful to us.
The property is located near several wineries. Beautiful property; staff were attentive and courteous. We arrived an hour early and accommodated an early check-in. Bed was comfortable. The restaurant on the property, Fuego was beautifully decorated for Christmas. Our stay was for only one night and unfortunately didn’t get a chance to eat there, but enjoyed a glass of wine and the nice ambiance. Many amenities to enjoy.
Breakfast was great. The staff and their dogs were very friendly. The room was very comfortable: it stayed cool even when it was hot during the day. Peaceful, quiet, very relaxing. It's really more of a bed and breakfast than a hotel. (Regarding the dogs, I'm normally a little skittish around dogs, but these dogs were so friendly and lovable. We enjoyed their company very much.)
My stay was truly incredible. The hospitality of the owner and his staff is outstanding, the food was local and of the highest quality, the property was beautiful, rustic, and well kept. I felt valued and well taken care of. The location is central to many of the finest wineries in the valley, 20 minutes from the furthest, and 35 minutes from the center of Ensenada.
Rustic and Charming, this great little diamond in the rough located in the heart of Valle de Guadalupe's wine country, is literally with in a stone throw of mayor wineries such as Baron Balche, Casta de Vinos and many other. Also you can find some of the best sea food that Baja California has to offer in nearby Ensenada, just a 25 mile ride away.
We had a few hiccups during our stay however the hotel management and staff were wonderful in resolving our issues right away. They were kind and prompt in communication and did everything they could to take care of us. Excellent custom service! The grounds are beautiful and private. A nice little getaway in Valle De Guadalupe.
The hotel was perfect. The room was well designed, clean, and comfortable, with a huge, comfy bed and a nice bathroom. The surroundings were beautiful, and the breakfast was a highlight. We also really liked the staff who made an effort to make us feel welcome and to help with everything we asked for.
It’s a hidden gem!! It’s a small but super cute hotel. The restaurant is very pretty and the food is delicious. If you want to be comfortable in Valle but don’t have the budget for a 500USD-per-night-boutique-hotel, this is where you should stay.
The staff is also very nice.
Excellent place to have a relaxing/ romantic getaway. Only a few minutes away from the most popular places in Valle de Guadalupe. Staff was super friendly. Cabins were very nice and clean, the Restaurants food was great. We will definitely stay at Entrevalle again. 5 stars!
Super cozy hotel, José, Alonso, Karla, and their whole family are very nice and hospitable. Alonso also happens to be a great cook!
The hotel has a lot of character and it’s gorgeous. They treated us like family, definitely recommend :)
Quaint little hotel. Wonderfully done interior. Nice little bar. Great little 'outside' eating area with a big rock/water wall. Easily accessible right off the Ruta del Vino with it's own parking lot.
Absolutely best location for access to so many wineries and restaurants. The garden is quaint and breakfast was delightful. Extremely clean and modern room with very comfortable beds.
The location is great right by the main vineyards. Breakfast is delicious (although main dishes come with an extra cost). The main areas of the hotel are very pleasant
Highly recommend Encuentro. It is a unique hotel, in terms of architecture. Service is great and the facilities are amazing. The pool area is excellent. Amazing views!
