Update 30 Oct 2018: These line of monitors are so good, I bought the XG35VQ as well to add. No dead pixels. No color issues or panel problems. The box that came with it was damaged due to UPS shipping due to raining a lot in Hawaii today. I dont think Amazon shipped me a slightly damaged and wet box. The monitor inside was dry so that was good. It hooked up very well. I had to get used to the settings since it was slightly different from my XG27VQ next to it. I dont like the ELMB feature because of ghosting with my 1080 Ti. I know this is a freesync monitor, but I didnt want to pay for the expensive gsync feature. My XG27VQ works perfectly and pictures are beautiful, now with this XG35VQ, this is a HUGE beauty that makes me feel like I'm at a star wars battle station. I can't play youtube videos on full widescreen but its still good if you dont mind the black bars on the side, which I dont since I mainly bought this ultrawide screen for the screen real estate for productivity and heavy PC gaming with WoW, CODBO4, Fortnite. I play other titles like BF1, BF5 when it was in beta, destiny 2, dragon ball Z, assassins creed odessy on my xbox one X connected to my XG27VQ. Overall these two monitors are BEASTS with my 1080 Ti. I am a happy customer. Now, how do I get my copy of COD BO4?

Cons: (Not enough to remove a star)
-The stand is big but slim enough to maneuver around it.
-If you mount the monitors you lose the red logo...
-Rgb not super strong but in the dark it's enough to light a whiteish wall.
I bought 2 of them, looks dope, play great, colors are awesome and the look is amazing. If nothing breaks this could be the best investment I made in monitors.
I also bought a Samsung CF591 witch is also a 27' curved monitor but was 60hz (oc to 75) and I can see the difference between 75hz and the 144hz. Colors are kinda the same.

Pros:
Only takes a few minutes to set up, the stand is fastened by a single screw.
2 graphic plates to choose from for the down facing beam plus one blank plate to create your own design.
Very good price for a gaming focused monitor. ( catch it on sale)
Cons:
Freesync is unfortunately incompatible with Nvidia cards. I knew this before purchasing. (Gsync screens are expensive!)
Large footprint on your desk (likely to accomodate the beam on the bottom gimmick), could have been great with a single foot stand.
Definitely a great gaming monitor if you're on a budget, an better buy if you have and AMD graphics card to pair with.
